Summary
Kiryu watched as the bright lights of Kamurocho slipped into the side view mirror, the loud and vibrant town slipping into the distance behind them, taking the artificial daylight with it.
The wide stretch of highway slowly twisted and turned, Kiryu glancing out the window, eyes flickering across the trees that lined the sides of the road. The radio played at a low volume- he couldn’t make out the words, but it sounded like some sort of pop music.
“It’s nice outside,” Nishiki said, glancing out the window for a fraction of a second before focusing his attention back to the road. “I can’t remember the last time we got to see the stars like this, too many lights in town.”
