“This is stupid.”
“This is hilarious.”
“Do it for the children, Joonghyuk-ah.”
Yoo Joonghyuk scowls at Jung Heewon and Han Sooyoung as they finally pin him down. Jung Heewon tugs at his pants while Han Sooyoung sits on his stomach and tries to tear his shirt off. He puts up a valiant fight, but Lee Hyunsung already knows how this will end. With Yoo Joonghyuk in the Sailor Scout outfit, just like him.
“Stop struggling, it’ll hurt less.”
“I got his pants off!”
“Good! Is he wearing boxers?”
“Briefs!”
“Great! He can keep those on! Get the skirt, I’ll hold him!”
Lee Hyunsung keeps his knees closed when shuffling out Jung Heewon’s way. He wonders if all skirts are this… breezy. The costumes are as accurate as possible. From individually stylized wigs for those whose hair isn’t long enough, to the impossibly tiny miniskirts on the leotard. The only concession Han Sooyoung allows is booty shorts to prevent any accidental flashing. The adults must suffer the late October chill for the sake of authenticity.
“Get off!”
“No!”
Han Sooyoung manages to lock one of Yoo Joonghyuk’s arms into a submission hold. Jung Heewon has one leg through the leotard and is dodging the other.
“Joonghyuk-ssi, it’s really not that bad.” Lee Hyunsung tugs at his skirt as he says this. “Once you get used to it, you don’t really notice.”
“Hyunsung you coward, have some pride!”
“I like living too much.”
“Got it”
There’s a quiet snap from the elastic as Jung Heewon pulls the leotard up to his waist. Han Sooyoung must be distracted because Yoo Joonghyuk breaks her hold. He manages to twist his leg and axe kick her into the ground. Jung Heewon dodges the one aimed at her and drags Han Sooyoung out of the danger zone. Yoo Joonghyuk gets to his feet and tries to tear the skirt off.
“Is everything okay in here?” Yoo Sangah pokes her head into the room
Han Sooyoung lets out a battle cry and charges Yoo Joonghyuk, only for him to hip throw her into a wall.
“It’s fine, we got this.” Jung Heewon flashes her a thumb up before joining Han Sooyoung.
“If you say so. Hyunsung-ssi, please come with me. We’re going to do some last-minute touch ups.”
Lee Hyunsung carefully gets up and skirts the edge of the room, far away from the bundle of flying feet and hands in the center. Yoo Sangah grabs his arm and guides him towards the bathroom. Lee Jihye is sitting on the toilet seat on her phone. Her hair is wrapped in a splotchy towel and the back of her neck and shirt is starting to stain pink. Yoo Sangah pulls out a chair and a compact
“Thank you for going along with this. I know it must be uncomfortable.”
“The kids were really excited. Even Gilyoung is looking forward to this, so I don’t want to ruin it.”
“That’s really sweet.”
“I still think this is stupid.” Lee Jihye pipes up. “Why do I have to be the pink one? I could have been the cat and Gilyoung could wear the skirt.”
Both adults ignore her. Yoo Sangah pull out her make up kit and starts to lightly brush at Lee Hyunsung’s face. It tickles, and he has to fight the urge to flinch when they get close to his eyes or ears. She stays away from his neck, mostly so that none of the blush or foundation finds its way onto his costume. Once she’s done with his face the hair is next. He’s been letting it grow out for the past month, so it’s no longer in a military crew cut. Yoo Sangah twirls the short strands into rollers and waits. Lee Hyunsung is starting to fidget when the door opens.
“My turn for make up.”
“Heewon-ssi, how’s Joonghyuk-ssi doing?”
“Sooyoung-ssi has him handled for now. You said something about doing my hair earlier?”
“We’re just adding more volume, making it look fluffier. It shouldn’t damage Heewon-ssi’s hair but we should still be careful.”
By the sink, Lee Jihye finally unrolls the towel and rinses her hair. “Aaaah, the dye looks terrible.”
“It cotton candy pink, it doesn’t really suit your face if I’m being honest.”
“There’s still a bit of dye stuck on, taking a shower might help.”
Lee Hyunsung has to make a conscious decision to not touch his own blue hair. Yoo Sangah might kill him if he ruins it this close to the end. There a dull BANG as something hits the other side of the wall next to him.
“Hyunsung-ssi, can you go help Han Sooyoung for a bit? We got him in the sailor suit but it sounds like she still needs help.”
“Ah, sure.”
As he gets up, there’s another BANG from the other room. He can hear muffled yelling and what sounds like Lee Gilyoung laughing. When he opens the door, the kids come running past him screaming about Tuxedo Mask. Lee Gilyoung is in the lead, his Artemis costume is a mess. His tail is missing and the moon sticker has found its way to his nose. In comparison, Shin Yoosoung is ready to go trick or treating as Luna. Her tail and ears are on, she’s wearing all black, and her sticker is firmly on her forehead. Both children are giggling as the hop down the stairs. Smiling at their backs, Lee Hyunsung is not prepared when he enters Han Sooyoung’s room.
The room is a mess. Books and clothes are scattered across the ground. The bed is completely unmade and the desk is overturned. In the center of it all Yoo Joonghyuk stands tall, crushing a cherry red high heeled boot. Han Sooyoung is breathing heavily but appears to be mostly unharmed. She somehow managed to shove the wig onto him without destroying it.
“Do you. Does Sooyoung-ssi need help?”
“I will beat you to death with this boot. Don’t think I won’t.”
“Please, Joonghyuk-ssi, it really isn’t that bad.”
“Hmph. I can wear heels all day.” Han Sooyoung brags. “But I guess it’s true that the great Yoo Joonghyuk is just a wimp. I mean, if I can do it, Yoo Sangah can do it, Jung Heewon can do it, and even Lee Hyunsung can do it, then it can’t be that difficult.”
Yoo Joonghyuk chucks a lamp at her head.
“Sooyoung-ssi, please stop trying to help.”
It takes a while, but Lee Hyunsung finally convinces Yoo Joonghyuk to not kill Han Sooyoung and to put the heels on. Yoo Joonghyuk is leaning back on the bed while they finishes zipping the boot for him when a black blur comes barreling through the door.
“Sailor Moon, I’m here to- oh.” Kim Dokja freezes as he takes in the view. Behind his mask, his eyes slowly trace a path from boot to uplifted miniskirt. Kim Dokja slides across the room and grabs the boot at the ankle, raising it even higher and bunching the skirt up even more. “Sooyoung, where can I buy-”
“BASTARD!”
Yoo Joonghyuk’s foot lashes out of Kim Dokja’s hands and into his face. The heel catches him in the cheek, knocking him to the ground. Yoo Joonghyuk leaps from the bed and manages to lifts his knee and stomp without falling. Kim Dokja wheezes as Yoo Joonghyuk grinds down, crushing his chest. He’s staring up Yoo Joonghyuk’s leg with wild eyes. Lee Hyunsung can see him mouthing something but there isn’t enough air in his lungs for the words to form.
Yoo Sangah and Jung Heewon come running into the room. They both freeze in shock and Jung Heewon looks at Lee Hyunsung like she’s asking ‘what the hell?’. Lee Hyunsung is just as confused and very scared. Kim Dokja’s eyes are starting to glaze over, even as he raises one arm slides it up Yoo Joonghyuk’s thigh and under his skirt.
“Sailor Moon, We’re here to rescue you!”
Oh, thank god for the children. They’re appearance breaks whatever spell the adults are under. Han Sooyoung yanks Yoo Joonghyuk back to the bed and straightens his skirt. Jung Heewon and Lee Hyunsung each grab one of Kim Dokja’s arms and drag him to a chair.
“Yoosung-ah! Come help Joonghyuk-ssi, he needs practice walking in high heels.” Yoo Sangah calls.
Yoo Joonghyuk blushes furiously as the kids grab his hands and tug him out the door. Whisper about how pretty he looks and that they’ll teach him how to walk properly. Once they’re at the stair, Lee Jihye runs into the room and attacks.
“PERVERT!” Lee Jihye smirks as she stomps her heel onto his back.
There’s a look of disgust of Kim Dokja’s face as she tries to grind her heel in. He stands up and flings her off his back and onto the ground.
He sniffs haughtily and declares, “The only one allowed to step on me is Joonghyuk,” before flouncing after the man.
