Where Are You Now Little Sailor

Summary:

Fourteen years set after the infamous massacre as it follows to Da Song is now.

Work Text:

Da Song knew that the flickering light meant something. It was the day before his birthday was set as he wrote the cries of help inside his little tent. He thought that it was just the lights flickering making a message that happens to form into words so he forgot about to when he went to sleep.

After the massacre, maybe the flickering lights is morse code.

.

Da Song is at a room reading his book. He could hear men yelling that there is another ship passing by and how they needed some food and medication. Conversations were held beside his door about raising the flags up to let the other ship know that they needed some food.

The door was opened to reveal one of the sailors, telegraphing the people that they may have to arrive a little late due to a stoppage.

After he was done tapping on the telegraph he went to read his book. He stopped reading it when he remembered...

That was just in the past Da Song. He wondered what would happen if his father wasn't murdered, would he too believe him that the guy really was real? He could just remember the reactions from his mother and sister when he told them that it was true, that the murderer was the person he saw when he was six years old.

His mother tried her best to give him as much therapy and support as he could get. But for his sister, she was in denial until eventually, she had to embrace the fact that the person who killed her father was the person her young brother saw that day.

He can't change things now. But he wondered how are the Kims doing now. Ah, forget it they're the ones who caused his father's death anyway. But he couldn't help but feel empathy for the poor boy. God, he wishes he could help him but then again.

An hour has past and the ship is ready to sail again.
