Summary
The rich Lan family are known for their museum of cultivation, however, one day the YiLing Patriarch's demonic cultivation notes are stolen causing the Lan family to hire hunters who LWJ aren't fond of. LWJ is paired allowed with the hunter WWX to try and get the demonic cultivation notes back. Through their adventure on finding the notes, LWJ learns that perhaps hunters aren't as bad as he actually thought they were. In the end, however, their journey comes to a close when it turns out that JWY, the son of the family WWX was adopted into had stolen the notes due to the familiarity he felt from it. As LWJ watches JWY and WWX squabble JYL and LWJ have a talk about their dreams and why LWJ became a hunter due to JYL not being notified that LWJ himself was not a hunter. LWJ, however, replies to her that he is looking for a boy in his memories with the warmest and brightest smile in the world that was taken in by a woman from the hunter association dressed in purple when he was a child. It's the beginning of a new adventure.
