Work Text:

It was 5.35 in the afternoon when Katsuki finished his patrol. Nothing much had happened since the underground Shibuya take out. The sun isn’t very high, but it was a still pretty bright afternoon. He walked over to the agency’s parking building, pathways littered with scattered sakura petals. He grumbled, one thing he truly hate on spring is also having so much petals on roadways.

Fuck, I’ll have to ask Deku to clean our garden, we’re the only ones whose gonna be home tonight.

As the elevator dinged to the second basement, he met the very familiar mop of green curls. Izuku stood in his casual clothing, sporting a white tee too tight for his chest muscle and his black jeans, his red shoes were as eye-catching as his freckled smile. The same freckled smile that greeted Katsuki.

“Kacchan!” Izuku waved.

“Deku, how the fuck are you so early? How long have you been here?” Katsuki questioned, shrugging his hand into the pocket of his shirt pants.

“Burning-san finished the meeting early today, but I’ve only been here for ten minutes, really. I’m guessing she’s antsy with her wedding plan with Mirko-san.” Izuku laughed nervously.

Katsuki snorted, knowing how obviously smitten their seniors are at the HQ. Katsuki walked some more toward his car, Izuku walking beside him.

“Tch, those fuckers think they’re slick, yet we’re the ones getting reprimanded for giving pecks.” Katsuki swung his black leather jacket over his shoulder, contrasting with his blue shirt.

Izuku gave a light jab at Katsuki, giggling at his remarks.

“Kacchan c’mon, they’re our seniors. Besides, you and Eichan are way too obvious when giving pecks. Try be more subtle as Shouchan!”

Katsuki pushed the button from his pocket, the black Corolla beeping in front of them. He took the driver’s seat as Izuku took the opposite.

“Well I’m going to make Halfie spill his secret tomorrow, maybe he and shitty hair would’ve studied something on their train trip back here.”

Katsuki pulled over, paying the parking ticket with his card and left the agency HQ. The sun was already halfway down and he rolled down the window to feel the crisp breeze of spring sunset, something he can actually tolerate during springtime. Izuku did the same with his window, mumbling something. Katsuki can’t hear against the slight breeze that passed, but heard something along the line “…tomorrow, huh?”.

Both Shouto and Eijjirou were assigned out of the city to help with a joint operation with Pro Hero Wash in another district. Today was supposed to be their last day, and messages on their private group chat indicated that things went well on their side and that they are finishing with site clean-up. They should be arriving tomorrow morning.

“Yeah tomorrow, so we should cook some shit for our lovers, I can’t stand another evidence of half and half eating instant cold soba.”

Izuku laughed, his smile and pearly teeth matched with the orangey and purple ambience of the sunset sky. The smell of flowers felt fresh as Izuku’s eyes glittered and his freckles somehow shined.

Fuck, I love Deku so fucking much.

Izuku’s smiles are always so beautiful it’s distracting. At this point of their relationship, he knew he had to look back on the road as fast as he could or else he could really get them in trouble.

“Hey Kacchan, spring this year is so beautiful.” Izuku looked over through his window again, seeing beach that was eerily similar to the one near their childhood neighborhood. Yet, the way the shoreline sparkled gold really excited him. There was snicker form his side.

“You say that all the time, it’s because of the katsudon food stall at the festival now, isn’t it?”

Katsuki felt a soft slap to his chest from a scarred back hand, scarred quite similarly like his own.

“C’mon, that food stall is only one thing out of all great things to do in spring!”

“Yeah well I’m gonna make an even better katsudon than that old man does.”

They finally pulled up to their porch. Katsuki turned off the engine and was about to open his car door, when Izuku held him back by the shoulder.

“Kacchan, can you please close your eyes?”

Katsuki raised his eyebrows.

“Just, please?”, Izuku begged with his typical puppy eyes. Katsuki would like to say it doesn’t work on him anymore, but Izuku had been acting weird for the past few days. He looked excited, slightly… mischievous? Katsuki knew something was up, but the not taking down underground yakuza group doesn’t mean he’s not busy. So he let him go.

“Fine, whatever, I’ll close it once we’re out.”

“Okay.” Izuku replied, his voice is more under his breath but firm.

They both got out of their car, Katsuki closing his eyes. Izuku held one of his firm arm, guiding him toward the front door.

“Okay, don’t open it until I say so, okay?”

“Fucking fine, just do it Deku.”

Izuku opened the front door.

“Okay Kacchan, open your eyes!”

Katsuki opened his eyes slowly, only for them to widen over another two figures already standing inside their house. The two that wasn’t supoosed to come until tomorrow morning. He scowled in confusion feeling slightly betrayed that nobody told them his other two lovers would arrive earlier. He was about to blow up because he kinda miss the two and this was not in his plan. Not until his three lovers popped their confetti out of nowhere.

“Surprise!”

Katsuki blinked.

Surprise?

“Happy birthday, Kacchan!”

“Happy birthday, Bakubabe!”

“Happy birthday, Katsuki.”

Oh, fuck, it’s my birthday. How the fuck did I not remember?

“Kacchan surprise! Do you like it?”

“Wait, I thought you two aren’t supposed to be back until tomorrow?”

Eijirou laughed, circling Shouto’s hip on his side.

“Our team finished off early, and some local pro heroes volunteered.” Shouto said in his usual stoic voice, but his expression was soft.

“Yeah, they said they’re gonna give us a hand since it ended very smoothly.” Eijirou added, opening his other arm wide to invite the top ten Wonder Duo.

Katsuki looked over them, he felt something he’d rarely admit unless it’s with the four of them.

He felt warm. He felt loved.

And so for quite a brief time, his face truly soften and his smile came out genuine, like he let go everything that held it back. The smile was so carefree, so sweet, it’s so rare to catch Katsuki smiling like that unless he was basking in morning afterglow.

Izuku that saw it gasped, feeling like he’d bawl his eyes out for the nth time this week. Katsuki accepted the embrace invitation, pulling Izuku along to the arms of familiar body heat, familiar perfume, familiar shampoo smell they shared because they were so often called for an emergency deployment.

Katsuki is home with three loves of his life.

They’re home.

And truly, that’s really what he needed for his birthday, having six pair of strong arms worshiping his body for the treat that night, just as his own worshipped theirs. The night was fun because they finally had dinner after a week of not in full team, laughing their asses out on funny things that happened during the mission. The niht was sexy with how they spend the rest of their night making love to each other, feeling each other so close after being so long apart. But most of all, it was special, because even if all four of them still wobbled their legs afterwards, they managed to each pull out a small red box.

“Kacchan,”

“Katsuki,”

“Kats,”

They opened, each has a simple golden ring with a beautiful small diamond etched on the center. Each are slightly different, but diamond was identical. The 121 diamond cut that both Katsuki and and Izuku been eyeing every time they passed the small shop near their agency HQ.

“Marry us.”

Wide-eyed Katsuki stared back at the the three, with only Eijirou managed to get on his knee on the floor, while the other two only sat on the bed too exhausted. Katsuki  grabbed his pants that somehow ended up right beside his sitting position, which he silently grateful of. He looked like he rummaged through his pockets, only to pull out the same red box, opening it to similar ring and same cut diamond.

It was silent but now Katsuki was sure it wasn’t just his heart that felt warm that night. Izuku started sniffling beside Shouto curling up into him with relief and hopefulness. Eijirou took Katsuki’s side, and they all held each other in their arms. Shouto let out silent tears, whil EIjirou joined Izuku choruses of small sobs. Katsuki laughed as tears fell onto his cheeks.

But he was glad these tears were of love, and of more memories to come from his boyf-

No, his three fiancé,

And soon to be his husbands.
