Chapter Text
When the girl first opened her eyes after what seemed like a long, long time; the first thing she realized was that her stomach that was slashed open moments ago no longer hurt.
The second thing she realized, was that she couldn't feel her body, and that she was still on the floor when she fell before she fainted from the blood loss.
She panicked, and tried to move her fingers, even then she still felt nothing.
Move! She willed, praying to what god or gods out there that might hear her, Please let me move!
It was fast like a snap of her fingers, she took a moment before she saw that she was no longer facing the ceiling and instead she was now facing the wall. Somehow, she was standing up, and somehow, she had not even felt herself rise up.
But wait, where was the floor? She looked down to her feet; it was on the floor as it should but the usual feeling of cold hard boards was instead replaced with a feeling that she was walking on air.
She slowly lifted her leg; it was much easier to move now as compared to earlier. It was as though she was released from shackles and chains that bounded her to the ground. She walked baby steps around the room, gaining a bit of confidence, she twirled around, stopping when she was face to face with what laid in the middle of the room.
Oh god, please wake me up if this is a dream.
She staggered forwards, dropping on her knees as her trembling hand tried to reach out towards the pale face of the young woman. Her eyes were wide open and unmoving, her mouth slightly agape and filled with blood, overflowing and trailing into a growing pool under her head. Her hand never made contact with the woman's face, instead it passed through her face as though her whole being was made of air.
She didn't take long to piece together her thoughts, the reality of her situation hitting her hard.
She was dead, this was her body and her brother who was no longer human was the one who had killed her.
