Summary
Everyone has a Tether, a mark connecting them to other like-minded souls. Most have one in their life. Rarely, does anyone have more than that.
Ashara emerges from the Conclave with more marks than she wishes: the anchor, a tether to the Dread Wolf, and a tether to someone symbolic with a lion. But the Conclave has also created other complications: there are large periods of her life that she does not remember. Ten years, if not more, are missing from her life. Her time in Kirkwall, though short lived, is a blur she doesn't remember. And the more she serves with the Inquisition, the more she starts to fear that she might not be the person everyone believes her to be.
This is a story of connections, and how they change.
