It was a bright day. Too bright and too hot and definitely too early in the day. Shinso groaned as he put his sun glasses on, trying to protect his poor sleep deprived eyes as his girlfriend excitedly dragged him down the street.

He had hoped that it would rain, maybe get the whole day cancelled. Or failing that, that it would at least be cloudy, but there was no such luck. Add to that that'd only gotten to sleep around nine in the morning and had the misfortune to be woken up at noon, he wasn't really in the best of moods.

"I can't believe I let the two of you talk me into this," he grumbled to himself. He stuffed his free hand into the pocket of his hoodie, dragging his feet a little.

"Oh my god, Shinso! Could you be any slower?" Asido asked, looking behind her to glare at him.

He shrugged a little. "I mean, probably. Might be more trouble than it's worth, though."

Ashido puffed out her cheeks as she pouted, making a sound of frustration. It was honestly pretty cute, but Shinso wasn't going to tell her that. The last thing he needed was for her to start thinking she could use her charm against him.

He felt two hands rest on his shoulders from behind, pushing him forward. He looked over his shoulder to see his boyfriend's sheepish smile. "Sorry, but we don't want to be late, Shinso."

Shinso sighed, letting his weight drag a little more since Midoriya could take it. "Whatever, just let me know when  can nap."

"You can nap when we get there," Ashido said. But could he, when his hyper active girlfriend was excitedly dragging him off to the beach. Dd she really think she would leave him alone long enough for him to catch a nap? "Which would be happening much sooner if you would hurry up."

"You wanted this, Ashido. You get to work for it."

Ashido grumbled from the front while Midoriya laughed softly behind him. It was a great combination of sounds and he loved them for how expressive they were. He smiled and was very happy that she hadn't turned around to see it.

Once they got to the beach, Shinso stood off to the side and watched them as they set everything up. They laid out a blanket, a large umbrella, a small cooler, and Asido dumped out an entire backpacks worth of toys.

"Seriously, Ashido?" Shinso asked as he leaned down to pick through the pile. "Water balloons?"

"I don't judge how you have fun," she said, sticking her tongue out at him and snatching her balloons from his hands.

He pulled down his sun glasses to give her a flat look. "Yes you do. You complained about it on the way here, remember, when you dragged me to the beach instead of letting me sleep."

"Sleep isn't fun! She argued.

Midoriya placed himself between them both, laying a hand on their shoulder. "Didn't you guys do enough arguing on the way here?" he asked. "This is supposed to be fun."

"I was promised the chance to sleep," Shinso pointed out.

Ashido waved her arms in frustration as she growled. "Shinso! You idiot! This is supposed to e a date! You can't sleep through it."

Shinso deliberately pulled his glasses back up and laid out on the blanket. "Watch me."

Ashido pulled at her hair in frustration before standing and grabbing her bag. "I'm gonna change into my swimsuit!" she announced as she marched off.

Midoriya watched her, letting out a sigh before turning to Shinso. "You shouldn't tease her so much."

"She shouldn't be so easily worked up," he answered.

"I'm the one that has to calm her down, you know. I hate being in between you two."

Shinso sighed, pulling his sun glasses down to look at Midoriya. He reached out to take his boyfriend's hand and rubbed the back of it with his thumb. "I know, sorry. She'll calm down on her own, though."

"Do you have to provoke her so much? She just wanted to have fun with you, today."

"Yeah, and I just wanted to sleep. Which she promised to let me do and we both know that she won't. Like at all." He placed a hand under his head, closing his eyes as he got comfortable. "And we will have fun. We always have fun."

"I'll get her to leave you alone for at least a little while," Midoriya told him. He reached out to pet Shinso's hair. Shinso felt a shiver of pleasure go through and his body relaxed. There a few minutes of silence that past between them, Shinso still holding onto Midoriya's hand while the other carded through his hair. It was peaceful. The kind of peaceful that he only shared with Midoriya, since his girlfriend rarely had it in her to sit still in the same way.

Like quite a few moments of peace between them, Ashido broke it.

"I'm back!" she proclaimed, pouncing on Midoriya's back and wrapping her arms around his neck. She had three ice cream cones in her hand, two in her left and one in the right, but she was paying more attention to Midoriya and trying to press their cheeks together.

"Ashido, you're going to drip all over Midoriya," Shinso chiding, sitting up to take the chocolate ice cream from her right hand.

"Hey! Who said that you get any?" She responded. "These are for Midoriya and me!"

Shinso pulled his glasses down, meeting her eyes as he took a slow, exaggerated lick of the ice cream. "Is that right?" Ashido blushed and he looked over to see Midoriya blushing as well. He grinned and leaned closer to them both, taking another slow lick. "Wanna take it back."

"Sh-Shinso!" Midoriya stuttered in a panic. "You can't just...just..." His face reddened further and he took the strawberry ice cream from Ashido and pretended to be very absorbed in eating it.

Ashido clutched her own mint chocolate ice cream close to her. "N-no fair! You can't just..." She hide her face in Midoriya's shoulder as she yelled out, "Shinso, you tease!"

"Who says I'm teasing?" he asked as he leaned closer.

Midoriya was half turned away from them, looking over his shoulder as his eyes quickly cut between them.

Shinso leaned closer to Ashido where she was still hiding behind their boyfriend. "Midoriya pointed out that we were fighting to much earlier." He reached out and placed his hand under her chin, lifting her face and making her blush harder. "So we should kiss and make up, right?"

Ashido's eyes were wide and she looked frozen in place, caught between nervousness and anticipation. He waited until she leaned forhead a little, to turn his head and press a kiss to Midoriya's cheek.

"Sorry for fighting, Midoriya."

There was a pause before Ashido exclaimed, "Shinso, you're the worst!"

"I-I thought I was gonna die!" Midoriya exclaimed, pressing on hand to his face to hide behind.

Shinso laughed. "Sorry, I couldn't help myself." His hand was still under Ashido's chin, so he pulled her closer to him. "Come here. A proper kiss, alright?"

Ashido nodded, looking determined now instead of embarrassed. He kind of missed the cute, nervousness from earlier, but he like the fierce look Ashido was giving him as well. But because he couldn't help but tease her, he took a lick of his chocolate ice cream before leaning in to kiss her, slipping his tongue between her slightly parted lips. She made a small noise of surprise, that turned into a whimper as he deepened the kiss further. When he pulled away, Ashido let out a small shuddering breath.

"Was that better?"

Ashido turned away, pressing her ice cream to her lips and clutching it with both hands. She nodded silently.

Shinso grinned and looked at Midoriya. "Would you like one two, Midoriya?"

"I'm not sure I could survive being kissed like that," Midoriya answered.

Shinso laughed. "You two wanted me to have fun with you, right? Well, I'm having fun."

"Who knew Shinso was so dangerous," Midoriya whispered to Ashido. She nodded in agreement, but still didn't say anything.

Shinso stretched out onto his side as he went back to his ice cream. He watched his partners as they whispered to each other about him, laughing quietly. Even though he dragged his feet in coming here, he was pretty sure he this would end up being a great day.
