Lan Wangji’s eyes go wide as he spits. “Ridiculous!”“Yeah. Is this another one to ten thing? Because is one like very little or is one nothing? Cause I mean zero would be nothing, technically speaking…” Wei Wuxian rambles nervously, wringing his hands.
“How about this week?”
“Err…” Wei Wuxian stares at Lan Wangji. Lan Wangji meets his stare. Then turns back to the marriage counsellor and raises a single eyebrow.
“Including the weekend?” His voice is impassive but the tips of his ears are tinted red.
“Lan Zhan!” Wei Wuxian exclaims, blushing. There is an awkward silence as the counsellor shuffles some papers.
“Describe how you first met.” He says finally, in a mild tone.
Wei Wuxian smiles down at his lap, playing with his ring.
“It was in Colombia.”
“Bogota.” Lan Wangji adds with a quirk of his lips.
