Jungkook slings an arm across the back of the sofa, long fingers grazing Jimin’s skin as they curl around the tops of his shoulders. Breathing out a content sigh, Jimin brings his knees up and curls into his boyfriend’s body.
“Hi there.” Jungkook chuckles, pressing a kiss to Jimin’s forehead. Jimin tilts his head back and tugs on the collar of Jungkook’s shirt, before burying his face into the fabric.
“Thank you, Downy Amber Blossom,” Jimin murmurs, inhaling deeply.
Jungkook’s brows furrow. “What?”
Giggling softly, Jimin brings one hand up to caress Jungkook’s cheek. “The fabric softener you use for our laundry. It makes you smell…” He trails off, pondering his choice of words.
“Makes me smell….?” Jungkook repeats. He leans in closer to Jimin’s face, and a playful glint appears in his eyes.
“Ah, I know! It makes me smell like you.” Jungkook snaps his fingers. “Cutie, sexy, lovely.”
Scoffing, Jimin playfully shoves Jungkook away.
“Chim!” Jungkook protests, lunging toward Jimin and wrapping his arms around his boyfriend’s frame. “You secretly love it.”
“Do not.”
“Do too.”
Jimin crosses his arms, a sly smirk on his face. “Nope. Not at all.”
“Fine.” Jungkook sighs, turning his head. “But you love me.”
He voices it as a statement, but Jimin can hear a tiny sliver of uncertainty, of need for confirmation, in Jungkook’s tone.
Scooting closer, Jimin gently grips Jungkook’s chin, forcing the younger man to gaze into his eyes.
“Of. Course. I. Love. You.” He punctuates each word with a kiss, until a light flush spreads across Jungkook’s cheeks.
“Love you too,” Jungkook murmurs, resting his head against Jimin’s.
“Oh, and Chim?”
“Hm?”
“I’ll love you even more if you take care of the laundry tonight.”
