Poe opens his eyes and stares up at Finn, still straining against the two Stormtroopers flanking him. His jaw is slack, his eyes wet. They haven’t laid a finger on him. But he’s staring at Poe like he’s the only one in that corridor, like he’s borne witness to every ounce of pain Poe has ever felt and will ever feel. It sends a shiver straight down his back.
The Captain looks back and forth between the two. Poe swears she chuckles. “How interesting.”
