u know how it is^that was my initial description but alternatively I will try to give an AO3 standard description:

“Sandy left.” He turned off the sink and faced Steve, quickly, his whole body tensed, like he might bolt back out the front door the moment Steve replied. But he didn’t go anywhere. He just stood there with his back against the counter, and Steve could see now that his eyes were red, the circles under them dark.OR: An angry Steve shows up at Soda's house looking for a friend & a place to stay. Little does he know he's not the only one who needs comforting.
