Todoroki was sitting on the couch, idly watching the chat, when Mido proclaimed his decision to sleep. He raised his eyebrow when Midoriya himself, flushed and sweating (from a workout probably) walked into the room with a tight shirt. He flopped down onto the couch next to Todoroki and leaned back, shutting his phone off. Todoroki felt his mouth gently twist into a small smile. Midoriya never let anyone see him sleep. This was apparently not the case now.
Sure enough, if Todoroki listened close enough, he could hear very faint snores coming from the lump of teenage boy on the couch. He was actually asleep. It had taken him all of three minutes to fall asleep. Vaguely wondering whether it was because he worked out so much, he draped a blanket over Midoriya’s sleeping form and settled in himself. He had to deal with the other members of 1-A, who saw Midoriya sleeping and decided the best course of action was to take hundreds of pictures, and it eventually ended in him freezing a little dome over the couch, effectively isolating himself and the sleeping teen. It was then that he heard mumbling in the little space.
“nngh, no, stop it…” His eyebrows furrowed when he looked around, and saw Midoriya fisting the blanket and turning a bit. Todoroki blinked, watching him move, before hesitantly placing his hand on Midoriya’s shoulder. The teen tensed. Todoroki withdrew, and he relaxed the tiniest bit. The mumbling went from just that to a bit louder whispering, but Todoroki still had to lean down to hear what he said.
“that idiot….. If I’d really jumped he would’ve instigated a suicide….. he needs to think about what he says…” Todoroki’s head smacked against the top of the ice dome as he shot up. Someone had told Midoriya to jump…. Someone told him to commit suicide?? His hair burst into flames, and he spent the next five minutes frantically patting it out. It still didn’t alleviate his anger, and as he melted the ice he vowed one thing:
‘The person who told Midoriya to jump will face my wrath, no matter who they are.’
