Izuku Midoriya was scrolling through the latest hero news of the day as he walked back to the dorms. He couldn't wait to get to his room to write down the information about two new pros who made their debut today. Vio-Blaze and Ankilo. Vio-Blaze had a fire quirk called Amethyst Burn. He could control purple flames. Ankilo was his partner. She had a transformation type quirk that let her turn into an ankylosaurus. Izuku was so wrapped up in the news about the two new heroes that he didn't see where he was walking. He walked into the person in front of him knocking them over. Snapping out of his trance he saw what he had done.
"Oh my god! Tokage I'm so sorry!" He put his hand out to help her up. She took it and got to her feet. The green-haired girl brushed off the dust from her skirt.
"Damn dude. If you wanted me bent over with my ass up you should at least buy me dinner first." She laughed as she cleaned herself up. The fall hadn't hurt since she was already bent over tying her shoe.
"I-I-I-I. I'm sorry! I-I-It was an accident!" His face blushed bright red at what she was hinting at.
"Relax greenie. What's got your mind so wrapped up? Been training today?" She looked over what Izuku was wearing. He had black shorts and a green t-shirt that read 'Work Out Shirt'. He was covered in dirt and grass stains.
"Yeah I've been working on improving my airstrikes. I was reading the hero news. Two heroes made their debut today! One guy had a fire quirk, and his partner had a transformation quirk that turns her into a dinosaur!" He happily told Tokage about the heroes.
"Wait did you say dinosaur!? What kind?! Carnivore or herbivore?! Big? Small? Come with me Midoriya!" Her smile was full of sharp teeth. She grabbed his hand and ran to the class B dorms. Her hair sparkled in the glow of the evening light. Izuku was blushing as she held his hand. They went into the dorms. Tokage simply ignored the surprised questioning from her classmates. She ran into her room and pulled out an encyclopedia. Izuku stood there as the green-haired girl sat on her bed. He saw her room was like his, but instead of All Might merchandise everywhere it was all dinosaurs.
"Um, Tokage? Why am I here?" He nervously shifted his weight while looking around.
"Hang on Greenie! Come here. Show me what she turned into." She smiled and held the book up to Izuku. He looked at the ones on the page.
"It's none of those. It was a big dinosaur with a club tail." He told her. Her eyes lit up at that.
"Ankylosaurus! Ankylosaurus is an armored dinosaur. It was from the Cretaceous Period, about 68–66 million years ago, in western North America, making it among the last of the non-avian dinosaurs. It was named by Barnum Brown in the early 1900s! That's so cool! Dinosaur quirks are really rare. Thank you for showing me this Midoriya. As you can tell my passion is dinosaurs. What's yours?" She waved around her room while she talked to him. Izuku was stunned by her knowledge.
"Oh um. I'm obsessed with quirks and learning all about them. Mine developed really late so I spent all my time learning about them. I have a page in my notebooks for each of my classmates in 1-A and a few from your class too." He rubbed the back of his head as he blushed a bit.
"Oh? You got a page on me?" She smirked and crossed her arms.
His blush grew. "Actually I do have a small entry about you. All I have is your name, hero name, name of your quirk, and a drawing of you."
The smirk on Tokage's face grew wide. "A drawing huh? Like what you see Mi. Dor. Iya." She slowly said his name while getting close to his ear. "I gotta say. I like what I see." Izuku felt his face grow hot. Her arms wrapped around him.
"T-T-Tokage! It's n-not like that! I mean. You are attractive. I mean. Oh man." *mutter* *mutter*.
"Midoriya! Relax! I'm joking dude!" She was laughing so hard tears were in the corners of her eyes. "It's nice to know you think I'm attractive." She winked at him causing him to start blushing and muttering again.
"Maybe I should go now." Izuku finally spoke after calming down. "Thank you for sharing your passion with me Tokage." As he was about to leave Tokage called out to him.
"Midoriya wait! I know I'm abrasive and a bit much at times, but maybe at lunch tomorrow we can fill up the entry about me in your notebook?" She asked with the same big smile she had the whole evening.
"That would be great Tokage! From what I've heard you've got a really cool quirk!" Izuku smiled and waved goodbye to the green-haired girl. He left the class B dorms. Walking over to his dorm he couldn't stop thinking about how he was going to learn about a new quirk tomorrow.
Back in her room Tokage had a bit of a blush on her face. She would shamelessly flirt with Izuku any chance she got, and that wasn't often at all. She did it for the reaction, but thinking about her fellow greenette made her start to think. 'Do I like mop-top? Feeling his muscles didn't help. Ok Set. It's nothing serious!' She went into the common room to get her mind off of the green-haired boy.

Izuku walked into the class A dorms. As expected Iida came up to him swinging his arms in robotic movements. "Midoriya! You look like you've been drug through a forest! Go clean yourself up. You're just in time for dinner!"
Izuku nodded to Iida and went to the shower. While he was standing under the hot water his mind drifted back to what happened. His mind focused on the way her hair gleamed under the orange light of the sunset. Tokage's smile with her sharp teeth. Her giddy excitement when she was showing Izuku the dinosaurs. Then his mind went to how soft her hand felt on his. How nice it felt when she got so close to him. He blushed at his own thoughts. 'Bad Izuku! We barely know each other. Don't make it more awkward than it already will be.' His mind stayed where it was despite his inward protests. He went to eat dinner with his friends after he left the shower and got dressed.
"So what did you do after class Deku?" Uraraka asked while she was eating.
"Oh, I went to train in the woods. On the way back I ran into Tokage from class B. We talked about the news. She took me back to her room to look at dinosaurs." Izuku told them without thinking about his wording.
"So a hottie asked you up to her room and you talked about dinosaurs? That honestly doesn't surprise me Midoriya!" Sero laughed at what Izuku had told the class.
"Midoriya doesn't treat women as 'hotties' or 'babes'. He is the embodiment of a gentleman. Some of us could learn a thing or two from him." Iida looked over to Kaminari, Sero, and Mineta.
"Thanks Iida. It's not like that guys. She just loves dinosaurs and I mentioned a quirk about it." He wasn't about to tell them about her flirting with him. After dinner Izuku went straight to bed. It had been a long day. As he drifted off his mind was filled with long flowing green hair. A smile with sharp teeth. Lastly a flirty personality that he found quite enjoyable.

It was lunchtime at U.A. Izuku was wondering if Tokage wanted to work on her entry today. He didn't have to wait long to find out the answer. While he was eating with Iida, Todoroki, and Uraraka Izuku felt arms wrap around him. He immediately became flustered.
"Hey Midoriya. I bet you're ready to learn about my quirk. It'll have to wait for this evening. Meet me at my dorm and I'll be ready to give you all the information you need." She said with a grin that Izuku wasn't sure he should trust. Lunch finished shortly after. The rest of the day was a quick one. It probably felt that way to Izuku because he was about to learn about something he always loved. A new quirk. As he walked over to the class B dorms he started to think about that smile. He knocked on the door and Tokage was the one to open it. Her eyes lit up. She took his hand and ran up to her room. Once inside she shut the door. Izuku noticed what she was wearing. A tank top with dinosaurs all over it and very short blue shorts. He blushed a bit.
"So are you ready Tokage?" He opened his book and flipped to her page.
"Mhm. My quirk is called Lizard Tail Splitter. I can separate any part of my body and control it. Want a demonstration of it, Midoriya?" Her tone was full of a sweetness that made Izuku nervous.
"Yeah. Go ahead." He started to write what she had already told him when he felt something wet run along his neck. He looked up to see her standing there with her mouth open. After catching his attention her tongue went back into her mouth. Izuku didn’t know why he felt this way, but he liked it. “Um…” his mouth didn’t work. His mind was so scattered that he couldn’t write. Tokage took his notebook for about 15 minutes writing down all about her quirk and possible applications, and how she used it.
“There you go green bean.” She smiled at him. “I even put something. Extra. In there for you.” She sat down beside him. Tokage wrapped her arms around his left arm. “I really like you.” She laid her head on his shoulder.
“I. Really. Like you. Too. Tokage.” He was stiff and didn’t know what to do.
“ Call me Setsuna. Iz~u~ku.”
“Ok. Would you like to go out with me, Setsuna?” He asked quickly due to nerves. Slowly relaxing into the embrace.
“Sure. This weekend there’s an expo at the museum! It’s all about dinosaurs.” She sat up with a wide smile.
“Your smile is really pretty.” He blushed as he looked at Setsuna.
“Th-Thanks. People don’t usually say that about me.” She blushed at his words.
“Setsuna. I didn’t have friends until this year. Most people would bully me. No girl was ever interested in me so this is new to me too hahaha. Having friends has given me more confidence to say things like that.” He laughed because he knew this amazing girl actually liked him.
“Izuku.” She gave him a soft hug, but it wasn't a flirty hug. It was sincere and full of care. “I can’t imagine what that was like. So I’m going to make up to you all the things you’ve missed out on!” She let go of him and they spent the next few hours learning about each other’s past. Izuku stood up to leave for the day.
“Setsuna. I had a lot of fun tonight." He gave her a hug and he went back to his dorm. Izuku called his friends to the common room. “Guys. Setsuna Tokage and I have a date on Saturday. It happened so fast, but we both actually like each other. Oh my god. I have a date. In two days! What do I do? What do I wear? What do we talk about? Do I pay for lunch? Should I get her a gift? What if we kiss? She already licked my neck. What if she wants to do more than kiss? Should I bring protection just in case? AHHHH! What if things go too fast?” Izuku started to panic.
“Well I must say this is unexpected Midoriya. Congratulations." Iida patted his back.
“Way to go Deku! She’s a catch!” Uraraka smiled brightly at her best friend.
"Did you say lick your neck? Ribbit." Tsu asked with her index finger on her chin.
“Midoriya it’s ok. Calm down. I know how to help you. Iida, you should come with us too.” Todoroki grabbed Izuku’s arm and took him to the greenette’s room. “Ok let’s start with where is the date?”
“It’s in the museum. There’s an expo about dinosaurs.”
“Hmm. Ok, let’s see.” Todoroki and Iida went through all of the clothes in the closet. Iida handed Izuku a pair of tan jeans and a blue t-shirt with a green gecko on it.
“I do believe she would like this. She loves reptiles, correct?”
“Yeah! She does!” Izuku smiled at the selection Iida made.
“Alright. You should get her something small, Midoriya. It’s the first date after all. You should definitely pay for lunch. She’ll be impressed. Since it’s something she’ll love. Don’t force the conversation. Let it go the way she wants. As for protection... I’ll leave that one to you.” Todoroki gave advice to his friend. “Tomorrow we will go to the store to get her something.”
“Midoriya if you feel like things are moving faster than you would like you should say that to Tokage. If she truly cares about you she will be understanding. This is a first for both of you. Neither of you should rush things. Ok?” Izuku nodded at what Iida had said.
“She may have a flirty personality, but Tokage isn’t a slut. Be the same kind-hearted Midoriya that got me to accept my fire half. Don’t go into this expecting something that you don't feel ready for."
“Thank you guys so much. I’m not going to let you down! For some reason, I can see this lasting with her.” Izuku smiled at his friends. They parted ways for the evening. Izuku opened up his notebook to see what Setsuna had written. It was so in-depth and analytical. His mind was blown at how she broke down every aspect of her quirk. He knew Setsuna was the smartest person in class B, but this was on a whole other level. He saw the extra thing she put in. Beside her name was a heart with her phone number and ‘text me cutie’ inside.
‘How did I forget to ask her for this!’ He thought as he grabbed his phone.
IM: Hey Setsuna. It’s me.
IM: Izuku
IM: Midoriya. You probably knew that haha. I’m sorry.
ST: lol hey cutie. You don’t need to say you’re sorry.
IM: Oh ok. I read what you said about your quirk. It was so in-depth and crazy analytical! Wow! Like that breakdown was something I’ve never expected from a quirk analysis! Stealth and spying are perfect for you. And the way you can scatter your body would be great in a fight! You have such an amazing quirk! You are going to be a top hero one day!
ST: wow. Thank you izuku. Lol it’s something I’ve picked up from studying dinosaurs and reptiles most of my life.
The two talked about how nerdy they could get over their hobbies. They talked until Izuku fell asleep without realizing it.
‘Izuku probably fell asleep. I bet he looks adorable while sleeping.’ She thought as she began to yawn. ‘Maybe I should go to sleep as well.’

The next day after school Todoroki took Izuku to a shopping center to get a present for the date. “Ok Midoriya. Where do you think we should get her something?”
“Oh, I know! There’s a shop around here that carves animals and figures out of gems.” They walked to the store. A short man behind the counter greeted them. While the boys looked around Izuku saw something that caught his eye. A figure of Gang Orca made out of black jasper. ‘Oh wow! That’s so cool!’ He grabbed it and checked the price. It was a bit expensive, but with the money, he had made at Sir Nighteye’s agency he could definitely afford it and something for Setsuna. He continued to look around and a triceratops made out of emerald caught his eye. “Todoroki I found it! I think she’ll love this.” He showed him the dinosaur. He bought the figures and left the store with Todoroki.
“Alright. You’ve got that taken care of. Be sure to take the price tag off. It’s rude to give someone a gift with the price still on it.” Todoroki and Izuku walked back to the dorms.
“How do you know so much about this stuff Todoroki? No offense, but you don’t seem like a relationship guru hahaha.”
Todoroki couldn’t help but laugh at what Izuku had said. “I’m not. That’s my sister. I learned this stuff from her.”
As the two sat down in the common room Mina came over. “So Midori! Are you excited for your date?” She was jumping on the balls of her feet.
“How did you know Ashido?” He was confused since he only told four people.
“Ochako and Tsu told us, girls! Now are you excited!”
“Um yeah, I’m excited. It’s my first date. Girls never really showed an interest in me before.” He awkwardly rubbed the back of his head.
“Aww, that sucks you’re so sweet! How did nobody like you? Did you get her something?”
“I’m just plain looking I guess. Y-yeah I got her this.” He pulled out the Gang Orca figure. “Oops that’s mine. This.” He put the Gang Orca figure down and showed Mina the emerald dinosaur. “She loves dinosaurs so I figured she’d like this.”
“Woah is that made out of real emerald?” She eyed the figure in awe.
“Yeah it is.” Izuku placed it down.
“I bet that was expensive! How’d you pay for it? Did you have a little *cough- Todoroki is a sugar daddy- cough* help?” Todoroki gave her a deadpan expression.
“Hahaha no, I didn’t Sir Nighteye paid very well before you know…” Izuku laughed at Mina’s joke but trailed off at the end thinking about Sir. Izuku went upstairs and started to wrap her gift or at least attempt to wrap it. After several failed attempts he gave up. ‘I’m going to need help.’
Izuku walked over to the room of the one he thought could help him most. He saw the door was open so he knocked while opening it completely. “Hey Sero?”
Sero was hanging from the ceiling with his tape. He had his phone hung up taking selfies. He was acting like a character from the pre-quirk era. Spider-Man. “Oh hey Midoriya! What can I do for you?” He jumped down.
“I hope this doesn’t come off as rude, but can you help me wrap a present?”
“Hahaha yeah of course! When I was a kid people would ask me for help since my quirk is literally tape. So I figured I should actually learn how to wrap gifts. What have you got?” Izuku handed him the triceratops. “Hmm. This is oddly shaped. I wouldn't be able to wrap it the way it is. Let’s see I should have a small box to put this in.” As the tape hero looked around for a small box he came to a realization. “This is for Tokage isn't it? You have a date, don’t you? You sly dog.” He found the box.
“Yeah we have a date tomorrow.”
“Congrats dude. I hope it goes well.” Sero gave him a thumbs up while beginning to wrap the present. “There you go! Not too bad if I say so myself!”
“Thank you so much Sero! Oh crap! I forgot to take the tag off. Can you please help me again?” He unwrapped the box and took the tag off. Sero wrapped it up once more.
“Have fun on your date Midoriya!” The two said goodnight to each other and Izuku went to bed as soon as he was back in his room. Tomorrow was going to be exciting.

The next day Izuku got ready with excitement. His first date! He called his mom and told her. She was thrilled for her baby boy. This was so amazing to him he called a few more people to share the news. “All Might I have my first date today! I can’t believe this!”
“Congratulations Young Midoriya! That is quite the achievement. I never had any luck there.”
The next person he called was his newest mentor who was still in the hospital recovering from her arm being ripped off. “Hey Mirko! I know you’re still in the hospital with your injuries, but I wanted to see how you’re doing. I also have some news.”
“Heh. You’re the first one to call you know that? I’m good. It’s weird not having an arm, but oh well! I want to get back out there and kick some ass! My ankle is 100% ready to go. The only reason I’m still in this damn place is because they want to fit me for a prosthetic arm. Why the hell would I want that?!? It’s not even my dominant arm! What’s the news you got for me Izuku? You increase the strength in those kicks?” She sounded like she was ready to leave. Missing an arm be damned there were bad guys to fight.
“I’m glad you’re doing better. I lost one mentor not too long ag—.”
“Izuku. I’m not dying anytime soon. Got it? Now spill it!”
“I’ve got my first date today! I know you probably don’t care that much, but I wanted to share with the important people in my life.”
“That’s not what I was expecting. Good job. I honestly didn’t think you had it in you with how timid and shy you were when we first met. It surprised me when you wanted me to train you. But hey. Any boost in confidence is a good thing. The docs are back with a new arm. Gotta go. Be ready to train your ass off come Wednesday!” She hung up causing Izuku to pale at what she was going to put him through. She had said her training methods were more intense than Endeavor's. As he walked to the class B dorms he thought about what crazy training the rabbit hero would have him do.
“Hey, Izuku! Oh shit, you look like you’ve seen a ghost. What happened?” Setsuna met him halfway. She was wearing a purple sundress with a dark grey jacket.
“Oh hey Setsuna. I was talking to my new mentor. I think I may die on Wednesday. I’m not quite sure yet. Haha.” He laughed at the look of worried confusion on her face. “It’s ok. I'm pretty sure Mirko won't kill me. You look very beautiful."
“Thank you. You should teach a class here.” She smiled at his compliment.
“Huh? What could I teach?” They walked to the train station to get a ride to the part of town where the museum was.
“How to be a sweetheart 101. Or this is how you treat women 101. Something like that.” She smiled and gave a sideways glance to see him blushing up a storm.
“I don’t know about that.” He rubbed the back of his head. They rode the train holding hands.
“So. You geek out over quirks like I do dinosaurs, and you have yet to tell me about your quirk. What is it?" She leaned up to look into his eyes.
“Oh um just a power type.” He felt awful about lying to Setsuna.
“No it isn’t. Power types can’t fly. Power types can’t create dark tendrils from their arms. So. Why are you lying Izuku?” She squeezed his hand and smirked.
“It's complicated. I’ll explain it to you someday, but I have to talk to someone first…” He looked away with shame for not telling her.
“It’s that top-secret huh? I understand, but I want you to know I expect an answer at some point.” She smiled then gently bit his neck. That caused Izuku to jolt.
“Setsuna!! We’re in p-public!”
“I know. Here’s our stop.” They got off and went straight for the museum. It was only a few minutes away from the station. Once in the museum Izuku was awestruck. Holograms of each dinosaur on display walked around the area. It was unlike anything either of them had seen. Setsuna started to explain everything she knew about each dinosaur they stopped at. “These guys came first! So we should call ducks Hadrosaurids billed birds hahaha!” The joy on her face made Izuku’s heart skip a beat. They went through the whole expo with smiles on their faces.
GROWL.
“Hahahaha!!!!! I guess we are hungry eh Izu? No joke, but I could eat a whole cow!” They both laughed. Seeing a small dinner across from the museum Izuku led the way. While they happily ate Izuku told some stories about his time at Endeavor’s agency.
“Then Burnin smacked the back of Kacchan’s head and said ‘cut the shit! Being an angry little pomeranian won’t get you anywhere Blasty!’ He got even angrier, and that made her laugh even harder. It was hard not to laugh at him. He didn’t talk to me for 9 whole days because of it.”
“Oh my god! That’s awesome!” Setsuna wiped away tears from laughing so hard. "I wish I could've put bomb boy in his place during training but oh well I guess." After they left the restaurant they decided to walk home. It was relaxing for both of them being in the other’s presence. It had been the best date ever for both Izuku and Setsuna. Once outside the class B dorms Izuku gave her a kiss. Pulling her close. Setsuna was shocked because Izuku didn't make moves. He was a sweetheart, but he wasn't smooth by any means.
“Today was amazing, Setsuna. I wouldn’t want to do that with anyone other than you. Hey where's that flirty side?" He teased her while she stood there with a pink blush.
"I had an amazing time with you Izuku. I can contain myself when the moment calls for it! I was just surprised. That's all." Today has been wonderful for both of them.
"Setsuna. Does this make us boyfriend and girlfriend?" Izuku asked while shifting his weight from side to side.
"Well yeah! I'd love to be your girlfriend! " She smiled at Izuku.
"I. Um got you this. I didn't know when to give it to you." He handed her the box.
"Oh my god Izuku… This is gorgeous! Haha it's green too! It's perfect thank you." She wrapped her arms around Izuku's neck and squeezed tightly. Setsuna knew she and Izuku would be together for a long time. They said their goodbyes and shared the same thought as Izuku walked back to the class A dorms.
'I can't believe how much I want this!'

Today was Wednesday. Izuku lay on his back on the floor of a dojo. His hero costume was torn to ribbons. The gloves Hatsume gave him we’re broken. His iron soles were cracked. ‘I’d rather fight Muscular again. Or make out with Setsuna in public.’
“DID I SAY YOU COULD TAKE A BREAK IZUKU!?!?!?” Mirko stomped the ground beside him.
“No ma’am!” He forced himself up to look at the rabbit hero. He slowly stood up. His legs were shaking uncontrollably. He went to land a kick, but was stopped by her Luna Arch attack. Causing him to crash back to the ground.
“Ok for real we can take a break. I don’t want the first person I’ve trained to die on me.”
“Not…. gonna….. die….”
“Yeah ok, tough guy. That’s big talk from someone who hasn’t been able to hit me once in five hours of training!” She handed him a bottle of water and Izuku greedily sucked it down. “So. How was the date with Setsuna?”
“How… did….. you… know… who… it was?” He took several deep breaths to relax.
“Izuku. I’m now the number three pro. I know things.” She laughed. "All Might told me. He said he saw the two of you in a restaurant having lunch."
Izuku couldn’t argue with that. “It was great! We went to the museum where they were having an expo about dinosaurs. She is so smart. She knew everything about the dinosaurs on display. She’s beautiful, smart, caring in her own way, and very flirty. I didn’t think I’d like that, but I do. I don't want to say I love her because it feels too soon, but I don't know what this feeling is.”
“I’m glad you enjoyed it. Don't expect me to help with feelings. Now. GET BACK TO IT IZUKU!” She swung a kick that he barely was able to dodge. With her as his new mentor and Setsuna as his girlfriend. Izuku couldn’t help but feel like he was getting stronger. He had to for Setsuna. That date was only the first of many more to come.
