Summary
This is a rather long fic about growing up, responsibilities, and missed chances. I wrote it over two days in a sort of daze, and lord I can't be bothered to re-read it (it's a couple of months old). It's set in the Witcher universe but I do make shit up so, take it with some salt grains. There's a lot of angst, coming of age, and eventual happy. I call Jaskier 'Julian' in this fic, because it makes more sense.
Or: You move to Toussaint and grow up with Julian. Your paths divide when you come of age, your fates seemingly never to meet again – but is there more to the mystery of the world than you know?

This is hands down one of the best pieces of literary craftsmanship I have ever read. Author is an artist with words, and I was floored by the emotion that was steeped in every word. If I could leave a thousand kudos, I would.
