Summary
“Can I.. touch you?” Waterboy asked, his voice small. How could someone so big basically squeak every time he spoke?
If Robert was well, which he wasn’t, he’d start thinking about what to do, how this could affect his relationship with Waterboy, what the fuck would happen to him if anyone found out, he could lose his job or worse his entire reputation, not that it was even good to begin with. But again, he wasn’t sane, to say the least, so all his mind could even think to say was a low breathy “Please,” borderline a whine, but he couldn’t care less at this point.
-
Robert accidentally mixed an aphrodisiac into his smoothie. Luckily for him, Waterboy is there to help.

Summary
Alex and Shane aren’t dating — they just live in a small town and there’s not much else to do over the winter. And Shane is totally unloveable, obviously. And Alex just wants to experiment with guys, especially one who’s a hundred pounds heavier than he is.
So they’re definitely not dating, and it’s definitely not a big deal.

Summary
“I don’t believe you,” said Jinu, and then, low and scathing, “What if I decided to replace you? Why should I keep around someone who endangers my entire plan?”
Abby’s pulse skipped in his throat. He knew Jinu was just trying to frighten him into compliance, but it was still an evocative threat. “I don’t,” he began slowly. “Think you can do that.”
“Is that right?” Jinu’s voice was glacial, his expression hardened beyond anything Abby had ever seen. Whatever whisper of compassion still existed in him had been extinguished by the cruelty of Gwi-Ma’s correction, at least for the moment. A recalibration of his morals - remember what you are.
Abby makes a choice that brings down the reputation of the Saja Boys; Gwi-Ma is furious, and Jinu is the one left to correct his behaviour.

Summary
Abby couldn’t figure out the purpose of knots. Okay, sure, they locked you to your partner; very nice, very intimate. But what was the point, otherwise? What was the biological imperative? He'd heard that it might be to increase the potential for fertilisation - but why would they need that when humans already bred like rabbits (which, notably, don't have a knot on their penises)? Was it some useless holdout from evolution, like wisdom teeth or the appendix?
Jinu's knot lasts far too long, and Abby has complaints - which are vindicated when they get unexpected visitors.
