Summary
Commander Spock receives a transmission explaining that his daughter has run away from home. He meets her on the steps of Starfleet, along with his Captain and crew. The longer she stays with him, the more he wants to keep her on the Enterprise. After she explains why she left Vulcan, Spock makes it his mission to make sure she doesn't go back.
