“I do not.” Katsuki protested loudly. He got up. The rest of the room was eyeing him warily. “Really, anyone would believe you were his bully rather than his boyfriend. And you still use that terrible nickname, calling him useless all the time. It’s abuse.” The room gasped as Uraraka spit words at Bakugou.
Though he didn’t show it, Katsuki was stung to his core.
Abuse.
The word was dirty and gross, it reminded him of his grandfather and his mother’s slaps and the therapy. “Watch your words round face. You’ve really done it now fucker.” She couldn’t know, she didn’t. Nobody really knew what that word meant. The rational voice, fondly dubbed the Deku voice, spoke at the back of his mind. Round face cut him off before he could do anything. “Huh, you’re gonna hurt me for protecting my friend? Are you that desperate to have him for yourself?” Katsuki wavered.
Was he really that bad… and the nickname.. he’d have to think this over.
