    In that moment, after hearing Izuku’s words, it was like he had forgotten his hatred towards his father. It wasn’t gone by any means, but he just felt in that moment that he wasn’t burdened by that hatred. He could imagine his presence being more than actively trying to be the antithesis of his father.

    Shouto decided to get a tattoo in order to piss off his father. However, he didn't expect the tattoo artist to be so kind and handsome. What started off as a case of youthful rebellion soon becomes the beginning of a heated and intimate bond between two men.

    Bakugou Katsuki never thought he’d see Midoriya Izuku again. Which was fine by him. Deku had moved away in elementary school and Katsuki quickly moved on, his own high school years turning tumultuous as he adjusted suddenly to becoming disabled and an ambulatory wheelchair user. Now, as an adult, Katsuki only reflects on Deku occasionally- mostly with regret with how he treated him growing up. But that’s all Deku is- a face from his past, and so is the kid Katsuki used to be. He never expected to be confronted with Deku again.

    But all of a sudden green hair shows back up in his life and Katsuki realizes he has a lot more of his past to unpack then he thought he did.

    When everyone found out that Izuku was quirkless, Katsuki was furious… at first. The two fell out, yeah, but it only lasted a few months.
    When Katsuki saw some of those extras that followed him attacking Deku, HIS Deku, he snapped. His body moved on its own, and he found himself punching, screaming, and blasting them until they ran off. Izuku looked up with tears streaming down his face, shocked.
    Katsuki placed a hand on his knee as he bent down to help Izuku up. “Don’t listen to a word they say, Deku. You’re still gonna be a hero. I’ll make sure of it.” Katsuki pulled the smaller boy up before lightly punching his arm. “Not as good as me, obviously. You can settle for number two.”
    Izuku giggled wetly and hesitantly countered, “We’ll see, Kachan. If you’re helping me, then I’ll surpass even you someday!”
    Katsuki scoffed and led the way back to his house. “Yeah, I’d like to see you try!”



    Standard quirkless Deku fic, but he and Katsuki stayed friends, and are now at the cusp of their hero careers at UA
