After the defeat of the Wild Hunt, all Geralt wants to do is retire to Toussaint and live the rest of his days in peace and luxury with Yennefer – but it seems the mistakes of his past are intent on coming back to haunt him. A rash decision from years back leads to unexpected repercussions, and Geralt soon finds himself challenged with a situation he never thought he would have to face.
