Shoto sighs as he tosses yet another crumpled piece of paper into the waste basket by his desk. Why was it so hard to come up with a gift for izuku? He loved all might but todoroki couldn't find a single piece of collector merchandise that he didn't already own. He knew izuku would appreciate whatever todoroki got him but it was their one year anniversary soon and it had to be perfect, but what could he possibly get him that would be enough to show izuku just how much he meant to him? Shoto had never been good with words and although he'd gotten better at it, something like a card or song wouldn't work. He had tried asking their other friends for advice but everyone had the same thought process he did, at least until he asked bakugou. "Just give the dumbass a personal interview" shoto hadn't even had the chance to knock let alone ask, before bakugou had pulled the door open and growled out the suggestion. "He's always gathering information on everyone else and has gotten interviews from everyone but you." Todoroki wanted to ask how he'd gotten bakugous interview but decided against it. "Now that you have an idea get the fuck out and stop all this bullshit, some of us are trying to train" based on the flash of red hair he'd glimpsed through the door shoto doubted bakugou was training, but in light of his help he simply nods and turns to leave.
An hour later todoroki is fully prepared with a brand new notebook, a limited edition all might pen that he had somehow missed, and himself. He nervously fidgets as he knocks on izukus door that evening, his anxiety only grew as the door opened to reveal a shirtless izuku with a blinding smile just for him. "Shoto! What's up? Do you need something?" Ever the elegant romantic, shoto simply shoves the notebook and pen into his hands and then points at himself. "What....wait! You want me to interview you!?" Shoto rubs the back of his neck and nods. "I...I didn't know what else to get you for our anniversary so i asked around and this was the best idea-mph" The taller male stumbles as hes practically tackled by a small green bundle of appreciation. "Wow! That's awesome! Let's go do it right now! After that I'll give you your present, I think you'll like it" with hot cheeks on both of them izuku yanks todoroki into his room locking the door behind them. Neither of them are seen for a few days after.
