Summary
After his father’s death, Eli has drifted from home to home, each new beginning an opportunity to perfect his mask. By the time he reaches the last, the wealthy couple looking to adopt him is easy to charm, easy to impress. Their son, however, is something else. No matter how hard Eli tries, there’s no charming Victor Vale.

ACTUALLY INCREDIBLE OMG
asexual victor is respected and present but also omg mr vale sexually abusing him was such an interesting take and sad. But it was so good with the absences and the comforting they gave to eachother. And vic not wanting to kill his father so Eli destroys him and they end up happy and murderers together but only bad people. But omg like when Eli had been protecting him but then he got him alone and vic was like kiss me so I can forget him omg my baby and Eli in his head being like you stupid cow to vics mom for leaving them alone omg vics parents I hate them. But at least Eli and him protect eachother but omg this was just so sad and amazing
