A powerful being, that had been leading the hidden Army of Morgoth in secret, had finally emerged as the Fallen Istari, Saruman.
Saruman had been building his army at the fortresses of Isengard, and Mordor, in Middle Earth.
Saruman also had found, and stolen, the Orb of Agamotto, and he had come to possess the Darkhold as well.
Saruman had learned from the Darkhold that if he could locate the Dark Lord's One Ring of Power, he could summon the first Sauron back to Arda.
Saruman had also used the Darkhold to learn how to be able to communicate with The Endless.
Saruman would gather the remaining Deviants, Dark Elves, and corrupted Men- to find the One Ring of Power, and to return the Dark Lord to Arda.
Gaea, whom now had taken the guise of the Elven Queen, Galadriel, joined with the strongest Istari, Gandalf, to gather the last of the Children of Eru against Saruman.
They gathered their army by partnering with the remaining leaders of the Last Alliance: Thranduil of Mirkwood (Elven), King Kull or Numenor (Numenoreans), and King Aragorn of Men (Men).
The One Ring of Power was eventually destroyed, by a group of warriors known as, The Fellowship.
As was destroyed the Orb of Agamotto.
The Darkhold would again be lost for eons.
Saruman would suffer the same fate as his predecessors, and he was banished to Apokolips.
Galadriel, and Gandalf, had used their combined powers to banish Saruman.
The Battle of the Many Armies destroyed most of the landmass known as Middle Earth.
After the banishing of Saruman, the remaining Elves would seclude themselves in the forests of Mirkwood.
The Numenoreans would then isolate Numenor from the rest of Arda.
Men, who had suffered the worst casualties in the battle, were left nearly extinct. The survivors of Men were scattered across Arda.
A few of the remaining Men on Arda would eventually fall victim to manipulations of The Endless.
No longer wanting to directly influence events of Arda, amd believing that their presence was the cause of the continuing efforts of evil, Galadriel and Gandalf would create a new realm above Arda- where they could still keep watch over the remaining Children of Eru. This realm would become known as Asgard.
In this new realm, Gandalf decided to take a new name, Odin. Galadriel also took a new name, and would be known as, Friga.
Odin, and Friga, would eventually birth children.
This new realm would become known as, Asgard- and the offspring of Odin and Friga became known as, the Asgardians.
