Izuku Midoriya, better known by his hero alias "Deku" was always perceived to be a kind and outgoijg hero who did his best to ensure the safety of as much people as possible. The main goal he had during every situation was to save as many people as possible, including his adversaries.
Izuku always tried to see the best in people, and save them from themselves. Much like he did with Todoroki during the UA Sports Festival in their first year.
Much like his mentor All-Might, Deku always strived to save people with a smile on his face. Unlike his mentor however, Deku was successful in actually being able to save villains as well. Many villains were able to turn their lives around thanks to him.
This led to Izuku being among the most respected heroes in Japan. However, as Deku would soon learn, some villains took advantage of this, and many have tried to turn his naivety against him.
Little did they know, Izuku was more than capable of snapping. He was more than capable of becoming an even deadlier opponent. He knew that the hero world was not all sunshine and rainbows, and he'd sometimes have to be able to get his hands dirty.
One For All was among the most powerful quirks in the world, and if the user desired to do so, could be used to create and leave an unprecedented amount of destruction in its wake.
One certain time, Izuku was almost motivated to do so.
If he did, the villains responsible would have been someplace way worse than a jail cell.
It was a well known fact that Deku had a "thing" with the heroine "Uravity." The two had been with each other since their first year of high school. Over six years ago.
Over time, the two turned blossoming feelings into an actual relationship. The two couldn't have been any happier. Deku thought of Ochako as the person closest to him. Even more so than his old mentor All-Might and close rival Bakugou. She was his soulmate and a dann good pro hero.
It had been a normal day, when Deku and Uravity were called in to stop a villain attack in downtown Musutafu. After successfully evacuating the civilians, the pair teamed up, which they did so well, to defeat the villains responsible in causing the uproar.
The villain's goal was to attack innocent villains and gain national notoriety, thus improving their chances of being able to work with a villain organization.
However, after their plans were foiled by Deku and Uravity, their focus changed into dealing with the pair.
Nothing would gain them more infamy and notoriety than killing two of the top heroes in Japan.
Naturally, the pair was more than capable of handling some grunts. However, the two were still outnumbered.
These villains were planning a massacre, so it made sense that they were consisted of a group of over twenty villains.
"The Next All-Might" and "The Gravity Hero" would be big money makers for them. Yet, at the moment, it didn't seem to be going too swell for the villains.
Ochako was able to kick anyone's ass. After mentoring after Gunhead and The "Rabbit Hero" Miruko, she was a tough match for anyone to beat.
She was a skilled hand-to-hand fighter and proved it to those who didn't believe her.
However, even the most seasoned heroes could be caught in a trap. After dealing with another villain, Ochako turned to face another one.
This particular villain had a sand quirk. As such, he was able to blind the young heroine by attack in her eyes with his sand.
Ochako had long since abandoned the visor she wore on her head, opting to instead wear a lighter version that held the same benefits as the other, just not with a visit.
Her choice proved to, at least during this certain situation, to be a bad one. As suddenly, she felt a sharp pain from her back, before letting out a cry of pain.
"Ochako!" Izuku cried out as she doubled over in pain, he dealt with the villain he was currently fighting and made his way towards her.
She had been stabbed in the back.
"You bastards..." He growled out with venom laced in every word.
"You'll pay..." He gritted out.
With speed never before seen, he rushed to the perpetrator before hitting him with a 100% Detroit Smash. Sending him flying and crashing through a store.
He subsequently brutalized the remaining few. Using many different combinations of his many quirks to do so.
He used "Black Whip" to quickly disarm two villains, before grabbing them and sending them flying through the air, before he sent a full power Delaware Smash their way.
He continued to obliterate every villain he saw, and was close to actually beating someone to a bloody pulp, until a weak voice uttered the words that knocked him out of his fight induced trance.
"Deku... Stop it!" Uravity screamed out.
"They're beat... So please... No more." She pleaded weakly.
"Uravity... Please be ok." He choked out.
"I'll be fine Deku... Just snap out of.. It." She said before collapsing due to her injuries.
The voice of her partner was the last thing she heard before drifting off into unconsciousness.
The next time she opened her eyes, she was in a hospital bed.
She turned to her right and saw that familiar mop of green hair that she loved so much, resting faced down on the bed.
She smiled.
It seems he fell asleep waiting for her to wake up.
"Izuku... Thank you." She whispered.
In his sleep, Izuku's face lips curved into a tiny little smile. He hoped that this would be the last time she would worry him like that.
He may be Japan's strongest hero, but even he had to have someone by his side during it. Because... What would be the point if he didn't have someone there next to him?
All he knew, was that Ochako Uraraka was safe.
And in the end, that's the only thing that matters.
