My friends, do you remember how T'Pol referred to Trip in her thoughts, in "Ulysses"? She called him "husband", or, to be more precise, she thought of him as: “my husband”. Ah, but then, there must have been a wedding. And after a wedding - well, of course - there would be a Honeymoon.
“A Honeymoon?”. I can clearly hear voices raised in scepticism and see your disbelieving faces, dear readers, while you inevitably shout out: "Vulcans don't have Honeymoons!” Sure, sure, you are right, my dearest friends. But, you see, we're talking about a very peculiar Vulcan female - do not forget that fact - who was the first to join her fate with that of a Human. So why is it not possible that she would also have wanted to enjoy this unique and pleasant human tradition with him? Ushering in the pleasure that many Vulcans, after T’Pol opened the road, enjoy to feel? So, believe me, I am not lying when I say that she, the first Vulcan woman to marry a Human man and to break the barriers of traditions and customs as rigid as those of her people, least of all wanted to miss the pleasure of such a “satisfactory” human custom.
