Work Text:
When Gavin stopped the motorbike, you didn’t move still. You were excited about his ‘surprise’, and he had asked you not to look where he was taking you. Instead, you kept your face pressed against his back as your arms wrapped around him from behind.
“Are your eyes still closed?” He asked you over his shoulder.
“Yup” You nodded, feeling how he stood from the bike.
“Okay” Gavin took your hand, guiding you off your seat.
As soon as you were standing, you felt warm hands against your eyes. You smiled at the thought that he didn’t want you to peek. The two of you walked together until a bit later, Gavin stopped.
“Are we here?” You curiously asked, earning an affirmative hum from him.
Gavin removed his hands from your eyes and rested one against the small of your back instead. You blinked a few times while you adjusted to the light again. When you did and actually saw where you were, you gasped in awe.
“The whole city!” You exclaimed, loving the view from up there. “It’s so beautiful!”
“You like it?” Gavin tenderly smiled, that one you had only seen him dedicate you.
“Yeah, I love it!” To reinforce your words, you leaned against him. “Thanks, Gav”
He laughed a little, so you looked up at him. Gavin shrugged to your silent question.
“No one really calls me like that, I like it”
“Minor calls you Gav…”
“I like it coming from you”
You chuckled, averting your gaze to fix it back on the amazing view. There, leaning against Gavin and feeling his warm touch, you were happy. Gavin was smiling, but his eyes weren’t focused on the breathteaking view. They were focused on you as you watched it in wonder.
