   Summary

   The girl burst into tears, which Giyuu watched placidly, despite the tear tracks dried on his own cheeks.

   “No, there’s no way - there’s no way he was alive. The demon crushed his head. I’m so sorry - it was just gone, there was nothing left.”

   Giyuu processed this information quietly, and found himself grateful that Sabito was spared that pain. But Giyuu then thinks to himself that he gladly would have been eaten alive if it meant Sabito was here in his stead.

   With that thought firmly affixed in his brain, Giyuu continued his life as a debtor.

   Tsutako and Sabito... he would have to ask for their forgiveness when he saw them again - even if it was not something that he deserved.
