Work Text:

"Uhhh!!! YaoMomo! What should I do?" Ochako Uraraka mumbled out as she buried her face in the girl's pillows.

She was in quite the predicament.

"I don't wanna make things awkward between Me and Deku, but if I don't do anything, what if he thinks I don't appreciate him?" Ochako once again mumbled out with her face still resting on the girl's rather comfortable pillow.

A couple hours prior, she asked the girl if it was ok for her to ask her about "something personal".

Ochako's predicament came from the fact that tomorrow was Valentine's Day.

As such, Ochako felt obligated to gift the people she values most in her life with something.

"Hmm... Well, why don't you just get him obligation chocolates?"

Ochako turned around and stared at her with a look that said "Why would you even suggest something like that?"

Momo instinctively held her hands up in surrender.

"Gah! I already bought obligation chocolates to give to some of the girls and even for Iida!"

"Then why not do the same for Midoriya?" Momo inquired as she took a sip of her tea.

"Well... Don't tell anybody this, but I feel something different for Deku. With Iida, I'm comfortable giving him obligation chocolates because he's just a friend. With Deku, he is a friend... But maybe I want something more? I-I don't even know!" Ochako exclaimed as she once again slammed her face into the pillow.

"I mean no offense, Ochako, but your "feelings" towards Midoriya aren't all that secretive you know?" Momo stated matter-of-factly.

"I know..." Ochako mumbled out with a sigh.

In reality, she chose to ask Momo for guidance because there was no way in hell she was going to ask Mina or even Toru for it. She loved those girls like sisters but she knew that when it came to "that" topic, the two, especially the former, could not keep their mouths or their brains calm.

Mina tended to be even more meddling and Toru liked to tease.

Those two were lucky that Ochako was such a nice spirt, because otherwise, she could go all day teasing Toru about Ojiro and Mina about Kirishima.

"So, you want to get Midoriya some chocolates, but you don't want to get him obligation chocolates because you feel that those chocolates aren't enough to display your level of affection towards him?"

"Momo!" Ochako exclaimed with a red face.

"What? Am I wrong?"

With a sigh, Ochako responded.

"No..."

"Then why don't you just make him your own chocolates?"

"M-my own? But if I do that, then the whole class will know how I feel about him... Including him!"

"Trust me, the whole class probably already knows. Why don't you think Kaminari hasn't hit on you in such a long time?"

"Ugghh... You're right.."

"He hasn't hit on you because he is aware of your feelings towards Midoriya, that, and he probably doesn't want to risk his friendship with Midoriya."

"Risk? What do you mean" Ochako asked with a confused look on her face.

"Don't quote me on this, but maybe Kaminari knows that Midoriya might also harbor some secret affections for you as well?"

"Y-you think so?!?!" Ochako stammered with a red face.

"That's just my interpretation."

It had to count for something she guessed.

After all, Momo was the smartest girl in class.

"Fine... I'll make him my own chocolates..."

"Great! Then I will accompany you as well! I-I might have to make some too... Just in case." Momo stated with a light blush on her face.

Ah.

'Todoroki' Ochako guessed in her mind.

The two headed down to the dorm kitchen after receiving permission from Lunch Rush to do so.

"Ok. Now that we're here, we're gonna have to make sure we have all of our ingredients." Momo stated with authority.

After all of the ingredients had been accounted for, with a bottle of vanilla extract floating around Ochako, the two began to work.

It was just after 10:00 when the two had finished creating their homemade cookies.

With the ever-so-needed help of Lunch Rush, he was able to convince the class that the two had already eaten before them.

Unbeknownst to the class, the two were actually in the
Kitchen the same time Lunch Rush was preparing their dinner.

The man knew about their predicament so he decided to give them a small helping hand.

As the two were in the middle of creating the choclates, Ochako felt her phone ring with a buzz and picked it up from the counter to reveal she had just gotten a text.

It was from Izuku.

'Hey Uraraka! Lunch Rush told us that you and Yaoyorozu had already eaten! Are you all ok?'

With a smile, Ochako replied.

'Yeah! We already ate because he asked us to go to the supermarket for him to pick up some ingredients.'

'Ohhh... I see. But couldn't he had just had Yaoyorozu manifest the ingredients.

This was the only time Ochako ever cursed that analytical mind of his.

'Well yeah, but he probably didn't think to do that. Besides, don't you think it would be a little weird?'

'Yeah you're right. Anyways, looks like I can eat safely knowing you're safe! Make it back home safely ok?'

With her heart pounding in her chest, Ochako replied.

'We will! Thank you for checking in on us!'

'No problem!'

With that, Ochako set her phone back down and worked on finishing the chocolates once and for all.

At 10:13, Ochako checked the clock and looked at the finished product.

She knew that Momo had a talent for cooking but she herself was surprised at how her own chocolates turned out.

Taking a bite out of the piece she baked for herself for the sole purpose of taste testing, she was proud to say that it was some of the best chocolate she'd ever had.

To make sure she wasn't just being biased, she gave some for Momo to try and the other girl herself acknowledged that the chocolates were "exquisite" and "better than some of the luxury chocolates I had back on my trip to Switzerland with my family."

She didn't know about all that but she was happy to hear that her hardwork had payed off.

She was confident that it would blow Deku's taste buds out of the water.

As she walked up back to her dorm room to have a good night's rest, she set the chocolates, wrapped in custom wrapping paper thanks to Yaoyorozu, down on her bedside counter and proceeded to fall asleep.

She felt herself excited for what tomorrow had to offer.
