    It’s almost funny how something as small as a child running into your legs in a grocery store can turn your whole world upside down.

    It’s almost funny, because mostly, it’s really just panic-inducing. It’s, well, it’s your whole world turning upside down. It’s the way you’ve lived, the way you function, being twisted into something entirely different. It’s the very core of your being becoming the inverse of what it’s always been.

    At least, that’s the way it is for Tokoyami Fumikage and Kaminari Denki, the day they set out to go grocery shopping for Class 1-A and end up being hit with a small child’s out-of-control quirk.

    That’s the way it is when Tokoyami Fumikage and Kaminari Denki set out with shadows curling within one and electricity burning inside the other, and end up with the electricity in the former and the shadows in the other.
