“Hey, Jeongguk-ah? Is that your teacher over there-"
Taehyung starts to point over to where Jeongguk's teacher was when he is interrupted by Jeongguk himself.
“How do you knowed my name?”
Taehyung smiles, “I heard when you told-““Are you a child pretater?”
Taehyung blinks at him, unsure of what he was saying, until it clicks that he was asking if Taehyung was a child predator.
“What?”Jeongguk narrows his large eyes at him as he stands up.

Summary
He moves to grab the notebook, but halfway there he decides that actions speak louder than words. He gathers Jeongguk up into a hug. Tucks his head against his shoulder and pulls him as close as he can. Underneath his hold the younger boy's muscles lock up. He stands stiff, unmoving as Taehyung squeezes him tight. Jeongguk’s breath is spreading across his ears as he puffs and pants.
Taehyung doesn’t mind waiting. He decides right then and there that he’ll always wait for Jeongguk.

Jeongguk isn't a normal kid. It takes Taehyung two decades to prove to him that that's okay.
