Work Text:
Kakyoin is spending a very late night gaming. "I'm thirsty," he says, so he goes to Taco Bell.
"Hi, welcome to Taco Bell," the cashier says looking very dead inside. "What can I get for you today."
"Well mister," Kakyoin pauses to glance at the the employee's name tag over his big MLG Gucci sunglasses, "DIO, I'll take a Baja Blast. Make it a large."
The DIO man only sighs. "That'll be $1.75."
Kakyoin slaps down some monopoly money and makes his way over to the pickup counter. Nobody dares to point out that it isn't a reliable form of currency. If you think about it, it's no more reliable than the US dollar. Neither is backed by anything of objective tradable value. Kakyoin obviously knows this because he hates baseless capitalism, hence the monopoly money.
DIO just doesn't care. He trudges to the slushie machine and fills the cup with the coveted gamer fuel before handing it to the patron. "Here you go sir."
"Thank you. Have a good night. Remember that trans rights are human rights, black lives matter, and acab."
With that, Kakyoin was able to peacefully return to his gaming in peace. That's enough activism for today.
