   Summary

   Before she can think about it, before anybody can stop her—and much faster than anyone around her knew she could—she’s on him and swinging. Her fist connects with a satisfying crunch and he shouts.

   “What the fuck, Midoriya?!”

   She faintly hears the sound of her name behind her. Midoriya-san, Midoriya-san, Midoriya-san.

   She grips him by the collar, the knowledge that the name Midoriya-san doesn’t mean the same thing anymore burning a hole in her sternum.

   “You did this,” she growls, noting somewhere in her mind that she’s never growled before, not like this. “You did this.”

   She sees Kirishima in her peripheral vision reaching for her. Bakugou blocks him with an arm. “What are you talking about?” he asks, low and nasally from the blood beginning to clot on his face.

   When Deku is gone and Bakugou and Uraraka are the ones left to carry his legacy, they learn the hard way how to bear each other's burdens.
