"So, you mean to tell me, that you awkwardly stalked a cute alpha, who offered & even helped you get back home. Not to mention, carried a majority of your stuff like a true gentleman, complemented your pups & single parenting skills, explicitly told you to call him if you ever needed help, & you didn't even get his number." Jimin's friend, Taehyung, recapped.
"NO! I didn't stalk him," Jimin twiddled his fingers, "I just happened to make awkward eye contact with him..." The omega then turns back to his cooking.
"Minnie, that's not the point! The point is that you let a HOT alpha slip through your fingers, even though he clearly showed an interest in you. Honestly, I'm disappointed in you." Taehyung dramatically places his head in his hands & sighs.
"Well maybe he meant it as a joke, or you know, he said that to be nice?"
"Uhh huhh, sure~ That confidence in your voice is really proving your point. Just admit it Minnie, you've developed an interest for that alpha~" Taehyung teases.
Jimin pauses his task at hand (preparing breakfast), & turns to face the other omega. He knows this is Taehyung's way of riling him up, & as always, he falls for it. You'd think that after the many years of friendship, Jimin would learn to ignore it, but here he is, currently ready to defend himself, while spilling something that will ultimately embarrass him & strengthen Taehyung's argument.
"You know that I can burn your food right now." Jimin responds with instead.
"Minnie has a crush! Minnie has a crush!" Taehyung sing-songs. "That's okay if you burn my food, I'll just get little Kai to share his with me. Afterall, I am his favorite uncle."
"Speaking of Kai, could you go see if he's up, & get Anya while your at it."
"Yes sir!" Taehyung salutes & heads in the direction of Kai's room.
Jimin has been friends with Taehyung since high school. Jimin was new to the area, & the other omega happily volunteered to get him acclimated to the school, & even the town. From there, they became fast friends, going so far to declare each other soulmates. (If you asked Jimin if they were brothers, he'd say "yes".)
Taehyung has been there, even through Jimin's hardest times. Jimin could honestly, never ask for a better friend, considering all his previous "friends" left, & were disgusted in him when he had to break the news of why he couldn't continue college (Kai was conceived). Taehyung, though disappointed in the alpha Jimin was with, was ecstatic to hear that he was going to become an uncle. He was also the one to comfort Jimin when he left said alpha.
After the incident with Kai's father, Taehyung always did his best to assist Jimin with Kai. The omega had tried setting Jimin up to go on dates, but after each date ended mostly in empty promises, he let Jimin do as he pleases, but still supporting. It's that time, Jimin met Anya's father & after that relationship ended with tears & the conception of Anya, Taehyung became more concerned for Jimin, but still looked to the brightside that he was to be an uncle of two. He still did try to encourage Jimin to go on dates, in the hopes of finding someone who'd be kind & help him, but after a couple dates ended in more empty promises due to finding out that Jimin had Kai, & was carrying his ex's pup, Taehyung vowed to protect Jimin & his pups, & only give words of encouragement if he saw a potential happy future.
Jimin finishes preparing breakfast & places out the plates & chopsticks. The sound of footsteps comes from the hallway. He looks up to see Kai rubbing the sleep from his eyes & Taehyung, who has an awake Anya in his hands.
"Breakfast is ready." Jimin announces.
Kai walks over to his seat, Jimin helps him up, while Taehyung places Anya in the highchair. She gives a little smile & waves. The omegas coo at her actions.
"Aww, she is such a little sweetheart! Honestly Min, you got lucky with her. She has been less trouble compared to that rascal over there." At Taehyung's attention, Kai perks up.
"No, I'm not rascal. I'm Kai." Kai pouts.
"Aww, you look just like your Papa when he pouts."
"No I don't!" Kai crosses his arms at that.
"See, a little rascal indeed." Taehyung grins triumphantly.
"Alright, alright children. There is no fighting at the table. It's breakfast time, so eat up." Jimin intervenes.
"Yes Papa." Kai replies, then digs into his food.
"Tae, could you feed Anya, please."
"Indeed I can. I'd do anything for this cutie, unlike little rascal over there." Taehyung reaches for the baby food & begins to imitate airplane noises, to which Anya happily responds to.
"HEY! I'm not Rascal, you meanie-head." Kai sticks out his tongue at the omega.
"Kai." Jimin warns.
"Yes you are~" Taehyung sticks his tongue out back.
"TAEHYUNG! DON'T ENCOURAGE HIM." Jimin scolds. "I swear, you're like my unofficial third child."
"But I'm your favorite child." Taehyung gives the omega big puppy eyes.
"No, Anya is. Now finish your breakfast or we will never be able to go out today."
"Yes Papa." Kai & Taehyung say in unison.

After breakfast is finished, & everyone cleans up, Jimin & Taehyung gather the pups, & head out for their "Sunday in the City", where they just go around the city, doing things like going to the park, shopping, catching up.
Taehyung doesn't live far from Jimin, but due to juggling his classes & job, he isn't able to visit often. He usually gets weekends off, but Saturdays are mostly spent finishing up work, making Sunday his only true free day. Thus, "Sunday in the City" was established, so the two omegas can spend quality time together, & Taehyung can spend time with his niece & nephew.
Though the November cold can be harsh, that day just happened to be beautiful, so the omegas decide to head to the park. They make their way to the playground, Taehyung carrying Anya's carrier & Jimin holding Kai's hand. As it comes into view, Kai bounds for the swings & the omegas set up on a nearby table.
"So I don't have any classes tomorrow, & was wondering if I could take the pups?" Taehyung questions.
"Really? What about your job?" Jimin asks.
"Oh, I wasn't scheduled for tomorrow, so I guess free day, though I do need the money. It's fine though because if it means I can spend more time with my babies, " Taehyung coos at Anya, who smiles back, "then I am happy to have a day off."
"Alright then, just don't do stupid things. I don't need to come home with Kai's hand stuck in a jar & Anya stuck in a tree.
Taehyung gasps. "Who do you take me for!?"
"The guy who once 'got stuck in a tree' even though you could touch the ground. Not to mention that one time you almost got your hand stuck in a jar."
"First of all, I was drunk in the tree, & can promise that this will be a kid friendly day. Second, almost is the key word; I ALMOST got my hand stuck. Kai's hands are small, I'm very sure he can evade getting stuck in a jar." Taehyung defends.
Jimin giggles at his reaction. "I know, I know. I was just messing with you. If I didn't trust you with my pup's, I would've blatantly declined. I'd be very grateful if you could watch them. My normal babysitter has been sick, & I haven't found a replacement."
"You hear that Anya! You get to spend time with the best uncle in the world tomorrow."
At Taehyung's attention, Anya reaches out her hands, a signal asking to be held. The omega abides to the request, pulling Anya out of her carrier, with her blanket, & holds her close, to protect her from the cold. She nuzzles into him, familiar with Taehyung's honey scent. Jimin smiles at the interaction, knowing that it's one of Taehyung's dreams to start a family. He is happy that he can help the omega gain experience & practice for when he does become a father.
"You know, they can spend the night with you too, if you want." Jimin supplies.
"Perfect! Kai & I need to have a rematch on the one game. I swear, that rascal cheated."
"I did not cheat! You just suck!" The two omegas hear Kai scream from the playground.
"Wow! Your son is kind of scary. It's like he has super hearing powers. I don't remember being that good at hearing when I was three." Taehyung says flabbergasted.
"You know, Kai is normally a quiet kid. He's only like this when you're around. What are you teaching my pup?" Jimin raises his eyebrow.
"How DARE you accuse me of such a thing!" Taehyung fake scoffs.
"Papa! Papa!" Both omegas look to see Kai walking up to the table. "Can we go get ice cream?"
"Only you'd want ice cream on a cold day." Taehyung comments.
"You ate it in the cold too." Kai fires back.
"You got me there. Say, how'd you like to spend the night at uncle Taetae's?" Taehyung questions.
"REALLY! &, Anya too?" Kai asks.
"Anya already agreed, right Anya?" Anya smiles & reaches for Taehyung's face.
"Well, now that that's settled, why don't we get that ice cream-" Jimin is interupted by Kai excitedly cheering. "After, we get food." Jimin finishes.
Kai looks dejected at his papa's words. He still goes to hold his papa's hand as Taehyung places Anya back into her carrier. Once she's settled, the group continues their "Sunday in the City", & return back to Jimin's to prepare an overnight bag for the pups.

The night is calm & silent for Jimin. With his pups in Taehyung's hands, the omega was able to get ready for bed earlier. He decides to make an alarm to wake up a bit later, since he doesn't need to tend to his pups in the morning.
Just as the omega is about to lay down, he gets a text from Taehyung, a picture of him & the pups, all happy & with paint streaks on their cheeks. "Good night, Minnie!!" Is the caption.
He replies with a "Good night" back, & smiles as he falls asleep.

Jimin wakes up to the feeling of the sun; warm & bright, caressing his skin. He feels so content, he could rest for five more minutes.
WAIT...
Jimin jumps up to look at the time only to realize, he is late. Really late, or not late, but if he doesn't move fast enough, he will be late to his job. (He made the alarm to wake up later, but never actually set it.)
Like that, he is zooming around his house, getting himself ready, & as presentable as possible. The omega makes a quick breakfast, & is sad to know that he won't have time to pick up coffee on the way.
Hopefully this day won't be too troublesome he thinks.
He makes it to work with only three minutes to spare (bless.) His coworkers greet him, & he returns the pleasantries.
The omega walks over to his station & opens his counter to assist people with their money; deposits, withdraws, & the like.
The day goes by smoothly & Jimin's about to go on break. He decides that he'll help two more customers, then clock out for lunch.
The omega finishes up with the current customer & calls for the next person. As he does so, he drops the previous customers check & bends down to pick it up.
"Ah, sorry for the wait..." Jimin is suddenly hit by a familiar smell, & just as he comes back up...
"Jimin?"
Hazelnut & cream.
"Jungkook?"
