Chapter 1: Two Worlds

Once upon this same Earth, beneath the same sun. Long before you. Before the App, and the Elephant as well. Before the Wolf, the Bisson, the Wheal. Before the Mammath and the Massodon. In the time of the dinosaurs.

The dinosaurs lived in two different kinds. Some had flat teeth and ate the leafs of trees. And some had Sharp teeth for eating meat. And they prayed upon the Leaf Eaters.

Of course, this story is also about a human we all know and love. Lincoln Loud. A week has passed sense the family thought he was Bad Luck. But thanks to Lola and Luna revealing how much they cared about Lincoln, the 2 managed to put an end to the fiasco and everything was back to normal. Although Rita and Lynn Sr. have told Lynn Jr. to never threaten Lincoln with her baseball bat ever again.

It's summer vacation. And Lincoln's grandfather, Albert, is coming over to give something to him. Before the Bad Luck fiasco, Lincoln started to take an intrest on the dinosaurs. But most of friends disliked the dinosaurs. That being Liam, Rusty, Zach, and Stella.

But as for Clyde, Lincoln hasn't heard from him all summer. What was he doing?

But it didn't matter at the moment. Lincoln was sitting on the double arm chair in the family room, waiting or Albert to arrive. As he waited, he was reading his dinosaur guide book.

The dinosaur he was looking at was the Brontosaurus. For the longest time, he called it the Apatosaurus. But when it was revealed that it was a sitimon for Brontosaurus, he started calling them be that for now on.

"Hmm. Intresting." He said to himself. Until his moment was interupted be Lisa walking over.

"Greetings Brother unit." She said to him. "May I ask what that book you're reading is about?"

"Trust me Lisa. You're not the only one in this house who likes to study the dinosaurs." Lincoln replied.

"I see." Lisa said. Yet she knew that Lincoln was mostly playing video games or reading his Ace Savvy comics in his underwear. But seeing hi study is something new.

Without another word, Lisa walked back to her room while Lincoln continued his book.

Meanwhile, in a world where the dinosaurs never went extinct, it happened that the leafs began to die. The mighty beast who ruled the world was ruled in truth by the leaf. It was The Time Of Great Dying.

Despret for food, some of the dinosaur herds struck out toards the west. Searching for The Great Valley. A land that's still lush and green. It was a Journey torrid life.

It was also a march of many dangers. A T-Rex named Sharptooth stocked the herds. Waiting to seize any who strayed. The Leaf-eaters stopped only to hatch their young.

Such as a Saurolophus family who was now about to see their eggs hatch. One of them popped her head out to see the new world. She also got her arms and legs out, but was still stuck inside the egg.

Just then, a bug flew by. The young Saurolophus managed to move as she chased the bug through a log until she fell out the other side witch broke off the rest of the egg. She then followed mole that popped out of the ground until she ended up looking inside the mouth of a snapping turtle. Her mother saw that in time and grabbed her tail and moved her out of the way as the turtle snapped its mouth shut.

"Ha ha. Mama." She said.

The mother placed her down with her other children who had also hatched and gave her a nuzzle to welcome her to the family.

Many things seemed really scary to many young ones however.

A Ptranodon mother and her mate and brother were watching as her next egg was now hatching. Once the egg was broken, the hatchling looked up at his mother and uncle and father. Witch got him to shiver in fear. As the mother walked over to him, the hatchling moved away from her. Only to see how high they are and scared him some more.

The other children started to laugh at him. Except for one who was the oldest son of their parents. The oldest walked over to the hatchling witched scared him again. But he calmly said,

"Hey, it's okay to be scarred. That over there is our mother, father, and uncle. And I'm your brother."

With that said, the hatchling calmed down a bit. But he still feared all the things around him.

Some of the young seemed born without fear.

A Triceratops family watched as three of their children were running around as one of them was still in her egg, running with its feet sticking.

The egg ran into the father witch cracked it a bit. Until it ran at him again and broke the egg off. Revealing the young girl who was now free. The hatchling then rammed both of her parents to greet her love for them. Until a thunderstorm came and scarred her and the other children witch got them to hide under their father as he reached down to confert them.

Yet, even hatching could be dangerous.

A herd of three Brontosaurus'es were looking after their only egg left after the others were smashed. And it was about to hatch.

But in the shadows, an egg-stealer was watching as the Long-necks turned away. The egg was unguarded. He knew that this was his chance to get a feast on the tasty yoke.

Acting quick, the Egg-stealer leaped out of the shadows and grabbed the egg. But the mother saw him in time and knocked her head on the Egg-stealer. Making him drop the egg as it rolled down the skeleton of a Tyrannosaurus Rex. Then it fell onto the ground and then rolled over the spine of another dead dinosaur. Then down the reeds from a tree until the egg fell into a river and then down a water fall. The egg bounced a couple time until it came to a complete stop.

This was the herds only baby. Their last hope for the future. At that moment, the egg popped open and a tail moved out of it. And then the rest of the egg broke off, revealing the herds healthy baby Longneck. And they called him, Littlefoot.

"Here I am." The mother said as she lowered her head to Littlefoot.

Littlefoot was scared at first. When the mother licked him, Littlefoot tried to get away, but walking on all fours wasn't easy yet. He managed to dodge one of the licks until he felt another one.

But this time, Littlefoot wasn't afraid. He now knew who his mother is. After another lick, Littlefoot nuzzled his mother to show his love to her.

Many other creatures came out of hiding to see the new life born. Littlefoot was afraid of them. This got him to run behind his mother for safety.

"Oh don't be frightened. Come out." She said to him.

Littlefoot walked over to her foot and gave it another nuzzle. Just as the creatures got closer to him. This got him to yelp as he ran away from them until he tripped. But his mother grabbed him and lifted him up onto her back.

All the remained of his herd was his mother and grandparents. He knew them by sent, by their smail, and by their love. He knew that they would be together always.

"Now, you be careful my Littlefoot." The mother said to him.

Littlefoot now yawning, took a look at his grandparents as they looked at their new grandson. And then he went into a ball and went to sleep.

"Beautiful Littlefoot."

Back in the human world, Lincoln stopped reading for a moment. Albert should be here soon.

"Maybe some archery would help." He said as he walked to the back yard and put on gloves and guards on both of his hands and arms.

Lincoln then grabbed his bow and quiver and then pulled out an arrow and pulled his bow back. After aimed at the Target, he fired the arrow and it landed on the center.

"Bullseye!" He shouted.

Just then, an arrow was shot on the target next to his. Looking at his right. Lincoln saw Lola. She was dressed in a new outfit that looked like her Queen of Diamonds costume. Except no cape, the dress has puff sleeves, and she was wearing her normal tiara.

"Ha ha. Is archery a thing in your pageants?" He asked her.

"Don't make me laugh Lincoln. My next pageant does involve archery." Lola replied.

"Kids, Pop Pop is here." Rita called out.

"We can do some more later." Lincoln said to Lola.

With that said, the two walked back inside the house. Albert was in the family room waiting for Lincoln to arrive.

"Aha. If it isn't my lookalike." Albert said to him. "Still got snow growing on your head I see."

"Don't make me laugh." Lincoln said to him. "And what was that thing you were going to give me?"

Albert pulled out a small box and handed it to Lincoln.

"Go ahead. Open it."

Doing as he was told, Lincoln opened the box. In it was a small orange stone attached to a worn-out but still intact chain necklace.

"Ha ha. I'm not found with necklaces. But I'll wear it anyway." Lincoln said as he put it on.

"It was mine when I was your age."

As Lincoln was about to walk away, Albert stopped him.

"Oh. I almost forgot. I can't tell you much, but let's say that this stone will benefit you."

Now Lincoln was confused. What was about talking about? But it didn't matter.

Chapter 2: The wish

5 days had passed sense Lincoln got the stone from Albert. He spent his free time from his sisters by doing some archery and studying dinosaurs. Sense this time, Lincoln no longer read his comics in his underwear.

Lincoln was still not getting any response from his friends. Clyde was still not responding from his walkie-talkie or cellphone number. And the others still won't come over sense they don't find dinosaurs interesting.

Not even many of his sisters were interested in dinosaurs. Especially Lisa sense she prefers to study them by herself. Sense the whole Bad luck fiasco ended, Lola was the only one who was hanging out with him.

Speaking of Lola, her archery had been a success in the pageant. Lincoln was proud of her sense he was her pageant coach. They just now got back still with their backpacks on with food in them and still had their archery stuff on them.

Right now, he was in his room reading his dinosaur guide book. The page he was on showed the three time periods the dinosaurs lived in. Triassic, Jurassic, and Cretaceous.

Just as he finished reading, Lola entered the room with her new outfit on.

"Hey Lincoln." She said to him.

"Hey." He said back. "Least you're hanging out with me."

"What?" She asked.

"My friends. Liam, Rusty, Zach, Stella. They don't like dinosaurs so they refused to hang out with me. And Clyde, he hasn't spoken to me all summer."

Lola can see the sadness inside him. With no friends, it can be lonely. She wished that she can help but she didn't know what to do.

"I can help you with," However, she saw that Lincoln was lost in his thoughts for a moment.

5 Cold Times have passed sense Littlefoot had hatched from his egg. He can now walk and talk normally. The Time Of Great Dying was effecting the place he and his family were in. No leafs were found in the trees and no green was found at any watering holes they found. So they had to eat sticks to substain themselves.

"Mother, is this all we have to eat?" Littlefoot asked as he ate one of the sticks.

"Oh. I'm sorry my dear Littlefoot." Mother Longneck said to him. "The land has been changing. That is why we must walk as far as we can until we reach The Great Valley."

At least something is better than nothing. So Littlefoot made the best of it.

"Littlefoot. Quickly, Come here." Mother Longneck said to him as he walked over. "Look. Up there. A tree-star. It is very special."

Littlefoot giggled at the leaf Mother Longneck pulled off of the tree. The Tree-star was the Longnecks most secred food as well as it is to most of the Leaf-eaters as well.

"A tree-star." He said as he started playing with it.

"It is very special. Where we are going, there are so many of these leafs." Said Mother Longneck. "The Great Valley is filled with many green food. More than you can every eat. And more fresh cool water than you can ever drink. It is a wonderful beautiful place where we can live happily with many more of our own kind."

"Gee, when will we get there?" Littlefoot asked.

"The Bright Circle must pass over us many times. And we must follow it to each day it touches the ground."

"Have you ever seen The Great Valley?" Littlefoot asked again.

That got Mother Longneck to stop for a moment before turning to her son and said,

"No."

"Well, how do you know it's really there?"

"Somethings you see with your eyes. Others, you see with your heart."

Littlefoot sighed. "I don't understand Mother."

"You will my son. You will." She said to him.

Littlefoot was about to eat the tree-star, until he heard the sound of laughter and walked over to the bushes to see who it was.

"Littlefoot. Don't you wander too far." Mother Longneck said to him. But he didn't listen.

It was then that Littlefoot saw a family of Three-horns not too far away. He was amazed because he'd never seen other dinosaurs other than his own kind. One of them was a young girl who was playing with who Littlefoot had to believe was her father. And while the girl had only a small skinny horn on her nose, the father had a bigger horn on his own with two others on his head.

However, a flying buzzer flew by and the girl began to start chasing it. Making her smash a couple rocks it landed on. However, one of the rocks was harder than the others witch the girl couldn't smash.

"Hey!" Littlefoot called to her.

The girl didn't even hear him as she got to the buzzer and ready to attack it. However, the buzzer saw her in time and squirted a purple juice on her face. Littlefoot tried to hold back his laughter, but he couldn't help himself. But that got the girl to hear him this time and she was mad.

"What are you laughing at?!" She demanded.

Littlefoot gasped the moment he knew he was busted. He was gonna tell her he was sorry, but she already began to get ready to charge at him. So Littlefoot stepped out of the bush and got ready to charge as well.

It was then that both of them ran to each other at full speed with the girl roaring at him. However, the father saw what they were doing and ran over to them. Before they rammed each other, the father leaped in front of them. Making them both stop where they are.

Littlefoot was still gonna say he was sorry. But the father already lowered his head and growled at him. And he knew it was a warning to back off.

"Littlefoot." Mother Longneck called out. Littlefoot was about to call back, but the father was the first to speak.

"Come Cera! Three-horns never play with Longnecks!"

A Longneck? Littlefoot had never been called that before. It sounded like an insult to him.

"Littlefoot." His mother called again.

However, the father continued to growl at Littlefoot before he could even say he was sorry. The girl, who was named Cera, wasn't finished with him as she ran to his face and said,

"Three-horns never play with Longnecks! And sorry doesn't count!"

What? They don't except apologies? Littlefoot couldn't believe it.

But before he could say anything, the father grabbed Cera by her tail as Mother Longneck came did the same with him. Both of the protective grown-ups looked at each other, expecting a warning from the other. But instead, they both just walked away from each other.

"Hmm. Mother, what's a Longneck?!" Littlefoot demaned.

"Why that's what we are Dear?" Mother Longneck answered.

"Oh. Well why couldn't I play with that Three-horn? We were having fun."

"Well, we all keep to our own kind. The Three-horns, the Spike-tails, the Swimmers, the Flyers, we never do anything together."

"Why?"

"Because we're different. It's always been that way."

"Well why?"

"Oh don't worry so much. When we reach The Great Valley, there will be many Longnecks for you to play with."

Of course, Littlefoot didn't like being alone. He wished they were there now. But there was something he wished for more.

"Littlefoot?" Mother Longneck asked. "Is something else troubling you?"

"Mother. It's just that,"

"Lincoln." Lola said to him as she grabbed his arms. "Earth to Lincoln."

"Sorry." He said. "It's just,"

Then it happened. At this exact moment, two different beings from two different worlds began to say the same thing. A wish that was to come true. Both of them said,

"I wish I had a friend."

"Lincoln. You can hang out with me." Lola said to him. Until, "Uh, your neck."

"What about it?" Lincoln asked as he looked at his neck.

However, it was then that he saw that the stone on him was glowing, But before he could react, both him and Lola found themselves inside a golden light as their world vanished before their eyes.

"Don't worry." Said Mother Longneck. "You'll make lots of friends in The Great Valley."

Littlefoot still wanted to have a friend now. But before he could say anything, a bright gold light had showed up in front of the family as it lit the whole place. Many dinosaurs ran away while the Longnecks turned around to avoid the light from hurting their eyes.

But as it cleared up, Littlefoot turned back and saw something inside the light until it was gone. And then it was clear.

In front of the Longnecks are two strange beings who were out cold.

Chapter Text

"Mother, what are those things?" Littlefoot asked.

"I don't know." Mother Longneck replied.

Littlefoot then walked over to them. One of them looked like it had sand on its head and the other had something white on its own. Their skins were in many different colors. One of them had dule claws on its hands while the other didn't have any claws on its own pink hands. There were also some strange rocks on their backs and they held onto some strange sticks with vines attached to them. Not to mention the strangest feet he had ever seen.

"Are you alright?" He asked.

"Who's there?" Lincoln asked as he opened his eyes slightly. But his vishon was still it bit blurly.

"Lincoln? Where are you?" Lola asked as she also opened her eyes.

"Mother. They can talk." Said a boy who was younger than Lincoln. Might be the same age as Lola.

Both of the young Loud siblings pushed themselves up a bit to see who it was. However, when their vishion was now clear, both of them dropped their jaws. In front of them was a young Brontosaurus. And it walked over and said,

"You're awake."

"AAAHHH!" Both the Loud siblings screamed as they moved back a bit until they were sitting on the ground.

"Did I scare you?" The Brontosaurus asked.

"Dinosaur!" Both of them shouted as they pointed at him. "Dinosaur talking!"

"Don't be scared. We won't hurt you." Said an older Brontosaurus in the voice of a young woman.

Still, both of them were frightened. Both of them looked around the place. They were not in Lincoln's room any more. But a dried up forest with many dead trees and no grass.

"Hello." Said the young Brontosaurus. "Let's try again. My name is Littlefoot. And over there is my mother and grandparents. And you are?"

"Uh." Said Lincoln. "Uh...Lincoln. Lincoln Loud."

"Loud?" Littlefoot asked.

"We humans have to have last names so,"

"Hold on." Said the grandmother. "Did you say human? You're a human?"

"Uh." Said Lola.

"That's my sister. Lola. And yes we are humans."

"Well, as far as I live. Real humans." Said the grandfather. "I thought all those stories about them were only a myth."

What? They know about humans? But this is preistoric times. How can an anchent creature know what humans are? Both the young Loud siblings were shocked.

"Okay. Now I'm confused." Said Lincoln. "How do you know what humans are? And where are we?"

"Right now, we're in the middle of nowhere." Said Littlefoot. "But we're going to The Great Valley."

"Great Valley?" Lola asked.

"A land that's still filled with green food." Littlefoot explained. "You want to come with us?"

The two Loud siblings looked at each other. They knew that they had to find a way to get back home. But on the other hand, they wouldn't last long by themselves. Plus, the Brontosaurus'es knew where they were going. After thinking it through, Lola said,

"I guess we can."

"Yes!" Littlefoot cheered.

With that said, the group made their way to where they need to go.

Along the way, Littlefoot asked many questions to Lincoln and Lola.

"Hey Lincoln. Why's your head all white? And why does Lola have sand sticking on her head?"

"Oh. It's hair. We humans have hair to keep our heads from over heating in the sun. And also to look good."

"What's the sun?" Littlefoot asked.

"You know? The big orb that lights up the day."

"Oh. We call it The Bright Circle."

"You don't say." Lincoln said raising his eye up.

"And why are both your skins in many different colors?" Littlefoot asked.

"It's not skin. All humans skin is from black to peach color. But we wear clothes when we have to be out of our homes."

Lincoln showed an example by taking off his shirt.

"See?"

"I see." Said Littlefoot. "What do humans look like without all of their clothes on?"

"Trust me. You do not want to see that." Lola quickly said to him as Lincoln put his shirt back on.

"I guess. But what is that shining rock on your whist that's attached by some black vines?"

"It's a belt. And we call these shining rocks, crystals. One of many gem stones in the world. Red ones are rubies and green ones are emeralds."

"And those rocks on your backs?" Littlefoot asked again.

"Backpacks. We use them to carry stuff when we go on trips." Lincoln said as he opened his up to show what he ment.

"I see. So, what are those wired sticks for?" Littlefoot asked one more time.

"Archery." Said Lincoln. "We do that for enetament and to defend ourselves. This is a bow and these are arrows. And this is a quiver used to carry the arrows."

"How do they work?" Littlefoot asked again.

"Watch and learn."

Lincoln then pulled out an arrow from his quiver, then removed his bow from his sholder, then pulled back on the arrow. And then aimed at a tree and, fire. The arrow was shot straight to the tree as it landed with a THUNK!

"Wow." Littlefoot said amazed.

"Incredible." Said the grandparents. Just as Lincoln retreved the arrow.

As a couple minutes passed witch felt like hours, the young Loud siblings were getting tired from all that walking. Their backpacks and quivers were starting to get heavy. Littlefoot took note of that.

"Sorry." Said Lincoln. "We don't have your stamina. Man, I need to get out more othen."

"You can ride on my back." Littlefoot offered.

"But what about your leaf?" Lincoln asked.

Upon hearing that, Littlefoot knew that Lincoln did not want to ruin his tree-star. And by the looks of it, nether did Lola. So he grabbed it with his mouth and gave the Loud siblings free space to get on. Of course, as they got on, they had trouble staying on sense they didn't have anything to keep themselves stable. Once or twice they nearly slipped off him. Until they knew that they had to mount themselves on the scales. Plus, both of them were shocked that they were riding on a dinosaurs back.

"Is everything okay?" the grandmother asked.

"We're fine Grandma. Lincoln and Lola are just tired."

"We'll it's time to stop anyway." Said the grandfather. "The Bright Circle is already leaving the sky."

Of course, Lincoln and Lola knew what she was talking about this time.

Miles away from the group, a large dinosaur feared by all Leaf-eaters and Sharpteeth alike was making his way across the land. Just as he got the sent of Longnecks. Longnecks were his favorite meat. They were resting for the night.

"Rest while you can." He said in a scary voice. "For it will be the last time you'll ever rest, Because I 'Sharptooth' will tare you limb by limb until you're no more! Ha ha ha ha ha ha!"

Notes:

Uh oh. Here come trouble. Let's hope everyone will be alright.

Chapter 4: Sharptooth

I apologize for the long wait. My mind was set on Fanfiction.net for my other stories. Plus, everything going on with COVID-19 managed to distract me a couple of times. But I'm back.

No more distractions. Let's keep going.

Chapter Text

Once the moon was out, the group stopped where they were for the night. Lincoln then began to put together some sticks in a circle of rocks and started a campfire. Littlefoot was amazed how humans can control fire. Most of the time, he'd seen fire as a dangerous hazerd.

Lincoln then took this moment to explain how he and Lola got here. Sevirle times he had to stop and explain to the dinosaurs what serten objects were. Such as a house, a car, and whatever else was forgin in this world.

"And then, we woke up in front of you and you all know the rest." He said as he concluded the story.

From Littlefoot's point of view, he was quite amazed at this. He wished he can see whatever that world was.

"Now can you tell how you know what humans are?" Lincoln asked.

The grandfather then cleared his throat and said, "Well, it's been said in stories that some dinosaurs incountered these strange creatures who called themselves humans. They say that humans only come in a time of need." Lincoln leaned closer. "The stories also say that the humans travel from another world with the power of something they call, a Time Stone."

Lincoln gasped as he looked down at the stone on his neck. And it was still glowing, but slightly.

"You mean something like this?" He asked as he held it up.

"Possibly. If you two are here, then there's a chance that this is one of those stones in the stories."

Lola was shocked. They really did travel back in time. But how is it that dinosaurs can talk?

As for Lincoln, he thought about when Albert gave him the stone.

"Let's just say it'll benifit you someday."

"He...he knew about its powers." He whispered to himself.

"Well I think we had enough stories for tonight." Said the grandmother.

Agreed, the young Loud siblings were warned out. As well as Littlefoot. It was time to sleep.

(5 hours later)

Everyone was resting peacefully at the moment. Littlefoot and the Loud siblings were sleeping on his mothers back. However, the grandfather didn't know that he had a sleeping frog on his head.

But then, a dragonfly flew over witch woke the frog up. He then jumped and grabbed the dragonfly with his tong. Waking the three children as it landed in front of them and crooked revealing the remains of his dinner.

"Ew!" Lola exclaimed.

But as the frog hopped away, Littlefoot began to follow it.

"Hey Hopper, come back!" He shouted.

"Littlefoot. Wait." Lincoln shouted as he and Lola followed him.

Just then, the frog hopped down a hill into a swamp below. The young Loud siblings managed to get in front of Littlefoot in time. Just in time for something else to happen.

It was then that an angry young Triceratops leaped in front of them. Much to Lincoln's surprise. Because the Triceratops didn't exist in Littlefoot's time witch was the Cretaceous period. They existed in the Jurassic period.

"Who and what are you?!" The Triceratops demanded.

"Lincoln. And that's Lola over there. And we're humans. Who are you?"

"Hump! The name's Cera. And my dad said that humans are just a dumb Longneck myth." She answered. But when she saw Littlefoot, she dashed behind them and ran to his face. "You again?! Go away! That's my Hopper!"

"I saw him first!" Littlefoot argued.

"Well he's in my pond!" Cera argued back.

Littlefoot frowned as he followed Cera into the mucky water. However, the frog began to blow a bubble from under witch Cera popped with her horn. Then another frog did the same as Littlefoot popped that bubble with his foot. And the more did it. And then all the frogs in the swamp were playing with them.

"This is fun." Said Cera. She was having so much fun that she forgot that she and Littlefoot weren't aloud to play together.

Both the young Loud siblings watched as the two played their game. Lincoln was glad at that. But at that same time, they were upset that Cera said that humans don't exist. They were here. Why won't she believe them?

Sharptooth was now closing into a swamp. He was gonna catch some Hoppers as an apitizer before he ambushes the Longnecks.

However, he stopped the moment he got a sent of smell. The Longneck runt was away from his elders. Meaning he were vonriible. He also got the sent of a Three-horn runt. But also the sent of 2 new creatures. This sent smelled farmilier. But he couldn't put his claws on it.

"No matter." He said. "Whatever this new sent is will make a great dinner. Because I, Sharptooth, am the most powerful of all! Nothing can escape me!"

Both the young Loud siblings continued to watch Littlefoot and Cera's game. But soddenly, all of them felt vibrations on the ground. Making the game stop. Lincoln turned over to the right and saw something coming. Something bad.

It was a huge Tyrannosaurus Rex stomping its way over. Ready to eat them up.

The young dinosaurs saw it too. Just in time for Cera to shout,

"SHARPTOOTH! HEEEELP!"

"MOTHER! HELP!" Littlefoot shouted.

Lola only stood where she was. But Lincoln grabbed her arm and ran with the dinosaurs into a thorn bush.

"What are you doing?" She asked quietly. "He can't see us if we stay still."

"That theory's a myth. Tyrannosaurs have better eye sight. Even if we stay still, he can still see us."

Now Lola was shocked. She had to admit, Lincoln knew what he's talking about.

Just then, Sharptooth made an opening from the top of the bush and pocked his head through. The four frightened children quickly ducked their heads as he lowered closer. Just as he snorted hot air on them.

"I know you're in here!"

What? Lincoln heard him talk. But the others only heard roaring.

Of course, Sharptooth raised his head back up. Giving the four a chance to escape.

"Go." Littlefoot whispered.

With that said, the four began to move away from Sharptooth as they walked over to a split path.

"This way." Lincoln said as he pointed to the right path.

However, Cera shook her head and followed the path on the left side which leads to the open.

"Come back! You're going the wrong way!" Littlefoot shouted as he and the young Loud siblings went after her.

However, Sharptooth saw them leave the thorn bush and charged at them. The three ended up inside another thorn bush to get away. However, Littlefoot ended up getting caught in vines which Lincoln took note of.

"Littlefoot!" he shouted as he ran back to him.

"Go on Lincoln. Save your self."

"No. You need help." He said as he took an arrow out of his quiver.

Then Lincoln began to use the arrow head to cut the vines and free Littlefoot. However, Sharptooth was closing in.

"No!" Lincoln shouted.

Just as Sharptooth got closer, Lincoln grabbed his bow and pulled the arrow back. And then,

ZIP!

THUCK!

Bullseye! Right on Sharptooth's right eye.

Sharptooth roared in pain as he got out of the thorn bush and pulled the arrow out of his eye. But its vishion was gone. He was hath blind now.

"I should have known! Humans! That little runt will pay for that!"

Just as Littlefoot, Lincoln, and Lola rejoined Cera, Sharptooth leaped in behind them. Knocking them over as he was about to go for the kill. But then, a tail swooped over and knocked Sharptooth onto a rock.

"Mother!" Littlefoot shouted as he saw his mother. Just as he, Cera, and the young Loud Siblings run to her.

Meanwhile, Sharptooth was banging his head against the rock sense it was on his right side to get up as he smashed it to peaces.

"Run! Run!" She said to the kids.

Sharptooth had managed to get back on his feet and charge at Littlefoot's mother.

"LOOK OUT!" Lincoln shouted as he and Lola quickly pushed Littlefoot and Cera away before his mother stomped on them.

By then, the mother had dodged another attack from Sharptooth as she swang her tail on him again and knocked him onto a rock wall. Hoping he was down, she ran to rejoin the kids. Until, Sharptooth recovered and leaped into the air and landed on the mothers back. The children watched in terror as Littlefoot's mother had a good chunck of her back ripped off.

The mother managed to get Sharptooth off of her back and ran to join up with the kids. But Sharptooth wasn't giving up yet as he kept trying to bite her tail. But she kept dodging the attacks until she swang it on him one more time and knocked him down to the swamp.

"Mother!" Littlefoot called.

"Don't worry ma'am. I'll have a look at that mark." Said Lincoln. "I do hope I can help her though."

Until, the ground began to shake again. But this time, the ground was cracking up.

"EARTHSHAKE!" Cera shouted.

The kids quickly ran away from the crack before it got worse. By then, Sharptooth had recovered and returned. The kids saw him in time and ran away as fast as they can.

But this time, Sharptooth had managed to catch up with them. Until all four of them ended up on his left foot. But just as he was about to bend down to get them, the ground cracked open as hot steam had hit his face.

As that happened, the kids ended up sliding off of the foot and to the ledge. All of them held on as tight as they can. Until Sharptooth ended up sliding down as well and all four of them ended up on his tail.

"HEEEELP!" All of them cried.

"Mother!" Littlefoot called to his mother.

The four children quickly ran up the body back to the ledge as they tried to get back to the flat ground. But the falling rocks made the ledge too slippery for them to do so as Sharptooth kept trying to get them.

Until, Littlefoot's mother arrived and swang her tail on him one more time. Making him fall. The kids fall too. But Littlefoot's mother quickly grabbed him and Cera by their tails as Lincoln and Lola held onto Littlefoot's legs while Sharptooth fell down onto the underground.

Once all four of them were back on the solid earth, The humans and Longnecks quickly ran away to find Littlefoot's grandparents. Meanwhile, Cera ran away form the to find her own family.

"Daddy!"

Her father, named Topps, heard her screaming and quickly ran to find her. He ran to Littlefoot's grandparents who was also searching for him and the others. Until the earthquake got worse. A wave of rocks came and hit all the herds close by.

"Daddy!" Cera called once she found him and ran to him. Only for the ledge to brake and she turned around before she fell down the pit.

In this time of the clash of contients, a great earthquake split the land. Herds were dividided. Families were cut in two. Littlefoot was seporated from his grandparents.

Until at last, it came to a stop. One side was too high to jump to while both were too far to rach. Cera ran to the ledge to see her family.

"Cera!" Her father called to her.

"Mama! Daddy!" She called back. Cera was on one side of the divide. Her parents were on the other.

Chapter 5: On our own

Chapter Text

Rain began to fall from the clouds that night. As that happened, Littlefoot and Lincoln and Lola urged themselves on to find where Littlefoot's mother ended up after the earthquake.

"Mother?!" He called to her.

"Ma'am?!" Lincoln called as well.

By then, all three of them hopped over a small pit to continue looking.

"Ma'am! Where are you?!" Lola called too.

Until, they finally found her. She was weak and down on her belly.

"Mother!" Littlefoot shouted as he and young Loud Siblings ran to her.

"Oh no." Lincoln said to himself because the state she was in was enough to tell him that there's nothing he can do now.

"Mother." Littlefoot said sadly. "Please get up."

"I'm...not sure I can Littlefoot." She said weakly.

"Yes you can. Get up."

She tried to get up. But she ended up flopping back down to the ground. Enough to convince Littlefoot that it was over for her.

"Dear sweat Littlefoot." She said to him. "Do you remember your way to The Great Valley?"

"I guess." Said Littlefoot. "But why do I have to know? You're gonna be with me."

"I'll be with you. Even if you can't see me."

"What do you mean if I can't see you? I can always see you."

"Littlefoot. Let your heart guide you. It whispers. So listen closely."

After her final breath left her mouth, her eyes closed for the final time. Never to live again.

"Mother? Mother?"

No response. She was gone.

Lincoln looked at his bow. He knew he should have used it more than just on Sharptooth's eye. But he didn't. He just ran like the coward he is.

Lola also looked at her bow. She had a weapon. She should have used it. But no. She just ran.

By then, all three of them blamed themselves as they walked away from Littlefoot's now dead mother to get out of the storm.

By then, the trio had found a small cave for shelter. They walked alongside a small hill. Only to slip and slide down to the bottom and land on top of a rock.

"Hey."

The three of them fell off as the rock moved. Until it was revealed that it wasn't a rock at all. It was an old Scolosaurus.

"What's going on here?" He asked as he looked at their sad faces. "What's your problems? You not hurt."

"It's not fare." Said Lola.

"She should have known better. That was Sharptooth. It's all her fault." Said Littlefoot.

"All who's fault?"

"Mothers." Littlefoot answered.

"Oh. I see. I see." The Scolosaurus said now feeling sorry for them.

"Why did we wander so far from home?" Littlefoot asked.

"Why didn't we defend ourselves?" Lincoln asked as well.

"Oh it's not any of your faults. It's not your mothers fault. Now you three pay attention to old Rooter."

"But," Lola tried to say.

"It is nobodies fault. The Great Circle of Life has begun. But you see, not all of us arrive together at the end." Rooter said to them.

"But what'll I do? I miss her so much." Said Littlefoot.

"And you'll always miss her. But she'll always be with you. As long as you remember the things she tought you. In a way, you'll never be apart. For you are still part of each other."

"My tummy hurts." Littlefoot said again.

"Well that too will go in time little fella. Only in time." Rooter said before he turned to the Loud Siblings. "And if I'm not mistaken, you must be humans. I heard enough from others to know who and what they are."

"Yes." Said Lincoln.

"Your names?"

"Lincoln and this is my sister Lola."

"Both of you have an unstoppable will. You're much braver than you know. As long as you keep close to those who are closest to you, you'll find that you're strong as you're with those who are closest to your hearts."

Without another word, Rooter walked out of the cave and made more room for the trio in the spot they were at.

Once Rooter was out of site, the three settled down and went to sleep.

Chapter 6: The promise

Notes:

Whoa. I'm really going very slow with this story and I really wanna finish it. Sorry for the long wait. Let's get going now.

Chapter Text

The next morning, Lincoln walked outside as he waited for Lola and Littlefoot to wake up. As he waited, he watched some young Ptranadons close by.

One of them tried to get the berry on top of the tree. Until one of the others flew in snatched it from. A third one then flew in grabbed the berry until a forth one came and took the berry with him to the branch. All of them peeped as the last one came grabbed the berry.

By then, the ones behind the other snatched the berry until another lizard came by and grabbed the berry with its toung and ate. Displeasing the young flyers.

Until their mother came and gave each of her children of berry she kept. As they began to leave, the first one of the flyers saw Lincoln depressed. He disided to offer his berry to him. But Lincoln pushed it back.

"Keep it. I'm not hungry." He said.

The hatchling nodded as he sadly walked away.

At first, all that Lincoln could think about was Littlefoot's mother. He hardly notest his hunger and forgot about The Great Valley and that he and Lola and Littlefoot must somehow reach it and also that he and Lola still needed a way back home.

He walked back and found Lola and Littlefoot awake. All three of them walked to a T-Rex footprint and then inside of it. All three of them let their tears out as they cuddled with each other.

"Littlefoot."

The trio stopped crying as they looked up. A star shaped leaf was floating down to them. Littlefoot remembered it. It was the Tree-star his mother gave him.

They stepped out of the footprint and watched as it landed in the center. They then watched as the water on it moved into a pentigon puddle.

"Dear Littlefoot." His mothers voice said to him. "Lincoln. Lola. Do you three remember your way to The Great Valley?"

They all shook their heads no.

"Follow The Bright Circle past the great rock that looks like a Longneck and past the mountains that burn. I'll be in your hearts children. Let your hearts guide you."

Lincoln looked up. He then looked at Lola. And then to Littlefoot. He then whispered something to Lola before both of them turned to the young Bronto.

"Littlefoot." He said. "We wanna make a promise with you."

"A promise?" Littlefoot asked as he picked up the tree-star and put it on his back.

"We wanna promise you that we'll be here for you." Said Lola.

"No matter what happens. No matter what we do. Lola and I are gonna stay on your side always and forever."

Littlefoot smiled.

Until he saw something that made him smile even more,

"Mother!"

A huge shadow was seen on the rock wall from yesterday as the three ran to it.

"It's you!" Lola shouted.

"Wait!" Lincoln shouted then. "Where're you going?"

They didn't know it was Littlefoot's own shadow as it got smaller until they got to the wall. Littlefoot licked it as Lincoln and Lola hugged it. Until they realized, it wasn't Littlefoot's mother.

Then Littlefoot and Lincoln and Lola knew for sertent that they were alone. And though The Great Valley was far away and the journey there was dangerous, they will have to find their way. Or the chain of life would be broken.

The trio walked near the canyon from yesterday. As they did, Lola was starting to shiver.

"Lola?" Littlefoot asked.

"I'm fine." She said. "It's just....I....I'm afraid of hights."

"There's nothing to be scared of." Littlefoot said to her. "It's a nice view of how high you're up."

"Not to mention you can fall and your heart can stop before you hit the bottom." Lola said as she held onto Lincoln.

"Come to think of it, Lana's also scared of hights." Said Lincoln. "Clyde told me that after I helped him understand the three C's."

Just then, the three of them saw Cera heading their way.

"Cera." They said as they ran to her.

"Cera. Hello." Said Lincoln.

"What do you want?" She asked angry to see them again.

"Nothing. Where are you going?" Lincoln asked her.

"I'm going to find my own kind. They're on the other side."

"We looked all over here." Said Lola. "We can't climb up the other side."

"Maybe you can't!" Cera said as she got to Lola's face.

"Wait." Littlefoot said as Cera began to climb down a path to the underground. "We're going to The Great Valley. We could uh, help each other."

"A Three-horn does not need help from a Longneck or humans." Cera said as she kicked dirt onto their faces.

But doing so made her lose her footing as she slid to the bottom of the gorge.

"Well at least we wouldn't be alone!" Lincoln called from the top.

"Well when I find my sisters I won't be alone! So go away! Three-horns can be very dangerous! They only talk to other Three-horns, live with other Three-horns, and travel with other Three-horns!"

As Cera walked farther into the underground, Lincoln and Littlefoot turned to Lola who was farther back shaking sitting down.

"Are you that scared of hights?" Littlefoot asked.

"Yes. I am." Lola answered. "And about Cera?"

"She's won't come." Lincoln said sadly.

That was enough for Lola's fear to turn into sadness.

Littlefoot grabbed his tree-star and let the two Loud siblings onto his back as they sadly went on and followed the setting sun to find The Great Valley all on their own.

Chapter 7: Ducky and Petrie

Chapter Text

After a while, Lincoln and Lola got off of Littlefoot's back and walked beside him as they walked into a forest. Along the way, the stopped in front of a watering hole and sat down.

Not wanting his shoes on any longer, Lincoln took them off and put his feet in the water.

"Lincoln. Did you just take off the skin on your feet?" Littlefoot asked surprised.

"Those are shoes. We ware them when we have to walk a very long time."

"Oh."

Soon, he and Lola took out some of the food they had left over from Lola's pageant. A pare of granorla bars as they opened the bags and ate them.

"Is that meat?" Littlefoot asked.

"Of course not." Said Lincoln.

"But you do eat meat right?"

"Not dinosaur meat. Yuck. That'll taste really bad." Said Lincoln. And that got Littlefoot laughing.

"Very funny." Said Lola. "But it's true."

"AAAHHH! Something's got me!"

Lincoln pulled his leg out of the water as a green figuer was flung off of it and landed on the ground. After that, Lincoln then looked at what it was. It was a young Saurolophus.

"Ow that huted." The Saurolophus said in the voice of a cute little girl.

Soon, she got up and saw Littlefoot and Lincoln and Lola looking at her surprised.

"Oh. Hello." She said. But the trio was too stuned to say anything. "I said hello."

"Uh." Was all Lincoln could say at first. "That was my leg you grabbed."

"Oh I am sorry. I thought that was a rock. I did. I did. Hey. Is he a Longneck. I am a Longneck too see?" She said as she stretched her neck farther. "And I have a long tail like him."

She tried to stretch her tail farther, but it wouldn't go farther. And Littlefoot and the Loud Siblings weren't fooled by her act.

"Alright. I am not a Longneck. I am a Big-mouth."

"Big-mouth?" Lola asked.

"Their mouths are big enough for them to eat a good deal of plants." Said Lincoln. "I guess that's why they call themselves that."

"We can swim too." The Saurolophus said to them.

"Does your family live nearby?" Lola asked.

"Oh no no no. I lost them in the big earthshake."

"Oh." Said Littlefoot. "You wanna go with us?"

"Yes." She cheared. "Oh yes yes yes. I do. I do."

"Alright. But you'll have to keep up." Said Lincoln.

"I will keep up. I will."

With that said, the four made their way to follow the sun again.

"Where are we going?" The Saurolophus asked.

"To The Great Valley." Said Littlefoot. "I'm not gonna stop until I find my grandparents."

"Do you think my family went to The Great Valley too?"

"Maybe." Said Lincoln. "His mother said it's where all the herds are going."

"Oh I hope I hope I hope."

"Ahem. My name is Littlefoot."

"I'm Lincoln and this is my sister Lola."

"My name is Ducky. Yep. That is what it is. Yep yep yep."

As they walked on, Ducky began to sing as she jumped over the cracks on the ground without stepping on them. By then, Littlefoot joined in and then Lincoln and Lola did so too. They were having a lot of fun. Plus Lincoln and Lola can see that Ducky was a lot nicer than Cera was.

"Don't step on a crack or you'll fall and brake your back." Said Lincoln.

Just then, they stopped their games as they heard a growing sound.

"That was my stomach growling." Said Lola. "I don't think I had enough to eat yet."

"My stomach's growling too." Said Littlefoot as he turned to a ferm tree. "I wonder what this tastes like."

Littlefoot then grabbed on it to get a bite. But as he pulled on it, a scream was heard.

"Talking trees. You should not eat talking trees. Nope nope nope." Said Ducky.

"It's not the tree." Said Lincoln.

Just then, a shadowed figure slid down from the branch and onto Littlefoot's face. Making him scream as he let of and made the figure fling into the air as Ducky also screamed and hid behind Lincoln.

By then, the figure landed on the ground and made a hole as Ducky walked over to see what it was. It was a young Ptranedon.

"Who are you? Huh?" She asked.

"M-M-My name Petrie." He said as he climbed out.

"Petrie huh? Funny name." Said Lola.

"I...I...I fly?"

"No. You fell." Said Littlefoot.

"I fall? Oh." Petrie said as he sadly flopped to the ground.

"You can not fly?" Ducky asked. "But how did you get way up there?"

"I climb."

"But Ptanedons are supposed to be flyers. Not fallers." Said Lincoln.

"Hard thing to fly." Petrie said as he made the sound of a plain taking off and then he tried to fly but failed badly.

"I guess it is." Said Lincoln. "We can't do it."

"Nope. We can not do that alright." Said Ducky.

"You're not afraid are you?" Lincoln asked.

"Afraid? Me Flyer. Me ment to fly. Me just....no like high places."

"Hey me too." Said Lola. "Say. Do you live on that tree?"

"Live there? No. Petrie lose family in big earthshake."

"Oh." Said Lincoln. "If you want, you can come with us too."

"Oh yes. I go with you."

"Okay then." Said Littlefoot. "Let's go."

Just as they began to make their way, Lincoln began to wonder what Cera was up to.

Chapter 8: True or False

Chapter Text

Meanwhile, Cera was making her way down the pit to find way up the other side. She was still mad at Littlefoot and Lincoln and Lola. Why she couldn't stand Littlefoot being a goody goody or Lincoln being a Know It All, but of all three of them, the one who annoyed her the most was Lola. The girl with a temper like her own.

"What makes them so special?" She asked. "I don't need their help. I can find The Great Valley on my own."

Just then, she tripped and fell down a bit. But when she got to the bottom, she saw something in front of her.

"SHARPTOOTH! AAAAAHHHHH!"

Cera quickly ran behind some rocks before Sharptooth got up to attack.

However, Sharptooth didn't move at all. Getting the courage into her, Cera walked out from behind and to his face. Sharptooth didn't move an inch. He just lied there.

By then, Cera disided to have some fun. She stuck out her tong, and then she rammed him. And then again. And again. until she ran back to go at full speed.

"Not so tough now huh?!" She asked as she got ready to charge.

And then, she ran at full speed. But just as she did, Sharptooth opened his eye. But because it was his right, he didn't see Cera. However, she saw the eye open and tried to stop, but it was too late. She rammed the eye and made Sharptooth roar in pain.

Just before Sharptooth got back on his feet, Cera quickly ran back up the path she came from to find the others.

Meanwhile, Littlefoot and Lincoln and Lola and Ducky and Petrie continued to follow the sun tords The Great Valley as they made their way through the forest. Just as they did,

"Shh. Quiet." Littlefoot said as he heard a sound near by.

All of them hid behind the trees and, much to the surprise of Lincoln, a Dimetrodon, know to Littlefoot and Ducky and Petrie as a Sail-back Sharptoth, had walked by as it stuck its tong out before walking away.

"I don't get it." Lincoln said to himself. "Dinosaurs from different ears are co-existing together in one. And now I'm seeing a Dietrodon in which came before the dinosaurs. But how is all this possible?"

But then, soddenly, it hit him.

He and Lola didn't travel back in time. They were in a whole different dimension.

"The multiverse. It's real." He said again.

"Lincoln? Are you alright?" Littlefoot asked.

"I'm fine." Lincoln said as Petrie had hopped on his head. "OW! Petrie get off!"

"But you have nice soft dome head Domehead."

"My name is not Domehead! My name is Lincoln!"

"Lincoln?"

"Are you just gonna stay up there?"

"Yes."

"Well you can't! You're pulling my hair!"

"Oh. Me sorry. But what if Sharpteeth attack?"

"The one that passed us didn't find us so we're fine." Lincoln said though he just now realized that the carnivors to them were called Sharpteeth.

"Hey." Littlefoot said as Petrie tried to get ahold of his tree-star. "Don't touch my tree-star."

"It's very special to him." Said Lola.

"His mother gave it to him." Said Ducky.

"Ohh. Mother present. Very importent. I keep safes. no let nobodies touch." Petrie said as he grabbed it and then rolled it up and held it like a rifal and walked like a millitary troop.

"Oh yes Petrie." Said Ducky. "You keep safe. Yep yep yep."

"Nope nope nope." Said Lincoln as he gave the tree-star back to Littlefoot. "Not on my head! You're a Flyer! So start flying!"

Before Petrie knew it, Lincoln began to run to get him flying which encoraged the others.

"Open your wings Petrie." Said Ducky.

"You can do it Petrie." Said Lola.

"We believe in you Petrie." Said Littlefoot.

"No no! No can do this!"

"You can fly!" Lincoln shouted. "No open those skinny wings!"

"Higher Petrie!" Lola shouted. "Higher like a Flyer!"

"Danger!" Petrie shouted.

"Where Petrie?" Ducky asked.

"Up ahead!"

Before Lincoln could stop, he tripped and got caught in the ribs of a dead dinosaur over a swamp as Petrie ended up falling down in front of Lola.

"I fly?" He asked. But Lola gave him a sad look.

Lincoln sighed as he got himself down and walked out of the water before tossing the skeleton aside. But when he did, it hit someone. And then he and Lola and Littlefoot were in for a surprise.

"Cera. It's you." Said Lincoln. "What happened? Why are you so frightened?"

"Me? Frightened?" Cera asked laughing. "Why are you so frightened?"

"No we're not." Said Lola.

"Yes you were. You were running away from something."

"I was trying to get him to fly." Lincoln said as he pointed to Petrie.

"But at least you tried." Said Littlefoot.

"Well you should be frightened. I could be with the other Three-horns by now. But I chose to come back to warn you?"

"About what?" Littlefoot asked.

"I met, THE GREAT SHARPTOOTH!"

"SHARPTOOTH!" Petrie shouted as he jumped onto Lincoln's neck and choked him.

"Petrie! Need air!"

"Oh. Sorry." Petrie said as he let go and jumped onto Littlefoot's back.

"Come on Cera." Lincoln said to her. "Sharptooth is dead. We all saw him fall into those underground caves."

"And that's where he met me."

"Oh dear brave Cera." Said Ducky.

"Dear brave Cera." Said Petrie.

"Yes. I am brave."

"Sharptooth is dead." Lincoln said again. "Nobody could sirvise a fall that high."

"My father told me that Domeheads have very small brains."

Lincoln slapped his face.

"Hang on." Said Lola. "Why did you call him The Great Sharptooth?"

"Well," Littlefoot began to explain sense he knew Lincoln and Lola were not from this world. "Sharptooth was the most powerful and the most feared out of all the other Sharpteeth. Which is why many repher to him as The Great Sharptooth. But he's never with any other Sharpteeth because he always goes after us Longnecks. He can even take down a whole herd no matter how many there are. Those who had tried to stop him had ended up getting eaten."

"What?" Lincoln asked. "But we made it away from him."

Then Ducky and Petrie gasped.

"You servived an attack against Sharptooth?" Ducky asked.

"We did." Said Cera. "You should have seen me as I,"

"I know you're making that up." Said Lola.

"Are you calling my a lier?!" Cera shouted.

"You're just fibbing part of your story." Said Lincoln. "If you did meet Sharptooth then prove it."

"I will prove it." Cera said as she hopped into a wooden plank. "I was all alone with him in the dark. Just The Great Sharptooth and me. I could hear him breathing."

And then, she made breathing sounds which made Ducky gasp.

"I could see his big ugly eye looking for me."

"What did you do? Huh?" Ducky asked as she and Lola walked onto the oppiset side of which Cera was on.

"I walked right up to him."

Still, Lincoln and Lola and even Littlefoot were convinced that Cera was making this up.

"I looked at him straight in the eye and said, ROAR!" She roared as she jumped onto the end in the air and flung Ducky and Lola in the air like they were on a catupult.

Chapter 9: Spike and Tickles

Notes:

(See the end of the chapter for notes.)

Chapter Text

Fortintly, the moment that Ducky and Lola began to head down as their arms got caught on some vines.

"Okay. That was not what I had in mind." Said Lola. "You think she was still fibbing?"

"I do not know. No I do not." Said Ducky.

By then, the vines snapped as the two landed on the ground safely. But just as they did,

"Ow." Said a tiny squeaky voice.

"Huh? Who's there?" Lola asked.

"Me."

"Me where?"

"You're on my back."

Lola moved her foot and saw that she had stepped on what looked like a small mouse. But the moment she made contact with the eyes, she can see how cute the little mouse was. At least she thinks he's a mouse until Lincoln discribes him.

"I'm sorry."

"It's alright."

"Where is your family?" Ducky asked.

"I don't know. I've been on my own sense I was a baby. I'm still a kid I think."

Just then, a sound was heard from the tall grass close by. Ducky and Lola walked to the grass and peeked inside to see an abandoned egg inside.

"Hello." Said Ducky.

"Anyone home?" Lola asked.

A pare of eyes popped out but quickly sank themselves back into the egg.

"You should come out. You should." Said Ducky. "You are late. You you are. Yep yep yep."

But the hatchling continued to snore.

"Come out." Lola said as she removed the top of the egg. Revealing a dopey green face. "You're all alone. Are you scared of us?"

"We are going to The Great Valley." Ducky said as she helped Lola remove the rest of the egg. "You can come with us. Yes you can."

"What about me?" The small mouse asked.

"Yes you can come too." Said Lola.

"You are a Spike-tail." Ducky said as she saw six lumps on the hatchlings tail. "So we will call you Spike."

By then, Spike as Ducky called him, had gotten up and ate the grass that was srounding the egg. He didn't even care it was dry as he finished eating and then fell asleep.

"Uh, you have a name right?" Lola asked the mouse.

"No. I don't think I have one."

Before he knew, Ducky began to rub her arms on him.

"You have tickly fuzzies all over you. I am going to call you Tickles."

"Hey. I like that name." He said.

"Ducky!? Lola!?" They heard Lincoln call.

"Where are they?" Littlefoot asked the moment they arrived but didn't see them.

However, Lincoln wasn't looking where he was going and tripped over the sleeping Spike and fell onto the ground as his arrows flew out of his quiver.

"Ha ha ha ha ha ha!" Cera laughed at him.

"Very funny." Lincoln said annoyed as he grabbed all of his arrows and put them back into his quiver.

"Lincoln." Said Ducky. "You just tripped over Spike."

"Spike?"

"Behind you." Said Lola.

Lincoln turned to see the huge Stegosaurus who he had tripped over. Because of him doing that, Spike had woken up and was looking at him with his dopey eyes.

"Okay." He said as Tickles walked to him. "Who are you?"

"I'm Tickles. What are you?"

"A human."

"Never heard of those before."

"Right."

"What is he anyway?" Lola asked.

"Why he's one of those mice that existed in the prehistoric times."

"I knew it." Said Lola.

"Oh no." Said Cera. "They are not coming with us."

"Cera we can just leave them all alone out here." Said Littlefoot.

"They'll just get in the way and they'll be more mouths to feed when who knows when we'll find more food."

"Well who wants them to come with us?" Lincoln asked. Lola and Ducky and Petrie raised there hands as Littlefoot raised his front paw.

"Sorry Cera. It's 5 to 1."

"Fine but one slip up and they're both out of here."

Later, Lola was using berries to louer Spike to get him to follow. Though Cera kept a ditence from the others, they all made their way.

And so, the eight of them set off for The Great Valley. There had never been such a herd before. A Longneck. A Three-horn. A Big-mouth. A Flyer. A Spike-tail. A Tickly Fuzzy. And two humans. All together. All knowing of they lost their way they would starve. Or find themselves in Sharptooth's shadow.

Notes:

Ever sense the forth movie, I've been a huge fan of Tickles. So like my story on fanfiction.net, Tickles is part of the gang. But this time he was there before the forth movie. What do you think about it?

Chapter 10: Food gathering

Chapter Text

After walking for a while, the gang had come across a water fall. And where there was water. There were also plants growing nearby.

"Let's see." Said Lincoln. "Vegetation grows where there's lots of water. If we follow this water."

Lincoln followed the stream as he gathered up as much fish he could find in it. Cera was about to say something when,

"Don't worry." Said Littlefoot. "We dinosaurs taste yucky to them."

That got Ducky and Petrie and Spike and Tickles to laugh. But Cera did not find it funny. She knew the young Loud siblings were hiding something but the others are alright with them eating meat. She on the other hand was gonna keep close watch on them because she knew they would turn up soon.

"We can't smell plants like you guys." Said Lola. "So what do you small?"

"I smell," Said Petrie. "I smell, I smell, hmm...Ducky."

"You smell me?" Ducky asked laughing.

"Well humans can't smell water either." Said Lincoln. "Wait. Is that? It must be."

All of them walked down a cliff to find many trees with leafs that were still green.

"Oh look. Green food." Said Ducky.

"The Great Valley! I found it!" Cera cheared.

"Cera. Stop it." Said Lincoln.

But then, the ground began to shake as rocks began to fall.

"Earthshake." Said Tickles.

"We've got to get out of here." Said Lola. "That way. Come on."

All of them began to make their way down to the trees. Except for Spike who had trouble moving.

"Spike. Hurry up." Ducky said as she and Tickles rushed to help him.

"Ducky! Spike! Tickles! Get out of there!" Lincoln shouted to them.

But then, the rumbling sounds got louder as the gang ducked their heads. Just as they did, a herd of Longnecks had busted through the rocks as they ran down to the trees. The gang got up and watched as the herd ate all the leafs on the trees.

"They're eating out food!" Said a very upset Cera. "Look what they're doing! They're so greedy! What about me? I'm still hungry!"

"You hungry?" Petrie scarfed. "I empty all the way to the top! Now we at The Great Valley and still have no green food. Oh. We be hungry forevers."

"No Petrie." Said Lola. "Cera was wrong. This isn't The Great Valley."

"Oh. It is not a great anything. Nope nope nope." Said Ducky.

"Now what'll we do?" Tickles asked.

"Well, we better go down and see if there's anything left." Said Littlefoot.

After looking around for a while, they managed to find one tree still full of leafs that the herd hasn't eaten.

"Petrie." Said Lincoln. "Do you think you could fly up there and,"

"No!" Petrie said quickly.

"Petrie it is alright." Said Ducky. "Many things do not fly. Rocks. Trees. Sticks. Spike."

"I think I have another way but it'll be tough." Said Lincoln.

After he said that, he grabbed Lola and piggybacked her as Ducky and Petrie and Tickles were on her hands.

"I don't think We can reach them." Said Tickles.

"Littlefoot. We need some help." Lola said to him.

"I'm on it." Littlefoot said as he lowered his head under Lincoln's foot.

"Hope I'm not on your eyes." Lincoln said as he placed his foot down on Littlefoot's head.

"No. You're fine Lincoln." Littlefoot said as he lifted his head up.

"You can do it Petrie." Ducky said as she moved him closer to the leafs. But Petrie tried to get away.

"NO!"

"Ducky. Tickles. Push Petrie tords the branches." Said Lincoln as Spike got under Littlefoot.

"Alright Spike. Not too fast." He said.

But of course, Spike did move fast.

"Hey not too fast Spike. Not too fast!" Lincoln shouted.

Too late, Spike lifted up very fast.

"WHOA!" The others shouted.

All of that got Lola and Petrie to look down and they began to shiver as Petrie gripped onto Ducky.

Meanwhile, Cera was sitting back watching the whole thing as she began to laugh at them.

"You seven look so redicules. Ha ha ha ha ha ha."

"Not helping Cera." Lincoln said annoyed.

Finally, they were close enough to the leafs. Tickles moved Ducky up as she moved Petrie up. Petrie paniced as he began to grab as many leafs as he could and made them all fall to the ground. As they fell, Spike began to catch some and eat them.

Doing so made him move away from the others which made Littlefoot lose his grip on the tree as he and Tickles and the young Loud Siblings fell down while Ducky and Petrie held onto a branch.

"Come down here guys. We have enough." Said Littlefoot.

And then, Ducky gave Petrie a kiss before she let go. Just as she did, the branch broke and Petrie began to fall.

"Fly Petrie. Pull out both wings." Said Ducky.

"Fly Petrie. Flap your wings." Said Lincoln.

Just as he got closer, Lincoln blew on Petrie's wings to get him flying. But instead he just floated down and landed on the leafs.

"I fly?" He asked. Earning a sad look from Ducky and Lincoln.

"Hey guys." Tickles said to Lincoln and Lola. "Littlefoot told us what you guys eat. Do we really taste bad to you?"

"Very." Said Lola. Earning laughter from Ducky and Petrie and Spike.

"Why am I not surprised?" Cera asked.

"I don't know." Said Lincoln. "Speaking of eating, what are you waiting for Cera? There's plenty for you as well."

"I can get my own green food." Cera said as she began to ram another tree with very few leafs on it. But she only got them to shake. She kept on ramming it but the leafs still won't fall.

Lincoln then grabbed a big hand full of leafs and when Cera rammed the tree again, Lincoln tossed them down to her which made her think she did get the ones on the tree. Satisfied, she began to eat.

"See? I can take care of myself. All by myself. And I'm not afraid to be alone. I know my way to go. And I'm not afraid of Sharptooth. I hope he doesn't eat any of you."

"Don't worry." Lincoln said to the others. "There isn't any Sharptooth."

"Sharptooth. Spike." Ducky whispered to him.

As soon as they finished eating, Lincoln watched as the others, minus Lola and Littlefoot, all walked to Cera and slept next to her.

"There isn't any Sharptooth." Lincoln said as he walked over to a T-Rex foot print and sat himself in there as Lola and Littlefoot followed him.

With the others, Ducky was having a head time sleeping sense everyone else was snoring too loud for her. She tried to hide under Spike to stop hearing it. But had no luck. So she walked away from them.

By then, Ducky had walked into the foot print and cuddled up with Lincoln who was on Littlefoot. But then, Petrie and Tickles walked in and cuddled up with Littlefoot. And then a huge THUD was heard which came from Spike who also walked in and cuddled up with Lola.

Meanwhile, Cera found herself getting cold and saw that the others had all walked to where Littlefoot and the young Loud Siblings were. So she walked there too and also got into the foot print but still kept her distentce from them.

"I still don't care what makes them so special." She said quietly. "When we get up when The Bright Circle rises, I'll find The Great Valley my way."

And so, Cera lead down and dropped to sleep.

Chapter Text

The next morning, the gang was scatered all over the foot print as they still slept. But as they did, Sharptooth was close by as he waited for the right moment to strike.

Lola opened her eyes slightly enough to find that she was on top of Spike's belly hugging him as he hugged back. Making her giggle a bit.

"If Lincoln was awake now, I'd ask him to take a picture of this." She said before closing her eyes again.

Meanwhile, Cera woke up by the sounds of Sharptooth roaring as she got up and saw him heading this way.

"Wake up. Wake up." She said as she tried to get Lincoln up.

"Cera stop it." Lincoln said as he still slept.

"Sharptooth! He'll eat us! Run!" She shouted which got the others up.

"Stop it! Sharptooth is dead!" Lincoln shouted.

But then, a huge shadow had casted over them. Making Lincoln look up and saw that Cera was right. Sharptooth was alive.

Littlefoot quickly moved him and Lola away and got them onto his back as Sharptoth stomped on the foot print. Just as his foot moved, Littlefoot saw that Sharptooth had smashed his Tree-star to peaces. Which means Sharptooth had now taken away what he had left of his mother.

But he didn't have time to mope about it as he and the others ran away. As they ran, Lola looked back at her bow and quiver.

"I have a weapon." She said. "I have a weapon."

Just as Sharptooth got closer, She turned around and grabbed her bow and pulled an arrow out of her quiver. Very carefully, She aimed at him. And then,

She fired the arrow. And it hit Sharptooth on his belly. Making him roar in pain.

"Don't look back! Keep going!" Lincoln shouted as he also pulled out his bow and an arrow.

As soon as Sharptooth tried to stomp on them, Lincoln fired the arrow on his foot and made him hop back as he managed to pull it out.

Getting the courage into them, The young Loud Siblings began to fire as many arrows as they can at Sharptooth which slowed him down a bit. As they did, the gang had reached a rock wall with a small crevus on it.

Very quickly, the gang scqeazed through the crevus to the other side as Littlefoot pushed them all through. Once at the other side, they rolled down a small hill.

Once at the bottom, Cera looked up and saw that Sharptooth tried to get his mouth in but it got stuck on the way before she turned to Lincoln.

"Now will you believe me?"

"I'm sorry." Said Lincoln. "We're safe now."

"Nobody's safe with you."

With his tree-star gone, Littlefoot was starting to lose hope on finding The Great Valley.

However, he saw something that got his hopes back.

"Look." He said. "It's the rock that looks like a Longneck. Just like my mother said. We're going the right way! The way to The Great Valley!"

Lincoln and Lola began to smile the moment they found out that this adventure was almost over. Just then, Lincoln caught a glimps of the Time Stone flashing a bit.

"Hmm." He said as he and the others began to make their way. "I wish I knew how this thing works."

Sharptooth freed himself from the craves but felt pain all over his body from the arrows. Those kids will pay. And dearly.

But he knew where they were going. The Great Valley. He had been there before. No leaf-eater was safe as long as he lived.

He'll find those kids and then finish them up. Once he does, he'll make his way into The Great Valley and turn it into a boneyard.

Lincoln had been wrong about The Great Sharptooth. But the others followed him and Lola and Littlefoot. Their only hope was to reach The Great Valley and the three of them alone knew the way.

They were making their way up a steep mountain. As they got higher, volcanic ash began to rain down on them for the volcanos were close by. Just as they were hath way up, the others were getting tired.

"Come on. Get up." Said Lola. "We're going the right way."

True but they still wanted to rest.

"Of you can't quit now." Said Littlefoot. "What if The Great Valley is over the top of these rocks?"

Though they were sore stumped and tired, Littlefoot and Lincoln and Lola urged them on. They'd never seen The Great Valley but their hearts told them they were close. Surely at the top they'd behold it finally.

As soon as they reached the top, there was a dust storm blocking the way down. Once it was cleared up, they saw a path of foot prints leading to where the volcanos were but Littlefoot and Lincoln and Lola knew they were closer to the valley now. But when Cera showed up and saw what was down there,

"This is your Great Valley?! You're crazy! I'm leaving!"

"Cera we have to keep following the sun." Said Lincoln.

"I'm taking the easy way for once." Cera said as she was about walk away. But Littlefoot jumped in front of her.

"But it's the wrong way!"

"Says who?"

"My mother!"

"Then she was a stupid Longneck too."

"Cera." Lincoln tried to say but,

"And I'm done listening to you! You think you're so smart and you know everything! But you don't!"

"But I'm the man with the plan."

"More like the boy who just wants to get lost. If you ask me, you're just a big dummy."

"Take that back!"

"No!"

"TAKE IT BACK!"

"NEVER!"

That got Lincoln to lose it as he pushed Cera down the slope along with himself.

"Lincoln!" Lola and Littlefoot shouted as they followed them down.

"Spike." Ducky said as she tried to stop Spike from sliding down.

"Spike no." Tickles said as he also tried to stop him.

"Spike. No fall." Petrie said as he tried to stop him as well.

But Spike was too heavy for all three of them as they slid down. And once they got there, they watched in fear as Lincoln and Cera fought.

"You!" Cera shouted as she kicked Lincoln on his belly.

"Oof!"

The others quickly hid themselves behind a rock to avoid getting invalved as Lincoln and Cera continued to fight.

"Let go of my leg!" Cera shouted as Lincoln had grabbed her leg with his hands.

Until she managed to brake free by kicking him away with her free leg. Both them had colided by Lincoln's hands on Cera's head as they both tried to push each other away. Littlefoot wanted to stop them but didn't want to make things worse. Until Cera had managed to push Lincoln and then leaped from the rock the others were hiding behind as she ran and then, she spinned her body and knocked Lincoln down from behind.

Finally, they stopped. Cera humped at him as she began to follow the foot prints to the volcanos.

"Go on!" Lincoln shouted. "Go the wrong way! We never wanted you with us anyway!"

The others came out of hiding as Lincoln began to climb back up the slope.

"Come on. We have to keep going." He said to them. But,

"Cera's way is easier." Said Ducky.

"Me think so to." Said Petrie.

Now Lincoln was even more angry as he continued go back up.

"Domehead! Wait!" Petrie shouted as he tried to follow him but kept sliding down. "No be angry! WAIIIIIIIIIIIT!"

"Cera wait for us. We are coming with you." Ducky shouted as she and Petrie and Spike and Tickles went to catch up with Cera,

Littlefoot got upset. Maybe his mother was right. Maybe other dinosaurs can't get along after all because they were too different. Wait. No. They still have a chance. They can still get along. There's another thing that a herd is which he knew from his mother.

"Lincoln we have to go after them." He said as he and Lola followed Lincoln back up.

"Why should we?" Lincoln asked. "They'd rather go the easy way than the right way."

"But we have to. They need us." Littlefoot explained.

"It's their choice. I'm going the way you're mother said to us."

Lola saw that things were about to get heated up as she quickly hid behind another rock.

"WE CAN'T JUST LEAVE THEM! THEY NEED US!" Littlefoot shouted.

"THEY'D RATHER GO THE WRONG WAY INSTEAD!" Lincoln shouted back.

"THEY'RE OUT HERD AND WE'RE NOT LEAVING THEM!"

"WE CAN'T BE A HERD! NON OF US ARE THE SAME SPECIES!"

"THAT'S NOT WHAT HERD MEANS! HERD MEANS FAMILY!"

The moment he said said, Lincoln began to calm down a bit.

"Can you say that again?"

"Herd means family." Littlefoot explained. "And a family isn't what you're born in. It's about who are the closest to you."

"He's right." Said Lola.

Then it hit Lincoln. Clyde was like a brother to him. From all the times things went bad, Clyde had been there for him as he had been there for Clyde. And dispite how over protective Clyde's dads were, they were like his uncles.

"Lola. Littlefoot. We'd better hurry. Those volcanos are sure to erupt any minute now."

Without questioning, the three quickly ran to the others.

I'm not sure if what I did was a good idea for this chapter. But I guess it is what it is.

Chapter 12: Danger

Notes:

(See the end of the chapter for notes.)

Chapter Text

Many volcanos and geysers were seen blowing up. There was so much smoke that the sun was blocked up. Cera, Ducky, Petrie, Spike, and Tickles made their way through the path. There we so many lava rivers that they were afraid of falling in though Cera showed no signs of it.

"I-I-I wish Littlefoot and Lincoln and Lola were hear with us now." Said Ducky.

"M-M-Me too." Said Petrie.

"Me three." Said Tickles.

Cera just ignored them as she went on. However, Spike ended up stopping as he spotted a weed and began to pull it out.

"Spike no." Said Ducky.

"Don't stop Spike. We need to keep going." Said Tickles.

Cera didn't notice that three of her companions have fallen behind and kept on going. Soon, she and Petrie had reached a split path. The one at the bottom lead to a tar pit with bones of other dinosaurs who tried to cross it and failed. And the path above goes over the pit but the path was broken.

Cera walked to the path above. And after the ground shook a bit, she jumped and made it.

But as she did, Petrie ended up falling off of her as he tried to fly but failed once again and fell into the tar.

"Cera! I fall off!" He called to her but she didn't hear and went on. "Oh Cera! Ducky! Tickles! Spike! HEEEEEELP!"

But Ducky and Tickles and Spike were also in danger. The path they were on had broken and were stuck on a rock in the middle of the lava which was sinking.

"Help us Cera!" Ducky called out.

"Cera where are you?!" Tickles shouted as well.

"Over there!" Came Littlefoot's voice as he and Lincoln and Lola ran by.

"Littlefoot! Lincoln! Lola!" Tickles shouted.

"Hang on! We're coming!" Lincoln shouted as he and the others ran to them.

Once there, Littlefoot and the young Loud siblings ran to another rock and began to push it as hard as they can into the lava. Until it last, they got the rock to fall.

"Quick! This way!" Lola shouted.

Without thinking, Spike got Ducky and Tickles on his back and leaped across the rocks until they were back on the solid earth. Now that they were safe, the six ran to the tar pit to find Petrie.

"Petrie!" Lincoln shouted as he and the others ran down the path.

Littlefoot whapped his tail around a branch sticking out of the goo as he held into Spike's tail. Lincoln got in front and held onto Lola's legs as she held onto Ducky and Tickles.

"Littlefoot. Domehead. Lola. Ducky. Spike. Tickles. Oh Petrie so happy."

"Grab on Petrie!" Ducky shouted as she grabbed Petrie by his arms.

Working together, the six had managed to free Petrie, Only for Ducky to slip off Spike and now she was stuck.

"Help!"

"Ducky!" Lincoln shouted as Petrie grabbed her. "Petrie pull!"

Petrie managed to pull Ducky out very easy. But just then, the branch Littlefoot's tail was had broken and now they were all stuck.

"HELP!"

"HELP!"

Cera had also gotten in danger as she was begin chased by a Domehead. He tried to squish her with his dome but missed. Until another Domehead had shown up in front of her and tried to stab her with his horn but she got away in time.

Until both the Domeheads tried to ram her but she jumped away and made them ran each other instead.

"AAAAAHHHHH!"

Before Cera could get away, a third Domehead had arrived as he and the other two had srounded Cera and cornered her.

"AAAHHH! HELP ME! HEEEEELP!"

"WOOOOOH!"

As soon as that came, all of them turned to the entrance to the cave and saw a scary black monster with horns all over its body heading their way. The Domeheads were so scared that they ran away. But Cera stood there in fear as the monster got closer to her.

"Get away from me! Get away!" She shouted until the monster grabbed her with its nose. "AAAHHH! STOP IT! LET GO OF ME! HEEEELP! HEEEELP! PETRIE! TICKLES! SPIKE! DUCKY! HEEEELP!"

"Cera. It's us." Came Lincoln's voice from the monster.

At that moment, Cera had calmed down and got a better look at the monster. It really was Lincoln and he as well as Lola and Littlefoot and Ducky and Petrie and Spike and Tickles were covered in tar as they had sticks for horns and Spike had a bone in his mouth.

Before she knew it, the seven of them began to laugh. She got angry enough to slid herself off of Littlefoot's tail and fell to the floor.

"I knew it was you all along! I knew! I did!"

"Sure you did!" Said Lola as she and the others kept laughing.

"Oh get out of my way!" Cera said as she began to walk away. Until she slipped on a puddle of tar and fall on her belly. Making the others laugh harder. Until she got up and humped at them as she began to walk away again. But she didn't watch where she was going and bumped into a rock. Making the others laugh even harder.

Finally, Cera couldn't take it anymore and ran down to a waterfall. The others stopped laughing the moment they realized that they had been too hard on her.

"Cera?" Lola asked.

"Cera come back!" Littlefoot shouted.

"Come back!" Lincoln shouted as well.

Cera was still too proud to admit that, she'd gone the wrong way.

"What have I done?" She asked herself.

She couldn't hold herself back any longer and let her tears out.

She then looked back up and thought about Littlefoot. She was starting to take back what she said about him and his mother being stupid. She was also beginning to take back what she said about Lincoln being a big dummy.

Maybe it isn't too late for her to go and tell them she's sorry.

Notes:

Sorry. I was in the middle of a writers block. But I got it now. I hope this is working out alright. I'm sorry this chapter is too short anyway.

Chapter 13: The final battle

Chapter Text

Meanwhile, the others were swimming in a pond outside the cave to wash the tar off of them.

"You think Cera will be alright?" Lincoln asked.

"I'm sure she will." Said Lola. "I do hope she'll come back and.....SHARPTOOTH!"

At that moment, the others ran by and saw Sharptooth climbing up a mountain.

"He never gives up does he?" Lincoln asked.

"He's chosen us as his pray so he's not gonna stop until he gets us." Said Littlefoot.

"Then let's get rid of him once and for all." Lincoln said out loud.

"What do we do?" Tickles asked.

"Look. We'll coax him to the deep end of the pond. He can't swim with those scrawny arms. Littlefoot. Spike. You two go up there and push that boulder on top of his head. And then he'll fall into the water. Lola. You and I will be on those pillers in case Littlefoot and Spike needs cover. Petrie. You whistle when he's just at the right spot. Where the water gets dark. Now we need some bate."

Before Ducky and Tickles knew it, everyone turned to them.

"Me?" Ducky asked. "Oh no. No no no no. No no no no."

"No. Not me eather." Said Tickles.

Of course, Ducky and Tickles had to go anyway. All they had to do was to get Sharptooth to the pond. But how can they do it without becoming his next meal?

They walked into the cave as Sharptooth stopped and hid behind a rock. Just as they did, they screamed. They got Sharptooth to roar as they hid themselves again.

Just as they poked their heads out, Sharptooth was gone. Did he go in deeper?

Very slowly, Ducky and Tickles backed away from the rock. But as they got farther back, Sharptooth had landed behind them. Before he could attack, Ducky and Tickles ran under him and back outside. Just as they got outside, Sharptooth ended up triping and slid down on his back with Ducky and Tickles ending up on his nose.

"HELP!" They shouted.

Just as they got to the pond, Ducky and Tickles fell into the water.

"Ducky! Tickles!" Lincoln shouted.

Fortintly, they were able to swim away and hide before Sharptooth had found them. Meanwhile, Sharptooth was looking for them as he walked closer to the deep end.

As soon as he got into place, Petrie tried to whistle a couple times until he finally got it. As soon as he did, Littlefoot and Spike began to push the boulder as hard as they can.

"Push Spike! Push with all your might!" Littlefoot said to him.

But because of how big it was, it was hard for them to push it faster.

By then, Petrie grabbed a rock and tossed it onto Sharptooth's noes as he laughed. However, Sharptooth had spotted Petrie with his good eye and rammed the wall with his head. Making Petrie slip and fall.

"Petrie!" Lincoln shouted.

Just as Petrie fell, Sharptooth tried to get him but missed as Petrie got away in time. Until he snorted on him and made him go up as he flapped his wings.

However, he wasn't falling. He was staying air born.

"I flying." He said. "I flying! I FLYING!"

"HEEEEELP!" Ducky and Tickles shouted as they returned to the surfese with Sharptooth still after them. Until they ended up on his nose.

"Oh no you don't!" Lola shouted as she fired an arrow on Sharptooth's back. And because she was on his right, he couldn't see her.

As Lola distracted him, Petrie puffed up his belly before using his new ability to fly down and grab Ducky and Tickles to get them away from Sharptooth.

But as he did, Sharptooth had spotted Littlefoot and and Spike and was about to attack, but Lincoln stopped him but shooting another arrow on his side.

"Leave them alone or this next one will go into your,"

Before Lincoln could finish, Sharptooth had rammed onto the piller and made Lincoln fall on top of him. Lola tried to shoot another arrow but Sharptooth had done the same with her as well.

As soon as that was done, he jumped and landed on top of the boulder. Making it harder for Littlefoot and Spike to push it even with Ducky and Tickles and the young Loud Siblings now helping. Petrie then tried to slow him down by pulling on his bad eye.

Just then,

"ROAR!"

"Cera!" Lincoln shouted as spotted the young Triceratops running tords them.

"I'm coming!" She shouted.

By then, Cera had rammed the rock. And then, Sharptooth had fell down with the boulder.

However, Petrie had fallen too and tried to fly away. But Sharptooth had grabbed him by his leg and,

SPLASH!

The boulder had landed on top of him when they landed in the water and Sharptooth sank to the bottom.

It was over. Sharptooth was gone.

But Petrie hasn't returned. All of them looked at the water and waited for him to return. He didn't. He was gone too.

"He was...my friend." Ducky said sadly as all of them began to walk away from the ledge. "Poor Petrie. Poor poor Petrie."

"STOP!"

All of them turned to the ledge and was in for surprise. Petrie was alright and climbed back onto the ledge.

"You go without Petrie?"

"Petrie. PETRIE!" Ducky shouted happily as she ran and gave him a hug. "You are safe. Yes you are. Yep yep yep."

"Littlefoot. I'm sorry about what I said about your mother. And Lincoln, I'm sorry for calling you a dummy. I just wanted to prove we Three-horns were better than all others. But instead I almost got us all killed by going the wrong way. I take back everything I've said."

Everyone looked at her. No Three-horn has ever admited they were wrong before.

"It's fine." Said Lincoln. "And I'm sorry for starting that fight back there. When you live with ten sisters, things can go a little out of hand."

"Ten? That's a lot of sisters."

"Yet I'm glad to have at least one of them with me." Lincoln said as he turned to Lola who smiled at his commit.

"Littlefoot."

"That voice." Said Littlefoot. "Mother."

And then, all of them turned to the sky and saw the clouds take the form of a Brontosaurus. It was Littlefoot's mother.

"Littlefoot."

"Mother." Littlefoot said to her. "I tried to do what you told me. But it's just too hard. I'll never find The Great Valley."

And then, the wind took her all the way to the cave.

"Mother! Don't go Mother! Don't go!" Littlefoot shouted as he and the others ran after her.

Up they went on the mountain and through the cave. But once at the other side, they all stopped as she went up higher and a light from the sun shined from his heart on all of them. Until the light got bigger. And bigger. Until it was enough to reveal the landscape in front of them.

It was full of green and blue. All of it. And then they realized what this place is.

"The Great Valley." Said Lincoln.

"It is." Said Lola. "The real Great Valley."

"We found it. Yep yep yep." Ducky cheared.

"We did it! We did it together!" Littlefoot cheared as well.

The Great Valley was all they dreamed it would be. A land of green, and leafs, and life. There were waterfalls, grassy medoes, enough Tree-stars to feast on forever. And raising upon them, their families.

Ducky and Tickles and Spike had found the swimmer family. Ducky's family. Her parents were glad to see her safe and they adopted both Spike and Tickles into the family.

Petrie flew around and found his mother as he flew to her. She and his siblings were glad to see Petrie alright and his elder brother was very glad to Petrie can finally fly.

And Cera? She found her father and they were glad to be together again.

And Littlefoot found his grandmother and grandfather at last. The same loving faces he looked into on the day of his birth.

"Littlefoot." Said Grandma. "We were so worried about you."

Littlefoot looked up at the sky and remembered the adventure from the begining all the way to the end. But as his flashbacks have ended, he saw Lincoln and Lola sitting on a hill looking upset as he and the others ran to them.

"Lincoln. Lola. Are you alright?" He asked.

"No." Said Lincoln. "We're just thinking."

"About what?" Petrie asked.

"How we can get home." Said Lola.

Just then, the Time Stone on Lincoln's neck began to glow once again. As it did, a light had emerged from it and formed an orange oval shaped light in front of them before an image showed up on it.

It was Lincoln's room in The Loud House.

"What is this?" Lola asked.

"It's a portal." Said Lincoln. "And it'll take us home."

"Then let's go." Said Lola.

"Except there might be a problem."

"What kind of problem?" Cera asked.

"This might be a one way portal. Which means, we could never see each other again."

"Then you don't have to go. You can stay with us." Said Littlefoot.

"Thanks for the offer Littlefoot. But we live in a whole different world. And we miss it." Said Lincoln. "But we'll always be friends no matter where we are."

"Really?" Petrie asked.

"Really." Said Lola.

"And if we're lucky, we may be able to return someday." Said Lincoln.

"Then, I guess this is good-bye." Cera said admitting how sad she was.

With one last hug, the young Loud siblings have breaded their good-bye to their new friends before they held hands and walked through the portal.

As they did, it vanished.

Chapter 14: Albert's story

Chapter Text

"We're home." Said Lincoln.

He was right. He and Lola were back in The Loud House. In Lincoln's room.

"What an adventure that was." Said Lola.

"LINCOLN!" They heard Lori shout from down stairs.

"I never thought I'd be glad to hear her again." Lincoln said as he and Lola walked out of the room and found Lori at the bottom of the stairs.

"And just what were you doing? You know Sunday is Chore Day."

"Uh." Was all both of them could say.

"Hang on. Why do you two look all sweaty and smell?" Lori asked.

"We've been gone for four days." Said Lola.

"What are you talking about? You just walked into Lincoln's room 3 minutes ago."

Three minutes? Both Lincoln and Lola were shocked. Was this the same day they ended up traveling into the dinosaur world?

"Is something wrong Lori?" Rita asked as she and Lynn Sr. walked into the room.

"And what is the smell?" Lynn Sr. asked.

Lori just pointed at the two of them.

"Whoa. What happened to you two?" Lynn Sr. asked again.

"We don't know." Lola lied. Because both her and Lincoln felt that they shouldn't know what happened.

"Well you two are not doing any chores for today. Go and clean yourselves up." Said Rita. "Lori. We're gonna leave their chores to you this week."

"Fine. But I have a date with Bobby later." Lori said as she walked away.

"Uh. After we're all clean, we need to see Pop-Pop for a project we've been working on." Said Lincoln.

"Okay." Said Rita.

Littlefoot looked up at the night sky as he thought about Lincoln and Lola. He missed them already but he knew they were glad to be home.

"I hope they're coming back soon." He said to himself.

After getting clean, and finally having a proper meal just after, Lincoln and Lola went to the retirement house. The new nurse was more kinder than the last one was and let them see Albert in his room.

"Aha. I had a feeling that you were going show up soon Lincoln." He said. "And Lola. I'm surprised you're here as well."

"We need to talk to you." Said Lola.

"For starters, why didn't you tell me what the Time Stone can do?" Lincoln asked.

"You wouldn't have believed me if I did. When I was your age, I didn't believe my father when he gave me the stone."

"It belonged to your father?" Lincoln asked.

"It's been in the family for generations. But I guess it skips generations sometimes."

"Why?" Lola asked.

"Your mother couldn't get it to work and from Lori to LJ, they were interested in dinosaurs. And knowing Lisa, she'd have gone mad with experimenting on them. But you Lincoln. After your mother told me that you loved studying about the dinosaurs, I knew it had to be you."

"But I ended up going with him." Said Lola.

"You did?"

Both of them started with what happened after Albert gave Lincoln the stone. How he felt like his friends had abandoned him because they didn't like dinosaurs and Clyde wasn't keeping contact with him.

And they told Albert about the wish Lincoln made as they ended up in the world of dinosaurs and met Littlefoot and then about their adventure from meeting the others to them defeating The Great Sharptooth and finding The Great Valley. When they finished, Albert was stunned.

"You defeated Sharptooth?"

"We did." Said Lola.

"Lincoln. Lola. You two and your friends are gonna be legends for defeating Sharptooth."

"Legends?" Lincoln asked.

"Me and my friend, a diplodocus, have fought Sharptooth before. He got into The Great Valley and we fought him until he fell down a pit. But he was still alive. We were planning on defeating him for good as I went home to prepare. But before I know it, the Time Stone stopped working for me."

"It did?" Lola asked. "How?"

"I don't know. I felt that it was because I was getting too old. But Lincoln, you're still young so the Time Stone can still work for you."

"But how?" Lincoln asked.

"Just say, Portal Open. That way you'll be able to go back as soon as the Time Stone starts glowing again. But don't just say it. Mean it. Mean it like a wish."

"Thanks for telling us." Said Lincoln.

"Don't mention it. But promise me you won't tell anyone else about the Time Stone. Like I mentioned with Lisa, there are some people who would like to get their hands on the dinosaurs. Our job is to protect that world. Not use it for our own good."

Lola nodded because she knew she was bad at keeping a secret. But if there was one secret she had to keep, it had to be this one.

"By the way." Said Lincoln. "There's no way that was our world millions of years ago. What was that place?"

"Even I don't know. But our family had a name for it. We called it, The Land Before Time."

Chapter Text

The night, Lincoln shared the same dream with Lola. Both of them were in front of the pond where they had defeated Sharptooth. By then, the clouds came and formed the shape of Littlefoot's mother right over the pond as she looked at them.

"Thank you for helping my son." She said to them.

Both of them couldn't help but smile in both the dream and in real life as they slept.

As three days passed, Lincoln managed to get back with Liam and Rusty and Zach and Stella who apoligized for leaving him because of his intrest on dinosaurs. They really were intrested in dinosaurs but they were afraid that he would like them if they showed it. But he still got no word from Clyde for some reason.

Sense their adventure in The Land Before Time, Lincoln and Lola have grown more closer to each other than any other would have. And once the Time Stone glows again, they can go back to see their new dinosaur friends again.

In which to their surprise, the Time Stone was glowing right now. As they were outside, Lincoln quickly clapped his hands on it before anyone saw it.

"Is it glowing again?" Lola asked.

"It is. We'll go tonight." Said Lincoln.

As soon as the sun began to set, Lincoln and Lola prepared for their trip back to the dinosaur world. This time, they'll be ready. Lola changed into her new outfit before she met in Lincoln's room with her backpack and archery equipment ready like he had with his own.

"So we're all set now?" Lincoln asked.

"All set."

"Great." Lincoln said as he grabbed the Time Stone. "Portal Open."

Light had shot from the stone and then formed an orange oval shaped portal in front of them. The two of them held hands and then walked into it. As soon as they did, it closed behind them.

Littlefoot was on his way to meet up with the others. It amazed him that even the grown-ups were all getting along even though they're all different speacies.

Just then, the wind picked up as an orange light had shown up. And, to his surprise, Lincoln and Lola have emerged from it.

"We're back." Lincoln said as the light had vanished.

"Lincoln! Lola!" Littlefoot shouted.

Both of them turned around to see him heading their way. As soon as he got there, both Lincoln and Lola embraced him which he returned by rapping his neck on them.

"Hey look!" They heard Cera shout from close by. "It's Lincoln and Lola!"

She then ran by with Ducky and Tickles and Petrie and Spike following her. All of them were together once again.

"I thought you went home." Cera said to them. "And it's been a day sense you were gone."

"Turns out, we did get lucky and now we can come back here whenever we like." Said Lincoln.

All of them were now happy. After the greeting, they ran around the valley playing tag. As they did, Lola thought of something.

"You know, we have lots of things going on soon back home. You think we'll be to still come back here?"

"Well it was Wednesday day when we left. How about this? We'll go only on Wednesday." Lincoln suggested.

"Yeah. That should work."

Soon, the gang met up on a hill and got together.

And they all grew up together in the valley. Generation upon generation. Each passing on to the next. Along with members the Loud Family who were next in line to use the Time Stone, if it worked for them. The tale of their ansators journey to the valley, long ago.

However, the gang knew this wasn't the end of their adventures. More adventures were awaiting them.
