Summary
Far in the uninhabited mountain of Yiling, there was a place called Burial Mounds, where the living would become dead, and the dead would become undead. It was known there was only one man living in the cave there, the descendant of the demon himself.
They called him the Yiling Patriarch.
The tales and the lores told people at the foot of the mountain to stay inside their houses when the sun hid in the west, or he would come down and take them with him, to eat their hearts as the fuel of his demonic cultivation, and he would create the undead army from their bodies, to bow only under his command, to bend only under his order, to act only under the shrill resonance of his dizi.
