“Hey Jojo” they awkwardly call for their boyfriend, while they cuddle together on the couch.
You two just arrived today. You were staying in Italy for a week. Joseph wanted to show you all the great places he has been to, mentioning his training grounds, beautiful architecture and a good friend he wanted to introduce you to.
“Yeah?” Joseph answered tiredly, clearly exhausted after a long flight.
“Do you think I am a bad person?” came the quiet question.
“What? Absolutely not. Why such question suddenly? Did something happen?” he asked, now fully turning his attention to his s/o.
“Ah,well… it’s nothing really, Jojo” they tried not to worry him too much.
“Babe, please tell me what’s bothering you” Joseph insisted further.
“Well, some of my friends are acting a little bit weird. After I helped them and we decided to meet up, but they kinda ignored me. I don’t know. Maybe my help wasn’t enough or something? I don’t know” his s/o explained.
“Has this happened before? AND be honest with me, darling” Joseph was now directly facing them.
“Yeah…” They reluctantly told him.
“Babe, you know, sometimes you gotta be strict with shitty people like these. You are way too nice to them. And I am worried about you. I do not like the way they treat you; this isn’t right.” Joseph’s tone became serious as he tightened his grip around them.
“I… do not know, is it really that bad?” they hesitated.
“They do not deserve you… You know what? How about I introduce you to my friends? I always wanted you to meet Smokey, it’s been a while since I visited him…” Jojo said, smiling and remembering his close friend fondly.
“And I will also introduce you to Caesarino~ this week. But please, do not succumb to his so called ‘charms’ or any stories he would like to tell you…” Joseph said chuckling.
“Why of course, I wouldn’t trade my perfect boyfriend for anyone~” they flirtingly answered, teasing their boyfriend.
“You won’t find such a treasure anywhere~” he flirted back, then continuing “But really, if you’ll ever feel or find yourself in similar situations with people treating you like that, please tell me. I don’t want to waste your energy and time on them. I’d rather you spend it with people who love you… especially me” Jojo smirked kissing their cheek.
“I will, Jojo” they answered, melting into his warm embrace.
