Bright red sneakers smashed through a puddle of rainwater, the only evidence of the afternoon’s rain shower. Green-clothed legs were sprinting across the roof as green lightning flickered and illuminated the night around him. White gloves bent down as a green and black back bent, finding purchase of the edge of the rooftop. With a whoop of pure enjoyment, Midoriya Izuku used his arms to propel him off of the edge of the rooftop, flipping a few times as he fell.
He landed in the darkest side of an alleyway, and as soon as the inky blackness met him he let his Quirk fade away. He crouched, letting his prey come to him.
And she did.
The girl he had been tasked to follow on the night patrol of the city slipped down the alleyway, hands undoing a teal scarf and popping buttons open. The chocolate brown peacoat she’d had on slipped to the floor, revealing her costume. Sleek black, with diamond cutouts everywhere. His eyes narrowed and he crept forward.
The file on her was woefully small, with the only known knowledge of her Quirk being that it was emitted. All they knew was her villain name, Nerve Striker. That would have been an awesome hero name too, but eh. Can’t always win. Her head whipped around, and striking blue eyes were revealed, her hair being a dusky brown with dust rose highlights.
He had always had an eye for color. Maybe being genderfluid gave him that uncanny sense for color that all the girls in his class possessed?? He’d have to ask Kaminari later, he resolved. Villain first.
Those electric blue eyes laser-focused on his form, and he took a brief moment to wonder how she had seen him before a wave of pink gas slammed into his face. Instinctively inhaling, he coughed when gas was sucked into his lungs. As soon as he could look up again, he saw the woman disappearing over a roof, and stood up to follow. A single jump, fueled with One For All, brought him to the roof she had clambered up and he set off, dashing in chase of Nerve Striker.
As he ran, the fabric spanning across his stomach started to feel weird, almost tingly against his stomach. It almost tickled, and he bit back a little snicker as he ran. The villain jumped down an alleyway, and he made to follow.
Of course, he really should have checked said alleyway.
As Midoriya jumped down the alleyway, his arms and shins got tangled in some sort of fabric and he yelped as he felt his limbs get jerked up. He dangled to a stop about a foot above the floor of the alleyway, which with him being on the shorter side seemed like a distance of forever.
He wriggled around, trying to loosen his arms from the binds and kicking out to free his legs, but only succeeded in tightening the weird fabric things. He was at a weird incline, his feet closer to the floor than his torso. From feet to the ground, it was probably about a foot. From his torso to the ground, it was more like five feet.
The scars on his arms, already sensitive, had skyrocketed in terms of sensitivity. He furrowed his eyebrows, before they widened in recognition. Nerve Striker’s Quirk, it must make nerve endings more sensitive, open to more stimulation and therefore making the person who inhaled it more sensitive overall.
He tried to fire up OFA, but there was nothing for him to use to propel him up and out of the binds, and his legs were too tangled up to use.
His skin was prickling, and the tickly feeling was back. His eyes slipped shut, a familiar prickling sensation burning at the back of them as he gave up for now, knowing that Aizawa-sensei would find him when he went on his patrol. A swell of embarrassment had him tilting his head back, to the sky.
“Well, well, well. Lookit who’s here.” The familiar raspy voice had Midoriya’s head shooting straight up, his eyes widening as he saw him.
Shigaraki Tomura. The leader of the League Of Villains. Who was currently looking at him, in this predicament, with a raised eyebrow-
He let a tiny squeak of embarrassment out, barely loud enough for himself to hear, before burying his head in his left arm. He heard footsteps coming towards him, then-
“Wow, you really are bound tightly, aren’t you? Wonder how this happened?” Shigaraki’s voice had a teasing lilt to it, making Midoriya blush. From the closeness of the voice he must be right next to the young hero-in-training. Then a finger dug into his ribs, just a slight poke.
Midoriya did not scream. Heroes do not scream when someone pokes their ribs. Neither do they let a surprised squeal out and try to tug themselves away from a single finger digging into their ribs. But the sensitized nerve endings presumably over his entire body had sent a surge of ticklish agony to his brain.
Hence, surprised squeal and tugging away. Sue him, he was a hero-in-training, not a real hero yet. He had some leeway.
Shigaraki was taken aback. There was no way he wasn’t. The presence from next to him had withdrawn a little bit, and his previous blush returned double force. A surprised noise, then a low growly chuckle.
“Y’know, if I had known that the mentee to All Might himself, with such a powerful Quirk, was this sensitive I would’ve done this months ago.” The teasing words had Midoriya blushing more, then another high-pitched yelp as two hand (presumable gloved, as there were 5 fingers and he wasn’t disintegrating yet) were set to his sides. They squeezed once, making him squeal again and writhe a bit in his bonds. He felt Shigaraki’s breath, from where he had moved behind him, on his cheek as he leaned in and whispered.
“Hey Midoriya…” Midoriya felt his breath go short at the teasing tone right in his ear. He could hear the wide smirk covering the villain’s face.
“Tickle, tickle, tickle…”
Those darned words were whispered in his ears right as the hands came to life, dancing lithe fingers up and down his sides. Midoriya’s back arched and he dug his face into his arm a bit harder, slamming his teeth together and trying to keep the villain from hearing the breathy giggles he was letting escape. And he was trying his dang hardest to keep those the only sounds escaping.
“Aww, Midoriya! I know you have cute laughter, I heard it at the mall all those months ago… so why don’t you let it out?” One hand moved over a bit and poised itself on his stomach, which had been sensitive enough. And now there was this gas running through his system, so…
Fingers scrabbled over his quivering belly, drawing a quiet scream from his mouth before he was back to clenching his teeth. The giggles were a lot less airy this time around. The hand still slipping up and down his side moved up a bit more, digging into the small tender spaces between his ribs and drawing breathy wheezes from his lungs.
“Come on, Midoriya! I’m not gonna stop until you can’t laugh anymore, so might as well start now! Doesn’t this…tickle?” And that darned word! He tossed his head back, wiggling around the best he could. Those dancing fingers just followed the movements he could make. In his ear, Shigaraki tsked at him.
“Hmm, okay, I see you might need some more persuasion, how about here?” The hand torturing his ribs shot up to the tender flesh of his underarm and dug in, stroking and wiggling through the soft fabric of the joint. Even with the costume on, Midoriya felt every slight movement of fingers, and he supposed it was because of the gas he inhaled. Then all coherent thought left his brain as he felt a finger center right over his navel. Against his will, he let a pure laugh out of his mouth. More followed as Shigaraki didn’t let up in his ministrations, finally drawing the laughter he had been chasing this whole time into the open. He just let himself laugh now, knowing that, at this point, there was no point in fighting back too much. It would probably just earn him a longer torture.
“Ooh, found it! But I wonder, is there a better spot…” The hand digging under his arms moved up a bit, fluttering across his neck. The gentle tickling had Midoriya scrunching his neck, giggles blurting out of him as he tried to avoid the sensations invading his brain. The other hand drifted down a bit, until it settled on his hip. Stroking the flesh there, it started trailing tickly fingers up and down his hips. The softer tickling wasn’t enough to bring the full belly laughter out, but it was too much for plain giggling, and oh gosh Midoriya had no clue what his body was telling him to do. The fingers on his hip were straying a bit, and then Midoriya felt ticklish waves surge into his mind as they brushed near to the inside of his thighs. A burst of frantic laughter seemed to catch Shigaraki back, before a wolfish grin he could hear replaced it. All the fingers stopped, letting Midoriya regain his breath for a scant 30 seconds.
“I think I’ve found it…” His hand went to the inside of his thigh, down by his knee, and started scrabbling over the fabric-covered flesh. Midoriya honest-to-goodness
shrieked
, slamming his head back as laughter slipped through lips pulled into a forced smile. The villain that had been ruthlessly tickling his let a dark chuckle out as he observed the teen, who was too busy short-circuiting via ticklish agony.
Midoriya felt tears spring to his eyes, a single drop falling down freckled cheeks made rosy with laughter. It was getting hard to breath, and he took a single millisecond to bless the fact that he had worn a compression shirt instead of a binder. His chest heaved as he sucked in air that was wasted just a second later. Finally, after what seemed like years of hyper-focus on his ticklish thighs, the torture stopped. His head was still tilted back, tears slipping out of the corners of his eyes. A deep voice was in the alleyway, but he couldn’t tell who it was through the rush of blood through his ears. His eyelids weighed heavy, and the last thing he was aware of was one hand wrapping around his sensitive ribs to support him as the other worked at the fabric binding his right wrist up. Then darkness wrapped its warm arms around him as he fell backwards into its embrace.
It had been a week since that night and Eraserhead freeing him from the bind, and at least now he knew what Nerve Striker’s Quirk was.
He still couldn’t look Aizawa-sensei in the eyes though.
