This is a side fic and thus has no schedule, please don't go asking for updates.
“Hey, do you have a dream, Zumi?”
“Of course I have a dream Kacchan. Everyone has a dream, right?”
“But, what is it? If I will be a hero, and you don’t want to be one… what do you want to do”
“I have a simple dream; I really want it to come true.”
“So, what is it?”
“You have to keep it a secret, you can’t tell anyone. Promise?”
“I promise.”
“My dream…”
~*~*~*~
“You passed?”
“Of course I did!”
“You are finally achieving your dream; I am so proud of you Kacchan!”
“Yeah… as for your dream… I have something I want to give you…”
“Kacchan…”

3 years Bakugo Katsuki was in U.A for, learning and training to be a hero. He aimed for his dreams full force, he had somehow acquired a bunch of idiots as friends, and he was sure that they would end up driving him up the wall. Sure they were okay, and Katsuki didn’t mind them too much… but at times he found them too pushy, too nosey. He tried very hard to make sure they would push their way into his private life, and a lot of the time, it felt like he was constantly fighting them on that matter. Didn’t they get he wasn’t a very social guy?
And that was the cause of the loud voices that day, Katsuki rarely had a night out for a few reasons, one being he wasn’t really a drinker, he hated the idea of alcohol, his mother put him off it a long time ago. He knew his friends went out weekly, the day changed depending on their schedules, but it was every week without fail, and every week they would try and get Katsuki to join them.
“Come on Baku, you never hang out with us!” Kaminari Denki complained, he was pouting at his friend.
“I am busy.” Katsuki replied, not looking up from his paper work, he wanted to get it done before he had to leave. He didn’t want to take his paper work home with him, he felt better leaving it at the agency, and out of mind.
“It’s been three years since graduating and not once have you hung out with us.” Kirishima stated. “We’re your friends dude, make a little time for us.”
“We work together, as a team when I very clearly wanted to go on alone, is that not good enough?” Katsuki said, glaring in their direction.
“Just one-night Baku, give us one night out where you join us.” Ashido added, Katsuki sighed.
“I’ll think about it.” He replied. “Now, can I try and complete this without you guys annoying me?” They turned away from him and he huffed, getting back to work. They didn’t see him pull out his phone and type out a quick message. He quietly got on with his work as he waited patiently for a reply.
Katsuki shut of his computer and filed away his paper work as he prepared to leave, he thought back to the reply and smiled softly, somethings would never really change…
“When are you all next heading out?” Katsuki asked, the group stared at him in shock.
“Wait… seriously?” Kirishima asked
“Yeah, tell me before I change my mind.” Katsuki glared.
“This Friday.” Ashido told him, Katsuki nodded before heading to his car. As much as he loved his job as a hero… nothing made him happier than getting home. But even he couldn’t have foretold how stupid his friends really were.
~*~*~*~
“Are you sure?”
“Yes, I will be perfectly fine! Go have fun!”
Katsuki huffed as he drove to the bar his friends told him to meet them at. He walked in and immediately saw them, the group already happily drinking away. He ordered a non-alcoholic Lemon-Lime Bitters before going over and joining them.
“Bakubro! You actually came!” Kirishima beamed, Katsuki huffed as he sat down.
“A bunch of fucking light weights.” He said, taking a sip of his own drink.
“Am not.” Kiri pouted.
“What you get?” Kami asked curiously
“Just a non-alcoholic Lemon-Lime Bitters.” Katsuki replied. “I don’t drink, and nothing you say will change that. I am driving myself back tonight after all.”
“You live far?” Ashido asked
“Further than any of you.” He said, but not giving anything more away.
“You should let us round yours one night.” Kirishima said.
“Nope, never.” Katsuki said.
“You probably still live with you parents right?” The group began laughing when Katsuki didn’t respond.
Part way through the night, Katsuki headed to the bathroom, he left his wallet on the table, his friends were quick to search it, and found a house key. They were quick to make an imprint of the key, before putting everything back in place, acting as if nothing happened when Katsuki finally returned.
Katsuki was glad to get home after the night out, he was quick to collapse on the bed, sighing softly as a warm body pulled him in to a close embrace.
~*~*~*~
“Okay, I found it!” Ashido grinned happily, rushing over to the Baku-squad, when Katsuki was absent as he was on patrol. “I found out where he lives!”
“Really? Sweet!” Kaminari grinned. “And we have the copy of the key right?”
“Yep.” Sero held it up.
“So, we just need to make a plan. We all leave before him on Wednesday, we go to his and surprise him there.”
The day arrived and Sero drove them up to a nice neighbourhood, the houses quite far part, they could just about spot the neighbouring house’s roof further up the road.
“This place is like… extremely high class… right… how much does he make? Can’t be more than us right?” Kami frowned.
“Well, let’s go and take a peek inside. We can question him later.” Ashido hopped out of the car, the rest quickly followed. The garden of the house was huge, surround by a large hedge that had been cared for. Ashido reached the door first and pulled out the key..
It unlocked the door with no problems… This was the place!
They barely got the door open when their vision went dark…
