Chapter Text
"Inko, he can't stay here."
"And why not?"
This was where Hisashi Midoriya, a.k.a. All For One, knew he screwed up. He had broken all three of the house rules set by his wife, and he was going to pay for it dearly if he didn't step carefully.
Rule 1: Do not bring your work home with you. To be fair, it was Inko who invited his arch-nemesis in for dinner when he accompanied Izuku from the dorms, and she didn't know All-Might was one of a long line of arch-nemesisses (nemesi?) he had faced over the centuries. And Inko is also the one who invited him to stay the night in the guest room when she noticed the late hour. But Hisashi is the one who brought up that he and All-Might had met through work a while back, and ranting about the effects of several different Quirks against All-Might in a fight (that he may or may not have used in fights against the hero). Given that he told Inko he owns and runs his family's Quirk research company, it's safe to say the rule is broken.
Rule 2: Everyone is welcome in the House of Midoriya. It doesn't take much to figure out where he went wrong with this one.
Rule 3: Remember your manners. Seeing as All-Might hadn't done anything wrong while he was here, and it is actually pretty late, it's kind of rude to kick him out like this.
Inko continues staring, waiting for his answer. "W-Well," he starts, suddenly very nervous. "Ah, I guess there's, er, no harm in it. I'll get dinner cleaned up."
Inko hums, relaxing. "Thank you, dear." She goes off to get the guest room ready, and Hisashi heaves a sigh of relief.
With any luck, All-Might will be gone in the morning. He packs the leftovers into tupperware and glances into the living room. Inko is stopped to talk to All-Might, a bundle of blankets in her arms to make the guest bed. All-Might says something that makes her blush, and Hisashi has to stop himself from crushing the poor pork cutlets. That's his wife! That's his wife!
Inko goes down the hall, and All-Might returns to the couch to talk to Izuku, neither sparing a glance at Hisashi. The urge to crush All-Might into a puddle weakens just slightly.
If All-Might wants to steal Inko's heart, he'll have to fight for it.
