Work Text:

Yoongi watches Jimin’s back as he drags him out of the University campus with a soft smile on his face. Jimin rushes him, whining about wanting his kisses quickly and Yoongi can’t do anything else but to start walking a little faster, matching Jimin’s tempo as they walk in the direction of Jimin and Taehyung’s, his best friend and classmate, small apartment.

He is a little confused about why are they going to Jimin’s place. They usually go to Yoongi’s apartment when they want to have some alone time and make out after a lecture, mainly because Taehyung doesn’t understand the concept of privacy and Yoongi needs that to enjoy a nice make-out session. Yoongi’s roommates, Namjoon and Seokjin, are more respectful of his space plus Yoongi can actually lock his door if he doesn’t want any uninvited guests.

Having Taehyung just a room away meant that they weren’t safe there. The possibility of Taehyung walking in on them is too big to enjoy the moment, each little rustling in the corridor making them almost jump away from each other.

Yoongi finds kissing with other people around awkward and for the longest time, he was scared to even flirt with Jimin, fearing the younger wouldn’t understand his feelings or would find it weird, backing off from Yoongi as quickly as possible. Jimin, as the angel that he is, understood his feelings and always makes sure they are alone if he wants to get more physical than a hug.

“Do you have more classes today?” Yoongi asks.

They usually go to Jimin’s apartment if they still have classes, since it’s much closer to the campus. But as far as Yoongi remembers they usual routine for this time of the week is to lock themselves in Yoongi’s room and make out until they get hungry.

“No.” Jimin smiles at Yoongi, seeing the pure confusion on his face. “I just couldn’t stop thinking about kissing you and I want to do it as soon as possible,” Jimin says lightly with a soft smile.

“But Taehyung-” Yoongi starts, eyes going wide with panic.

They are already nearing the apartment building and Yoongi starts to wonder if Jimin forgot he doesn’t enjoy people around.

“He has classes until late afternoon,” Jimin assures him, squeezing his hand. “He actually signed up for a class and forgot to put it in his schedule, so now he is in trouble.”

Yoongi’s brain freezes trying to understand what Jimin just said, “It’s almost the end of the semester.” He points out the obvious.

Jimin rushes up the stairs, leaving Yoongi behind, “Yeah.” He giggles, taking two steps at a time. “So we are alone today.”

Yoongi rushes behind Jimin, his smile matching his boyfriends as they reach the small apartment. Jimin pulls Yoongi all the way to his room, not bothering to close the door to his room since they are alone. Yoongi’s room is so much better than Jimin’s because Yoongi can lock his door.

Yoongi decides to ignore the wide-open door as Jimin kisses him, circling his arms around Yoongi’s neck. Yoongi loves kissing with Jimin, it feels like a dream and his days always get better. If he wouldn’t be shy about kissing in public he is sure they would be making out like one of those gross couples at the bus stop.

The kiss gets heated quickly, with Jimin pulling Yoongi closer to his bed. Jimin keeps humming into Yoongi’s open mouth, sucking on his tongue in the way that makes Yoongi’s head spin. Soon they are laying in Jimin’s bed, completely sucked into their small world.

Yoongi is above Jimin, his chest barely hovering over Jimin’s. His hand is delicately running up and down Jimin’s side, giving him butterflies.

“Yoongi,” Jimin whispers between kisses, biting on Yoongi’s lower lip. Even with eyes closed, he knows Jimin must look so hot right now.

Yoongi hums in a question, kissing Jimin before he can say anything. Jimin smiles into the kiss, moving his hips upwards to test the waters. Yoongi responds instantly, kissing Jimin deeper, rolling his hips down into Jimin’s making him moan quietly.

Suddenly, there is an impressed whistle that makes Yoongi choke on his moan, making them jump apart. Yoongi almost falls from the bed as he tries to roll off Jimin as soon as possible. Taehyung is standing at the door to Jimin’s room, leaning over the door frame, nodding with a face of an art critique judging a piece.

“Taehyung!” Jimin screams in horror. “How long have you been here?” Jimin looks at Yoongi, whose face is all red.

Yoongi pulls a blanket over his head, breath still uneven from kissing and getting more and more worked up. Jimin sits in front of Yoongi’s hips, covering his obviously growing member.

Taehyung shrugs, “A while.” He smiles at Jimin with a glister of a tease in his eyes. “Wasn’t expecting you two here so I didn’t say anything when I walked in.”

“Don’t you have a class?” Jimin asks in a very passive-aggressive tone.

Taehyung invites himself in, the exact opposite of what he should do in this situation, “It was boring. The professor was reading of a paper and the powerpoint was so ugly I couldn't even look at it.” He says, joining Jimin and Yoongi on the bed.

Jimin can hear Yoongi making an angry noise as he feels the bed dipping under yet another body, Taehyung ignores it.

“I just left and he didn’t even care,” Taehyung says lightly, “Who thought University will be this easy?”

“It’s not” Jimin huffs at Taehyung at the same time Yoongi grumps from under the blanket, “Do it again now.”

Taehyung laughs loudly, clapping his hands as if Yoongi said the most hilarious joke, “You mean to leave you?” Jimin nods, still glaring at Taehyung, “To be honest I was expecting a nicer time with you.”

“You are doing it on purpose.” Jimin deadpans.

“Have you seen the rest today?” Taehyung continues, blatantly ignoring Jimin’s jab.

“The rest?” Jimin frowns, “No, why?”

Taehyung gets up, typing on his phone furiously, “So good you are here then, Jiminie.” he says with the tone of a worried mother. “They will be here soon.”

“Is this because I lost your charger!” Jimin screams behind Taehyung, who quickly leaves the room with a wide grin on his face.

Jimin has never seen their friends gathering so quickly. He and Yoongi are still in Jimin’s room, trying to calm down each other when Namjoon and Hoseok show up. It’s hard to not hear them when they enter the apartment with screaming.

Usually, they are happy to meet up with their friends but right now they just wish to be left alone. Yoongi was very happy to spend some alone time with Jimin because other than his friends believe, they aren’t alone all the time. If they are at Yoongi’s place Seokjin or Namjoon will show up sometimes and hang around. If they are at Jimin’s Taehyung is always wanting to talk to them. Often when Yoongi wants to take Jimin out to a cinema or maybe a nice evening drink Hoseok and Jungkook find their way to the exact same place they are at.

They love their friends with all their lives but sometimes Yoongi feels like none of them take their relationship seriously. Since they are a friend group they don’t see any issue with them hanging out as nothing changed. But things changed and sometimes Jimin and Yoongi just wish to be alone to talk, cuddle and yeah, kiss.

But it looks like it won’t be given to them today.

It’s cool, they moods quickly become better. They want to hang out with their friends with a positive attitude, even if Taehyung will probably tell everyone about what he saw. Yoongi can just hope Taehyung won’t touch upon that. He doesn’t really want to be teased right now.

For the most part, it’s going great, they are laughing and the pizza on Hoseok’s cost tastes amazing. Jimin stays close to Yoongi, resting his head on his shoulder. They are watching a movie Yoongi has no interest in and by the way Jimin keeps on playing with his fingers, he also isn’t sucked into it.

Yoongi keeps glancing at Jimin, the feeling of their lips crashing still fresh on his mind. He is hungry for more but he doesn’t want to kiss Jimin with their friends around.

His shyness about public kissing is nothing deep. But he saw people kiss in public before and he hated the way they look and how it made everyone around, including him, feel. He doesn’t want to make people around him feel uneasy when he can survive until they are alone. People don’t need to see or hear him kiss Jimin.

It used to be an issue in his other relationship and he isn’t surprised, he is more surprised by how chill Jimin is about it.

Jimin catches him looking at him and smiles, leaning harder into Yoongi, his eyes traveling to Yoongi’s lips. He wants to kiss Jimin so badly and the sneaky glance Jimin throws around the room tells him he thinks about the same thing.

Once when Yoongi asked Jimin why he is fine with Yoongi’s shyness Jimin told him that he enjoys the feeling of not being able to do something, that makes the whole experience somehow better. It feels like Yoongi is teasing him. The way Jimin spoke about it was hot and made him see their sneaky kisses in a completely different light.

Sometimes they kiss in public when Yoongi is fully sure nobody will see or hear. It’s always a quick, dry peck but it makes Jimin happy.

Jimin bites on his bottom lip, encouraging him to lean into his space but Yoongi doesn’t. He keeps glancing around, unsure, wondering if the TV isn’t too low if one of their friends would see it.

“Well,” Jimin says loudly, getting everyone’s attention. He pats Yoongi’s thigh and gets up. “I’ll get myself a drink.” He nods, smiling at Yoongi, hoping he will understand.

Jimin opens the fridge, waiting for Yoongi to hopefully follow him soon.

“Going to the bathroom?” Jimin can hear Seokjin’s teasing tone.

Yoongi enters the kitchen as their friends are still snickering about it, probably well aware why Yoongi followed Jimin. But being away from their eyes is enough for Yoongi.

Jimin smiles at him, closing the fridge with a little too much force. Yoongi smiles back, coming closer and pulling Jimin by his hand for a kiss. Jimin chuckles when their lips smack a little too loudly in the empty kitchen.

“You think they heard that?” Yoongi asks, hiding his face in Jimin’s neck.

Jimin can’t help but laugh at his boyfriend, kissing the side of his head, “You know that they know what we are doing here?”

“Don’t laugh at me.” Yoongi mumbles, jabbing a finger into Jimin’s ribs. “Give me a kiss.”

Jimin complies immediately, kissing Yoongi’s cheeks, nose, and forehead before he finally connects their lips, peppering them with sweet sweet kisses. Yoongi tries catching Jimin’s lips between his to deepen the kiss but Jimin slips away each time, giggling sweetly.

“Looks like I’m getting thirsty.” They can hear Hoseok say in a very loud and stiff voice.

Yoongi huffs out a laugh, leaving the last kiss in the corner of Jimin’s mouth, “He’s such a bad actor.”

Hoseok walks into the kitchen with a big smile on his face, awkwardly moving around Jimin and Yoongi.

“Hyung, we aren’t poisonous.” Jimin laughs.

Yoongi detaches himself from Jimin, moving away into the direction of the living room, with Jimin holding onto his sleeve, trying to stop him in hopes for another kiss when Hoseok will leave. Yoongi pulls Jimin with him, clearing his throat awkwardly as they walk into the room. Their friends sit just as they were, half watching, half talking over each other, fighting over the logic of the movie.

Taehyung turns his attention away from Jungkook, who’s trying to argue his point while showing popcorn into his mouth, “Had a nice drink out there?”

Jungkook gags from across them, suddenly becoming very pale, “They drank each other’s saliva.” He mumbles into his hand, more to himself as the horrendous thought appears in his brain.

Hoseok whines from the kitchen door frame, a barely bitten cookie in his mouth. He scrunches his face in disgust as the rest of them scream. “I was about to eat it!” Hoseok whines, spitting the cookie into the trash bin standing next to the kitchen entrance. “Don’t describe kissing like that!”

“This got you?” Taehyung looks more disgusted with Hoseok spitting the cookie out but he quickly shakes it off, an evil grin appearing on his face, “That’s nothing!” He says, sitting more straight to get everyone’s attention.

Jimin throws Taehyung a cold glare, sensing what’s on the mind of his best friend. Taehyung ignores him, smiling widely at their friends who look at Taehyung impatiently. Everyone seems to be listening, even Namjoon, whose eyes are still on the screen.

“If I didn’t skip the class they would be drinking sperm out of each other’s dick.” He says, visibly proud of his comparison.

“You skipped class?!” Namjoon asks in horror, his head turning towards Taehyung as Seokjin screams, “Why would you say that?!”

Jungkook looks absolutely disgusted but also very close to laughing, repeating what Taehyung just said under his nose. Hoseok stays where he is, close to the kitchen looking numb. Jimin just laughs, holding onto Yoongi for dear life because it’s actually kind of funny.

“I’m still not over kissing, I can’t process the rest,” Yoongi says, looking at Jimin who’s crying and laughing at the same time.

Yoongi is used to his friends’ weird jokes, he shares the same sense of humor with them but this time he is just shocked. He sees the logic, in the first statement but the second one he just doesn’t want to think about. Yoongi is just thankful that Taehyung took away the attention from him catching them making out by his weird comparison.

Yoongi might be happy about their friends dropping Taehyung’s comment a little too soon. Since he can remember Namjoon has a strange habit of randomly remembering information he heard somewhere. Seokjin often jokes that his system lagged for a good week and the news just now hit him. It would explain a lot.

“I have a question,” Namjoon announces as he appears in Yoongi’s room threshold.

Yoongi looks up from his laptop, a string from hoodie bitten between his teeth, trying to focus, “Okay?” He mumbles, waiting for Namjoon to ask the question so he can answer and go back to his assignment.

He is far behind his project partners so he tries to catch up. They are working on it for a month but he just didn’t think about the amount of research he needs and now he is buried in PDF files and books until further notice. Yoongi does all of this in his bed, so it’s easier to just take a nap from time to time when he has enough of looking at pillars.

“I just remembered Taehyung talking about you drinking Jimin’s spe-”

“What are you talking abo-” Yoongi groans, pinching his nose and scrunching his whole face, the laptop wobbling on his lap dangerously as he moves upwards to more sitting position, “Are you for real?”

“Why?” Namjoon asks, his mouth slightly open as he looks at Yoongi, waiting for answers.

Yoongi shuts his laptop, laying it aside, knowing he will probably have a hard time explaining Namjoon he remembers something wrong, “He didn’t see us do anything like that.”

Namjoon furrows his brows in full confusion, head moving backward, making his second chin appear, “I heard him say it.”

“No,” Yoongi says coldly. “He was laughing because he caught us kissing.”

“That’s it?” He asks in disbelief, becoming even more confused when Yoongi nods, “We are still laughing at you hiding like preschoolers?”

Yoongi opens his mouth to whine once again how they aren’t hiding, but he just likes it private but Namjoon beats him, “And sperm drinking?” He asks, impatient.

 “No sperm drinking that night.”

Namjoon points his finger at Yoongi, “So there was sperm drinking!”

Yoongi gets up from the bed, rushing to push Namjoon out and go back to work, “Why are you all this childish?” he asks Namjoon who laughs at him, holding onto the door to prevent Yoongi from getting rid of him by pushing him out.

“Says the one who doesn’t kiss his boyfriend in front of us,” Namjoon says, letting go of the door and walking away, leaving Yoongi standing there baffled.

What Namjoon said to him that afternoon stuck to him like a burr and it keeps on bugging him. Sure, Namjoon wasn’t serious and didn’t mean to make Yoongi’s thoughts a mess, but it happened.

Yoongi had this talk with Jimin multiple times and he knows how annoyed Jimin gets whenever Yoongi asks him why he doesn’t mind the lack of public display of emotions. But after Namjoon basically pointed out he is acting like a child, he can’t shake it off.

He starts to see couples everywhere, kissing, hugging, being in their small world, not bothered by people around them and it makes him wonder - why is he so fixated on the rest of the world when he has Jimin in his arms? Why is it so weird for him to kiss Jimin at a bus stop on a rainy day even if he really wants to?

Yoongi can’t argue with Jimin’s point, there is something thrilling in hiding, in secret kisses and he is grateful that Jimin seems to enjoy it even if they do that only because Yoongi is shy. Yoongi was always more on the shy side, like to stand in the back and just enjoy his life quietly. But he also likes it when people know that Jimin is his boyfriend, which was a debate at the beginning of their relationship.

He will never forget the awful feeling his friends awaken in him when they made him sit through a long talk about how he shouldn’t be ashamed of being gay, or afraid of it. Yoongi was only happy that Jimin wasn’t there but still, was Jimin thinking that Yoongi is ashamed of him? He surely wasn’t.

But Jimin didn’t think like that, he was angrier at their friends, he was mad that they got such an idea planted in Yoongi’s brain The problem was quickly resolved and they went back into their warm cuddling under Yoongi’s blanket, but this time it somehow bothers Yoongi more and he knows no amount of reassurance from Jimin will mute it.

Yoongi’s mind wanders years ahead to a wedding he would love to take with Jimin, a proposal he would want to make romantic and surely not in his room with doors locked. How will he kiss Jimin sweetly after they will exchange their vows if he can’t seem to be able to leave a kiss on Jimin’s cheek if he knows that anyone is watching?

He is freaking out.

🌣

Jimin still can’t believe that he can hold Min Yoongi’s big, veiny hand as they walk down the street. He has been crushing on the older since the beginning of the fucking universe (that’s a serious exaggeration it’s been two years, maybe a little more) and here he is now, allowed to publicly gush over him. If somebody would tell him that the cute guy he stared at on his first day of University will be his boyfriend, he would laugh.

Even more, he didn’t think they would even ever meet, but they somehow did. Jimin isn’t sure how this happens, one minute he meets Taehyung and the next he is standing in a circle on a corridor, the handsome black-haired man standing right in front of him. He wasn’t ignoring Jimin but he also wasn’t paying too much attention to him, other than a quick exchange of names.

Jimin wasn’t expecting much from this one encounter but soon he had a whole group of friends when he was hoping to even make one friend at University.

Yoongi was cool but he was way more than this. He had this warm energy, soft moves and cute habits that were dragging Jimin further into falling for him. He was truly hoping that nobody can see how much he was into one of his friends. As time went on Yoongi became more and more open, spending time with Jimin alone and yes, each time Jimin’s hands were sweating the whole time. Something deep down made him hoping that Yoongi might like him back.

He decided to get himself together and confess the night of his nineteen birthday. The rest of the group was pretty blunt when confronting Jimin about his crush on Yoongi. They were telling him to confess for a while before Jimin finally agreed with them. The truth needs to come out, no matter the outcome.

Yoongi looked shocked and almost shy as he listened to Jimin’s confession, his eyes growing wider and wider. Jimin’s hands were shaking, sweating and the further into his confession he went the more he feared the answer. Yoongi liking him back was such a shock it didn’t even register in his brain at first, he just turned around ready to run away back into the pub to drink his sadness and embarrassment away.

But it did happen, Yoongi actually told him that he has feelings for Jimin as well and life was nothing but amazing since then. It actually has been a while, two hundred and fifty-four days to be specific since they got together.

And still, Jimin can’t get over some things he found out about Yoongi after they got together. For example how shy Yoongi is.

Yes, the Min Yoongi, who Jimin was so afraid to confess to, happen to be even shyer than Jimin is. It’s cute, Jimin loves to fluster his boyfriend with the simplest things. Yoongi can be confident when he wants to be but he can get very shy easily, especially about things like displaying physical contact in public spaces.

It doesn’t have to be in the middle of the city, it can be just them and their friends and that’s enough to make Yoongi shy away from Jimin’s touch. It’s not really like Jimin minds it, he really doesn’t. Jimin, in general, loves affection and being close but he can survive without hugging Yoongi when they are with their friends.

But there are times when they don’t have time to see each other and they meet only at the end of the week when their whole friends’ group is meeting. In those instances, it’s hard for Jimin not to get too touchy because if you would ask Jimin what’s his favorite thing about Yoongi he would immediately answer that it’s the way Yoongi kisses him. And when he misses his boyfriend he wants the kisses even more.

The way Yoongi kisses him makes him feel precious, loved but also hot all over. Yoongi’s hands on Jimin’s body just shows how much Yoongi means when he says that he loves Jimin, that he thinks Jimin is beautiful. Jimin feels like he is flying whenever Yoongi gives him even a mere peck on the lips.

But they don’t kiss in front of their friends, Yoongi feels too shy and awkward to do it, especially after they once saw Jimin give him a peck and they went all crazy, teasing Yoongi about it for days. It was kinda funny, Yoongi was getting all red but Jimin also felt bad for him. Since then Jimin is more careful, always looking around hoping for an opportunity to kiss Yoongi.

So public kissing is not an option because Yoongi is just shy, hugs can be okay, there are even days when it’s Yoongi who doesn’t wanna let Jimin go. Holding hands is more than okay, their hands are like glued together most of the time.

Then how do they kiss if they are out with people but haven’t seen each other for a while? They sneak around to kiss. Jimin is nineteen and his boyfriend is twenty, and they sneak around like kids during recess. They are at University now. Never before has Jimin had to sneak around to get a kiss but he doesn’t mind. It actually adds something to it, a rush of adrenaline.

They aren’t studying in the same department, Jimin is studying law (he wonders daily why did he think it would be a good idea) and Yoongi is studying architecture. But them not studying in the same building doesn’t matter to Jimin, he wants his morning kiss no matter what. And he does get it.

It’s silly but he is always giggling when he turns the corner into the dead corridor where Yoongi is already waiting for him, biting his lips and trying to contain his smile.

“Come here,” Yoongi says, clearly trying to look annoyed.

Jimin jogs over, throwing his arms around the older’s neck, still giggling, “Hi, hyung.”

Yoongi holds Jimin close by his waist, puts his hand on Jimin’s cheek and gives him a quick but loud peck on the lips. Jimin smiles, his stomach fluttering with butterflies. He loves the way Yoongi feels and smells, his smooth voice and soft eyes.

“Morning.” he murmurs into Jimin’s lips, diving in for more open mouth kiss, making Jimin’s legs tremble.

“It’s already 1 PM.” Jimin teases, as Yoongi looks back where Jimin came from, always making sure nobody is coming.

“Not my fault my class starts late on Tuesdays.” Yoongi pouts, leaning for another kiss.

Jimin coos at his boyfriend, hugging him tightly, “Tomorrow we will meet at 8 AM, don’t be sad hyungie.”

Yoongi hums, swaying them from side to side and Jimin basks in the attention like a cat in the sun, smiling in the crock on Yoongi’s neck.

“Hey,” He says after a while. Yoongi hums in response, “Wanna make out?”

Yoongi groans, pulling away and readjusting his backpack, his face red, “You are a little demon.”

Even if he says things like this Jimin can see the light blush on his cheeks and the way he looks into the corridor, to make sure nobody will see them making out. He knows that Yoongi loves making out as much as Jimin does but it’s almost never happen in a public place. Today Yoongi looks at him with determination as he nods.

Jimin wasn’t expecting yes for an answer. “That’s a new one,” Jimin says, mouth slightly open, eyes wide open.

Yoongi huffs, pulling Jimin closer, looking focused and determined. In seconds Jimin is pushed against a wall laughing and pulling Yoongi closer. Jimin’s heart is hammering as Yoongi kisses him, his tongue teasing Jimin’s bottom lip. He sighs into the kiss, trying to somehow get Yoongi closer than he already is.

Jimin keeps his hands fisted in Yoongi’s sweatshirt, his zipper digging into his palms. He knows that a corridor isn’t the right place to put his hands under Yoongi’s shirt but it’s something he always likes to do, simply to touch Yoongi’s skin under his fingers. Yoongi grins into the kiss when Jimin’s hand wander’s up Yoongi’s chest. Jimin’s breath stutters when Yoongi slows down the kiss, exploring Jimin’s mouth.

“Too much?” Yoongi asks, kissing Jimin again, his lips slowly glistering over Jimin’s, his hands on Jimin’s waist teasing barely under the hem of his shirt.

Jimin just makes a sound of disagreement, not wanting to stop kissing his boyfriend even for a second, wanting to savor this moment. His heart is hammering, the confidence with which Yoongi slides their tongues drives him crazy. It’s getting too much very quickly and Jimin starts to think that skipping class to make out is a good idea when they hear voices.

Yoongi freezes, pulling away slightly, looking to the side to check if anyone sees them. Jimin can’t stop a giggle when he realizes how red Yoongi got. It makes him feel warm with fondness

“Someone’s coming.” Yoongi states. They stay in silence for a moment but there is no sound indicating that there is a person heading in their direction.

Jimin throws Yoongi a teasing glance, smirking as Yoongi shrugs, taking a step back, “I thought I heard someone.” Yoongi says, scratching his neck.

Jimin shakes his head, taking Yoongi’s hand into his and intertwining their fingers, “Always so jumpy.” He pulls on Yoongi’s hand, “You broke the mood.”

Yoongi’s hands feel nice in Jimin’s smaller one, it makes him feel warm and fuzzy inside. It’s the only thing that doesn’t make Yoongi extremely shy, he seems to like it even more than Jimin.

It didn’t take Jimin long to realize that Yoongi likes to hold hands. Jimin knows that he wants to show Jimin that he wants him by his side and the people around that they are more than friends. Very cute. Jimin likes to look at Yoongi whenever he is clearly trying to nonchalantly show somebody their linked hands.

Jimin takes the lead, swaying their hands between them as they walk out of the department.

“Shouldn’t I be the one walking you to the class?” Yoongi asks.

Jimin smiles to himself, knowing well that Yoongi loves being walked to class, loves his hand held, cheeks kissed and tummy rubbed. He simply shakes his head, squeezing Yoongi’s hand and bumping their shoulders.

They part ways in front of Yoongi’s lecture hall with soft smiles and a promise to meet later. Jimin runs all the way back to his building with a big smile on his face.

Taehyung rolls his eyes as soon as Jimin enters the class with a huge smile on his face.

“Where did you make out today?” He asks with a bored expression on his face.

Jimin throws his friend an angry look as he sits next to him, pulling out his notebook. Their friends love to tease them, mainly because they know how Yoongi always gets but it doesn’t work with Jimin. His boyfriend might be shy and wants to keep their physical contact just between the two of them but Jimin doesn’t mind it.

“Why are you always so curious?” He asks. Taehyung looks at him as Jimin just asked him the most obvious question. And for the most part, yes he did. Since Jimin met Taehyung he has learned to overshare with his best friend and roommate, “He pinned me to the wall and I was ready to get hard when somebody spoke too loud and it ended.” He says way too quickly.

Taehyung throws him unbelieving stare, “Yeah, that sounds like him.”

Jimin bits on his lip, “It doesn’t.” He says, more to himself. Taehyung nods to that, “But he did it.” Jimin assures Taehyung who just raises an eyebrow at him.

Jimin zones out, not even realizing when the professor enters the lecture hall or what is the subject of today’s lecture. He keeps his eyes glued to the whiteboard, not really following that’s being written on it.

He is trying to understand what just happened in that corridor. Yoongi isn’t this bold with affection until he is sure all possible ways of the entrance is locked. Sure, they kiss in this corridor often but never like this, it’s too easy for them to get caught there.

Jimin means it when he says that he doesn’t mind how shy Yoongi is about physical contact. Sure, when they first met Jimin saw him as some kind of a bad boy but the more time he spent with Yoongi the more he saw how far from the truth his first impression was.

Yoongi doesn’t speak about his feelings with many people but if you are lucky enough and he opens up to you; Listen because he always says smart things. It’s impressive how much Yoongi can open when he wants to, how well he can choose words to express exactly how he feels. Yoongi knows the value of words, no wonder he chooses them so carefully.

It’s exactly how their first kiss was - careful. It didn’t happen the same night Jimin has confessed, it actually took a while.

At first, Jimin was very confused, unaware of Yoongi’s shy attitude towards the public display of affection

They have been meeting for around three weeks, just the two of them. They were doing it before but now there was some weight to it and Jimin thought that they were dates. He was scared to name their hanging out dates out loud because even if Yoongi said he liked him back, there wasn’t much happening between them.

Most of the time they were just meeting in Yoongi’s room and spent most of the time talking. Sometimes they would go out for a meal but nothing special, yet it was enough for Jimin to smile for hours after he was back in his room. Jimin was happy with it, all that really mattered was that Yoongi was there with him and that there isn’t any awkward silence between them.

But after a while of just hand holding as they were walking down the street, and Yoongi not seeing, or ignoring, Jimin’s attempts at taking the first step as they were standing in front of his door started to bother Jimin. He simply started to worry that Yoongi has changed his mind on them, that he was being quietly friendzoned but allowed to hold Yoongi’s hand so he wouldn’t feel sad.

He had two options, he either could ask Yoongi if everything is okay or he just could just try over and over again and hope for the best. Jimin being the reasonable person he is decided to simply ask Yoongi if something has changed between them.

What Jimin wasn’t expecting when he touched upon this subject was the pure confusion mixed with embarrassment on Yoongi’s face.

They were in Yoongi’s room, Jimin was laying on the rug, talking while glancing at Yoongi from time to time, mainly looking at the ceiling, feeling too shy to just look him in the eye.

“Did I say something wrong?” Jimin asked carefully as he realized how pale Yoongi got suddenly. “Oh!” His heart picked up anxiously, “I took something wrong, right?” Yoongi’s silence was just making him sure he did take something wrong. “I’m sorry, I just- I didn’t take you as somebody who would hold my hand platonically.”

“That’s not it.” Yoongi cut into Jimin’s speech.

They looked at each other in silence for a moment. both waiting for the other to speak up.

“Oh, God,” Yoongi whined, hiding his face in the mattress.

“What?” Jimin asked, sitting up to see Yoongi better. “What is it?”

“It’s just- Okay,” Yoongi mumbled, sitting up as well. “Don’t laugh at me.”

Jimin nodded, eyes glued to how red Yoongi’s face is getting all of the sudden.

“When we say goodbye,” He started slowly, scratching his neck. “We do it in a public place.” Jimin nodded along, brows furrowed.” And I just don’t like when people see me get, you know, like very close-”

“You don’t like people watching you kiss?” Jimin asked, wanting to know if he is getting it right.

Yoongi nodded, avoiding Jimin’s gaze.

“Are you shy?” Jimin asked softly, wanting to scream at how cute Yoongi looked like all flustered. He has never seen the older act like this.

“I guess?”

Jimin hummed, squinting his eyes at Yoongi, “So it’s not about you friendzoning me?” Yoongi shook his head in denial. “Or that you never kissed anyone.” Yoongi rolled his eyes.

“I kissed people before.” He said in his defense.

Jimin glanced at him with a smirk, “So,” He shuffled on his butt closed to the bed. “Now we are alone.”

Yoongi laid back on his stomach, looking at Jimin with pure resignation on his face, “You are a brat.”

“Hyung, I want a kiss! I thought we liked each other.” Jimin whined, pouting cutely to get his point across.

Yoongi moved so his head and shoulders are closer to Jimin, waving his over. Jimin could see a glister of nervousness in his eyes as he moved closer, putting a soft hand on Yoongi’s cheek. He ran his thumb over the apple of Yoongi’s cheek, making the older smile.

“We don’t have to if you don’t want to,” Jimin assured him, closing his eyes as Yoongi leaned closer. “I’m not in a rush.”

Jimin could feel Yoongi’s words on his skin as he whispers, “But I really want to.”

Jimin will never forget the silent gasp that left his lips when Yoongi’s lips touched him. It felt electric. Yoongi rather than deepening the kiss kept on giving Jimin soft, little pecks that made his stomach flutter. He couldn’t stop his smile, making Yoongi laugh quietly between kisses.

Jimin hummed with satisfaction as Yoongi pressed their lips more firmly together. The kiss was moving forward slowly as they were getting used to the taste of each other. Jimin felt overwhelmed in the best possible way. It surely felt better than any kiss Jimin has ever experienced and there wasn’t even a hint of a tongue.

It felt special, though. Yoongi was taking his time and Jimin didn’t mind that.

“Okay,” Yoongi said, giving Jimin one last chased kiss. “Enough for now?”

Jimin wasn’t so sure it was enough for him but he nodded along nonetheless, making Yoongi chuckle. “Don’t wanna spoil my boyfriend.”

At that Jimin’s heart almost jumped out of his chest. Boyfriend. They were officially boyfriends. Jimin was so hazed by the kiss that he didn’t respond, he only nodded with a lazy smile on his face.

Before Jimin was done daydreaming about his boyfriend, reliving their first kiss the class was over and the professor was out of there quicker than anyone could reach him to ask any questions. Jimin wiped out a stupid grin off his face, looking around in shock. He didn’t note a single thing and he needs those notes.

“Tae,” He says sweetly, collecting his things.

Taehyung rolls his eyes, “Yeah, I’ll share my notes with you.”

“You are my savior,” Jimin says, walking backward, wanting to reunite with Yoongi as soon as possible.

Jimin used to give side looks those couples who are stuck to each other, meeting up after one class as if they didn’t see each other in years. But now he became one of those people and Yoongi, even if he doesn’t show it physically, is on board with him. Often Jimin will get impatient messages from Yoongi when he takes too long to get to the lounge area or the little square between their department if the weather is good.

“There is a wall behind you,” Taehyung says with an unimpressed tone, getting his backpack on.

Jimin jumps back as he hits the wall, “Sorry!” He almost screams turning around. “Oh, wall.”

Taehyung pulls him to the door, “I told you but the only thing that you can see or hear is Yoongi hyung.”

“Not true! I’m as excited to see you!” Jimin says, looking around to see if Yoongi is here as soon as they step out into the hallway.

Taehyung turns Jimin to where Yoongi is standing, looking at Jimin like a fool in love. Taehyung rolls his eyes, “Yeah, maybe when we weren’t roommates.”

“I’m the happiest when I wake up and you are there!” Jimin points out, grabbing Taehyung’s hand, “You are my soulmate and I love you with all of my heart.”

“You always say it when you eat my cornflakes.” Taehyung throws him a suspicious look, resting his arms on his chest, “Hi, hyung.” He turns to Yoongi then back to Jimin. “I’m watching you, Park Jimin.”

Jimin and Yoongi watch as Taehyung walks away, throwing Jimin sharp gaze over his shoulder from time to time until he turns the corner for his next class.

“You did something bad again?” Yoongi asks, looking at Taehyung, his arm sneaking around Jimin’s waist.

Jimin pouts, leaning into Yoongi’s side, “Hyung! I didn’t do anything!”

Jimin keeps quiet as they slowly walk back to Yoongi’s place to spend some time alone. His unusual behavior really bothers him, he is scared one of their friends’ had a weird talk with Yoongi again, trying to push him into something he might not be comfortable with.

Yoongi doesn’t seem to be different than his usual self, chatting and laughing at his own jokes as they walk down the street. Yet, Jimin can’t shake off the feeling that something is off. It might be overdramatic, to assume something is wrong just because your boyfriends kissed you, but Jimin starts to worry.

With days it becomes more and more suspicious. Yoongi could be just his normal self, blushing and not kissing Jimin until he is sure they are alone but then he can also be more open to kissing in spaces that seem more open, for them at least.

Jimin is used to just teasing Yoongi and getting a shy no and he knows he will get a no. This is just something he likes to do and Yoongi truly doesn’t mind. However, sometimes Jimin will just joke about kissing and Yoongi will actually pull him in for a kiss.

Like now. They are out with their friends, walking on old train tracks, enjoying a warm day. Yoongi looks really good like this, very soft and his brown hair has a nice, warm red tone under the sun. Jimin can’t stop staring at him as they balance on the train tracks, holding hands. The normal cheesy stuff couples do.

“Yoonie,” Jimin says, tugging on his lower lip.

Yoongi hums in question, eyes closed, a delicate wind tossing his hair around.

“I want a kiss.” He almost whispers.

The corners of Yoongi’s lips tug upwards slightly as he opens his eyes, giving Jimin a warm smile. He tugs on Jimin’s hand, making him slip off the rusted track. He looks ahead of them, at their friends, who are just a few steps ahead, talking loudly, poking fun at each other.

“You want a kiss?” Yoongi asks, his tone much more teasing than Jimin would have expected.

Jimin doesn’t understand why he feels that his cheeks got hot all of a sudden. He nods, making Yoongi giggle softly.

Yoongi takes three steps backward, carefully avoiding bigger rocks and paying close attention to their friends. Jimin follows Yoongi, trying to make as little noise as possible, hoping they won’t catch them. They are almost behind a big container when Jungkook realizes they aren’t where they were just a moment ago.

“Jimin?” He calls after them, bringing the attention of everyone on them.

Yoongi freezes instantly, his grip on Jimin’s palm loosens up. Jimin deflates, knowing now they will go back and there will be no kisses for him. Then Jimin feels a much harsher tug on his hand, bringing his whole body into the move.

“Yoongi!” He screams, laughing as they keep on running down the old containers.

They take a sharp turn when the container  ends, hiding behind it. Jimin leans his back on the metal wall, trying to catch his breath. Jimin can’t stop laughing as he catches Yoongi’s eyes, smiling at him as he is trying to take even breaths.

Jimin’s breath hitches when Yoongi leans in for a kiss, hands going to Jimin’s waist. It’s messy, they breathe heavily into the kiss, breaking into giggles from time to time. The way Yoongi’s fingers push into the flesh on Jimin’s hips make his stomach swirling with lust.

The kiss gets more heated, giggles turning into deep hums and sighs. Jimin runs his hands over Yoongi’s chest, feeling his warm skin and beating heart. It speeds up when Jimin bites into Yoongi’s lower lip.

“Don’t stop.” He mutters, following after Yoongi’s lips when he breaks the kiss.

Jimin opens his eyes only when Yoongi clears his throat. Yoongi is looking at him with so much affection in his eyes Jimin wants to scream in joy.

“What?” He asks, cocking his eyebrow upwards.

Yoongi shrugs, softly pushing the hair off Jimin’s forehead, “Nothing, just enjoying my boyfriend.”

Jimin falls back into the wall of the container, letting out a small whine, “Yoonie.”

Yoongi laughs, swooning in for a soft kiss, making Jimin’s head spin. Just as Jimin pulls him back for another kiss they hear footsteps on the rocks, clearly coming in their direction. Yoongi doesn’t stop kissing Jimin, teasing his lips with the tip of his tongue even when the steps become louder.

“Somebody’s coming.” Jimin is barely able to murmur when he feels Yoongi’s tongue on his lips even as he speaks.

Namjoon knocks on the side of the container before he turns the corner, sending them an awkward smile when he sees Yoongi’s arms around Jimin’s waist.

“Hey, we wanna go to eat.” He points vaguely at where their friends must be. “Are you guys joining us or?” He stands. there, scratching his neck.

Yoongi rolls his eyes, “Couldn’t you just yell at us?” He throws Jimin a grin, “We were kinda busy.”

Jimin’s eyes grow wide, just like Namjoon’s. He swats at Yoongi’s shoulder, “Yoongi!”

“Ah, sorry?” Namjoon says, slowly backing out.

“We will go.” Yoongi says, pulling away with Jimin, “You broke the mood anyway.”

There is a playful smile on Yoongi’s face as he follows Namjoon. Jimin is left standing there, speechless. He snaps out of it, quickly rushing after Yoongi. Yoongi turns on his heels when he hears Jimin behind him, looking all smug with his hands in his front pockets, huge smile and teeth biting into his bottom lip.

Jimin is so confused with Yoongi’s actions but he can’t lie, it feels nice to hide less, even if sporadically. He has no idea why Yoongi is acting like this and he knows they probably should talk about it.

Things progress more and more and Jimin can’t find a good enough opportunity, or so he tells himself, to talk with Yoongi. He is worried that talking about it might push Yoongi back into his shell. It’s very selfish of him but he likes when Yoongi makes his heart race not only when they are locked in their four walls.

It all changes on the night they all decide to go out to a club. It’s not often when all of them can afford and have time so obviously, they are excited.

The warm-up started at Yoongi’s, Namjoon’s and Seokjin’s but after a couple of bottles, it switched to the rooftop of the apartment building they are living in. It’s a nice place, there is a couch, a couple of old chairs, a small table, and a cute garden.

Jimin sits on the cold concrete, not really caring for the outfit he so thoughtfully picked this afternoon. They talk and drink more, laughing and playing some card game just Namjoon understands at the small beaten up table.

Yoongi’s hand is on Jimin, seeking his warmth at all times. It makes Jimin feel warm and fuzzy, or maybe that’s the alcohol effect. Jimin follows Yoongi’s hand when it goes up and down his thigh. Yoongi catches Jimin’s hand, threading their fingers together.

Jimin tries his best to suppress his smile. What he doesn’t expect is for Yoongi to bring their linked hands to his lips, placing a sweet kiss on the back of Jimin’s palm, making everyone around them scream.

“Yoongi!” Seokjin screams, clapping.

“Oh!” Taehyung and Jungkook laugh, dancing.

Hoseok laughs, his face red, weirdly shy about what he just witnessed and Namjoon just smiles, shaking his head. This made Jimin feel warm, shy and very happy and this time he has no doubt it’s because of Yoongi.

“Guys!” Jimin whines, falling flat onto the concrete, feeling weirdly shy about such a small gesture.

He looks at Yoongi, whose face is flushed red but a big smile on his face. He squeezes Jimin’s hand, laughing with embarrassment.

“Yoongi!” Hoseok says in an impressed tone, “What got into you lately?” He tilts his head to the side, making everyone laugh again.

Yoongi’s shoulder shakes as he laughs, a big gummy smile on his face, “I don’t know.” He says under his breath. Jimin’s laughter dies down, eyes focused on Yoongi, his heart still beating a little more frantic with the lingering feeling of Yoongi’s lips on his skin still present.

Hoseok is right and everyone can see it, things are different.

Jimin sits back up, giving Yoongi a soft kiss and looks around, worrying his bottom lip between his teeth. He wonders if there is somebody sitting in this circle who knows what pushed Yoongi into changing his behavior. He worries it wasn’t his own decision, that somebody played a role in guilting him to change.

Soon those worries are lost in cheap wine, loud conversation and trying to focus on walking straight. Yoongi is always close to him, stumbling just as much as Jimin, laughing loudly and singing, his cheeks flushed red in the most beautiful way possible.

The bouncer doesn’t pay them much attention, already used to people in a state worse than their trying to get into the club. The music is loud and the bass shakes the floor, sending vibrations through Jimin’s body. Out of habit, he reaches for Yoongi’s hand, not wanting to get lost in the crowd.

Tables are full of girls looking at the dance floor like hawks, trying to find somebody who will join them, probably only so they can drink for free. The bar is packed, guys and girls calling for bartender’s attention from every side of it.

They find a free table at the very back, empty glasses still sitting on top of it. Seokjin moves everything to the side, acting like it’s his own place but nobody is surprised. They fall into a debate on the best drink to buy, or maybe even a bottle but Jimin doesn’t listen.

He sits with his cheek in his palm, elbow resting on the table, fully focused on Yoongi. He looks very pretty with colorful lights hitting his face, his light brown shirt nicely showing off his shoulders, one button undone. Jimin can’t stop himself from reaching out, unbuttoning on more, he likes how Yoongi looks when you can see a hint of his chest, it sends fire through his veins.

Yoongi is sucked into the conversation happening at the table, eyes glued to Seokjin who argues his point while waving his hands around. His hand sneaks on Jimin’s knee, squeezing it and Jimin takes it as permission.

Softly, he traces his fingers over Yoongi’s collarbone, his hand going under the material of the shirt. Jimin sighs at the touch. It’s not much but it doesn’t have to be much with Yoongi. Being with him taught him the importance of being allowed to touch somebody as amazing and beautiful as Yoongi.

Yoongi leans towards him, still listening to the heated discussion about alcohol, “Are you bored?” He says, throwing Jimin a quick glance.

Jimin shrugs, giving him a pouty smile, “Not really.” He says, giving Yoongi’s sternum a light scratch.

Yoongi laughs softly, putting his hand on top of Jimin’s, keeping it under his shirt, “What’s on your mind?”

“You.” Jimin smiles.

Yoongi nods, humming with a cocky smile, “Good.” Moving his face closer, their noses touching, “I like being on your mind.”

Jimin has no time to respond before Yoongi places a very quick kiss, so light Jimin isn’t sure if their lips even met. Yoongi’s face gets all red and he looks around the table, checking if somebody saw them.

“Yoongi,” Jimin says breathlessly.

Yoongi winks at him, pulling away but putting his hand on the back of Jimin’s neck, massaging it just the way he enjoys it. The alcohol is wearing off of Jimin, his friends are still fighting over buying shots or just buying a whole bottle, counting on their phones what’s better for their wallets.

The music is louder, Jimin feels like it got louder over time and he wants to go to the dance floor. He never was one of those who enjoyed sitting at the table and drinking. Jimin likes to drink fast and get to the fun while the alcohol slowly takes over the control. He doesn’t like to go to a club just to sit and talk.

He catches Taehyung attention and nods his head towards the dance floor. Taehyung takes a moment to think about it, nudging Jungkook. Soon they are moving out of the booth, leaving the rest to figure out what they will drink. Jimin has to walk over Yoongi with the limited space between tables and seats.

Yoongi lets Jimin move, keeping his hands on his hips, squeezing them a little tighter, pulling Jimin a little closer. Jimin stays there for a second, his knees on either side of the seat, holding onto Yoongi’s shoulders. It’s a small thing but it makes Jimin’s stomach heat up with lust.

The music DJ is playing isn’t really Jimin’s taste so he focuses solely on the rhythm, on the quick bass that makes him excited. They don’t really focus on moves, letting their bodies to move on their own accord.

It doesn’t take long for the rest of their friends to join them with Namjoon walking past them with a scowl and standing in the mess of the people at the back. Hoseok joins their rhythm easily while Seokjin and Yoongi do their usual, goof around, making all of them laugh.

Jimin knows Yoongi can dance, he remembers well when Yoongi asked him to slow dance for the first time. He was ready to be stepped on and love every single second of it but Yoongi surprised him, keeping the rhythm, taking every step right. Jimin was as happy back then, slowly swaying from side to side in Yoongi’s arms as he is now, looking at him twerk with a big smile on his face.

Yoongi smoothly slides his arm around Jimin’s waist, pulling him closer with, “You come here often?”

Jimin blinks away the tears from his eyes, trying his best to calm down, “No. Should I start?” He asks back casually, throwing his arms around Yoongi’s neck.

Yoongi shakes his head, pressing his forehead to Jimin’s, “Not really, it’s kinda boring.”

“With me, it won’t be.” Jimin smiles sweetly, his gaze flickering to Yoongi’s lips.

He feels sparks between them, something that doesn’t happen so often. There is this flirty mood, the fire in Yoongi’s touch that makes it all seem so much more exciting. It’s not like it’s not exciting usually or that Jimin doesn’t feel the flames between them. It’s simply that Yoongi isn’t like this usually, that anything sexual between them is calm and soft, progressing naturally.

He never really flirted with Yoongi and had him flirt back. Before he knew Yoongi liked him he was simply scared, later when things were progressing Yoongi wasn’t the best at catching when Jimin was trying something.

Tonight Yoongi seems very different. He holds Jimi, squeezing and pulling in a way that suggests just one thing. Yoongi glances and smiles at him in a way that makes his head spin, his hormones going wild.

Yoongi smiles at him, pulling him closer, “My bedroom is pretty boring too.”

Jimin throws his head back, laughing loudly, “You are crazy.”

Even that doesn’t stop the tension between them. His heart is constantly speeding, his breath stuttering whenever Yoongi comes a little closer. Their friends seem to register the weird change of mood, making Yoongi shy with a little bit of teasing before they leave them to themselves.

The tension starts to bother Jimin, cumulating into frustration. He never liked to be teased but he especially doesn’t like it with Yoongi. He knows the middle of the club isn’t a good place to get even a kiss, even with the new boldness of Yoongi. He can feel it by the way Yoongi’s lips are millimeters away from his but never meeting.

Yoongi throws him a questioning gaze, clearly seeing there is something on Jimin’s mind. For a moment Jimin battles with himself. He really wants Yoongi to take him back home but there is a more important question, one he should ask a while ago. He knows it will most likely break the mood but it’s important. He cares for Yoongi’s comfort than his sexual desires.

He plays with the collar of Yoongi’s shirt, widening the gap to show off Yoongi’s chest more. Yoongi holds him close to himself with two arms around his waist. Jimin has no idea how to ask this, hot to now make it seem like it’s something that bothers him.

“Can we go to your place then?” Jimin asks, deciding to leave the subject for when they are alone.

Yoongi looks a little surprised but he nods, already pulling Jimin off the dance floor, in the direction of the exit. Jimin has to stop him, laughing at his rush.

“We have to tell the others.” He screams over the music when Yoongi throws him a questioning gaze.

Yoongi doesn’t look so happy about it but follows Jimin anyway with a sad pout on his face. Their friends are all over the place but thankfully Namjoon is back at the table, looking at the bottle of vodka, completely zoned out.

“Joonie Hyung!” Jimin screams, waving to him to get his attention, which doesn’t work.

They have to walk up to the table and just then Namjoon comes back to earth, “Wanna drink with me?”

Jimin shakes his head, “We just wanted to let you know that we are leaving.” He says, linking his and Yoongi’s hands and lifting them to show Namjoon. “Okay?”

Namjoon furrows his eyebrows, “We got here not too long ago.” He whines.

Jimin leans closer, hoping Yoongi won’t hear him over the music, “I want to talk with Yoongi. I think something is wrong.”

Namjoon looks confused, looking between both of them, “Good luck?”

Jimin sends him a tight smile, “Tell the others.”

Namjoon nods, waving at them as they move into the direction of the exit. Yoongi seems to be in a rush to get out of there.

Getting a taxi isn’t hard, the night is still young. Jimin tries his best to not let himself get lost in Yoongi’s small, teasing touches and murmured compliments that make him blush. The whole way to Yoongi’s place is an inner monologue with himself, trying to stop himself from jumping on Yoongi as soon as they will be alone.

Jimin knows that if he puts it off longer it will become harder to talk about it.

Yoongi is all over Jimin as soon as they enter the dark apartment. Immediately Jimin loses all will to talk, he just wants Yoongi close, as close as possible. Yoongi kisses Jimin in a way that makes his head spin. It takes everything in Jimin to pull away from Yoongi, to take a step back.

“Wait, wait,” He mumbles quickly, taking a deep breath.

Yoongi nods, running a hand through his hair, gulping loudly, “Why?”

Jimin fans himself with both hands, waiting for his brain to start working properly again, “I just- I wanted to talk to you about something.”

Yoongi looks nervous and Jimin isn’t surprised, he would be too if Yoongi would say something like this. They walk to Yoongi’s room calmly. Jimin turns on the lamp on the nightstand, not wanting to break the calm atmosphere by turning on the harsh, cold lightbulb.

“What do you wanna talk about?” Yoongi asks, visibly trying to look as relaxed as possible, laying on his side.

Jimin sits facing him. He still doesn’t know how to word his question so he can only hope Yoongi won’t take it the wrong way.

“Yoongi,” Yoongi hums, smiling at Jimin. “Why are you acting like this lately?” He asks, frustration clear in his voice.

Yoongi knits his brows together, “What do you mean?”

Jimin sighs loudly, “I don’t know- No.” He shakes his head, “I know. God, this is a mess.”

Yoongi keeps looking at him confused, “Jimin, calm down.” He says gently. “Just tell me what made you feel like it.”

Jimin nods, biting on his bottom lip, “You started to be more touchy? Like, even tonight!” He rubs his eyes, frustrated with the lack of comprehensive sentences coming out of him. “You kissed me in front of everyone.”

“Does it bother you?” Yoongi asks, opening his palm and Jimin grabs it immediately, laying their linked hands on the bed.

Jimin huffs, “No? It’s just- You are not like this.”

“If it doesn’t bother you, what’s the problem?”

Jimin opens and closes his mouth, trying to find a way to put his worries into a sentence, “I don’t want you to push yourself to do things for me.”

Yoongi just looks at him for a long moment, softly caressing patterns with his thumb into the back of Jimin’s hand.

“I really don’t want you to take the wrong way,” Jimin says, swallowing thickly. There is a growing gull in his throat, making it hard to speak, ringing him close to tears. “ I’m just worried it wasn’t your decision, that you are pushing yourself to do things you don’t want to.”

“You worry too much.” Yoongi murmurs. “Yeah, the trigger wasn’t exactly just me thinking in a shower but it pushed me to think about it in another light.”

Jimin glares at him, already ready to fight whoever made Yoongi feel uneasy in any way, “Who and what did they tell you?”

Yoongi huffs, rolling his eyes, “Don’t act like I’m eight and somebody said my shoes are ugly.” Jimin giggles, “It wasn’t like the last time. Namjoon just said that I’m the one acting childish when I accused him of it.”

Jimin waits, giving Yoongi time to finish speaking.

“It just nudged me into thinking that maybe I’m a little immature about it all and maybe I could start making myself comfortable instead of avoiding it.”

“Yoonie,” Jimin whines, “You don’t have to do that.”

“But I want,” He assures Jimin. “It’s much deeper, you know? I think about us in the future and I hope you do too.” Jimin nods feverishly, making Yoongi chuckle. “Good. Because I thought about things like our wedding.”

Jimin’s eyes snap open, his heart picking up the pace, butterflies waking up in his stomach, “Wedding?”

Yoongi hits Jimin’s leg lightly, “Don’t look at me like that, I’m not proposing.”

Jimin laughs, his face becoming hot, “I know!” He says, his voice going higher at the end.

“I just wanna enjoy us,” Yoongi says quietly, looking at their linked hands. “I really liked the tension today and that small kiss at the table? I thought my heart will explode.”

Jimin smiles at him softly, reaching out to cares Yoongi’s cheek, ‘Why are you this cute?”

“Hey! Don’t call me cute when I’m talking about sexual tension.” He pouts.

Jimin laughs again, throwing his body over Yoongi’s hugging him to himself, “I’m sorry, my sexy beast.”

They lay in silence, enjoying each other’s presence. Jimin wasn’t sure about the outcome of this conversation but he is glad he asked. If Yoongi wants this he will do everything possible to help him get comfortable.

“I really wanted to kiss you at the club.” Yoongi murmurs, his chest vibrating under Jimin’s cheek.

Jimin hums, “I could tell.”

“Next time I will,” Yoongi says confidently, hugging Jimin tighter.

Jimin lifts himself enough to be face to face with Yoongi, “Why don’t you kiss me now?”

Yoongi laughs out loud but he kisses Jimin right after, wiping the pout off his face.

Now, knowing that Yoongi is doing his best to get out of his comfort zone Jimin feels more aware of the small gestures that weren’t there before and he tries his best to appreciate them, to let Yoongi know that he likes it. Sometimes Yoongi looks unsure like he doesn’t know if he can kiss Jimin.

Sometimes Yoongi goes back into full shyness but the next day he is back with new determination. It’s clearly very important to him so Jimin does his best to support him.

The teasing from their friends dies down as soon as it’s starting to become more normal, and maybe after some harsh talks from Jimin. It doesn’t take much time for Yoongi to become more bold, especially when their friends start to get annoyed at them being too touchy. Yoongi seems to enjoy annoying them and often laughs that they need to pay for teasing him.

“Yah!” Seokjin says loudly, clapping his hands. “Stop it! I can’t hear the movie.” He almost screams then makes kissing sounds. “That’s enough!”

Yoongi rolls his eyes.

They are sitting on the floor, backs leaning on the sofa. Yoongi has his arm around Jimin’s shoulders. They are exchanging small kisses through the whole movie, some lingering for a little longer, their lips disconnecting with a sound. Jimin is giggling each time, hiding his head in Yoongi’s shoulder, which is probably more disturbing than the actual kissing.

“You became so shameless, Min Yoongi,” Jungkook says, trying his best to sound like he is disapproving.

“I don’t have peace even here.” Taehyung whispers, loud enough for everyone to hear. “Wherever I go, they are there.”

Jimin rolls his eyes, “Don’t act like you weren’t barging into my room knowing damn well we were there.”

“But it was funny! Now?” Taehyung shakes his head, sadness in his eyes, “There is no fun. I’m afraid that one day you will ask me to watch you suck his balls.”

Namjoon stands up, “Yup, that’s it for me for tonight! I’ll go hide in my room.”

Seokjin looks at him with puppy eyes, “Can I join?”

Hoseok almost chokes on his popcorn, eyes finally snapping away from the TV. Taehyung pats him on his back harshly a couple of times, “You see, Hobi almost died.”

“I hate you all,” Yoongi whines, reaching for his beer. “I’m just trying to enjoy an evening with my boyfriend.”

“And what are we?” Seokjin says in a high-pitched voice. “Cats looking at you both fuck because you didn’t close the door?”

Jimin scrunches his face, “That’s graphic.”

“Jimin,” He points his finger at Jimin, his attention snapping back to Namjoon when he leaves the room. “Wait! I don’t want to stay.”

They all stay quiet until they can hear the door to Namjoon’s room close. The second there is a click they all look over each other.

“Can you skip back?” Jungkook asks, “I think I’m missing something.”

“They gonna fuck, right?” Taehyung asks with an excited smile on his face.

“Why are you asking?” Yoongi asks, “Wanna go in there without knocking.”

“Okay, Hyung! That was uncalled for.” Taehyung says, clearly offended.

Jungkook laughs loudly while Hoseok tries to get him to tell him where exactly he stopped watching. Jimin melts into the couch, looking at Yoongi’s smug smile. He is really happy to have Yoongi. He is happy and proud to see him this comfortable, jabbing back at his friends instead of shying away.

He is the happiest that Yoongi wanted to make changes to himself for himself and that he let Jimin be by his side all of this time. He still owns a big thank you to their friends for pushing them into confessing, even if their relationship could have started a little smoother.

Yoongi catches Jimin staring and smiles at him, softly pressing his index finger onto Jimin’s nose, “What are you smiling at?”

“I love you,” Jimin says softly, smiling so widely ha can barely see Yoongi.
