   Summary

   In 851 Erwin Smith's operations come to an abrupt end as he is taken into custody as a political prisoner. Hanji Zoë is dismissed from her commanding position. Levi and Krista are MIA. The Survey Corps loses independence and scouts are suspended from active duty. For two consecutive years the Survey Corps' ranks are closed for new recruits.
   Now it's 853. The war with the Titans continues. The interactions between all three branches of military are full of tension and mutual animosity. Jean gets new recruits under his command, there's another expedition in the near future, and freedom of mankind is at stake once more.
