   Summary

   The Selection AU (the Bachelor but with royalty)

   Crown Prince Midoriya Izuku is getting married. He just doesn’t know who he’s marrying yet. In the kingdom of Yuaehye, the tradition is to hold a Selection, where potential matches compete for the chance to win the royal heir’s hand. Izuku will have to choose his spouse from a carefully assembled pool of a dozen suitors. It’s daunting, but as his mother and father make plans to step away from the throne, it’s time for Izuku to step up, and that means finding a partner.

   Bakugou Katsuki is a hot-tempered young knight on track to be the next Captain of the Guard. He also happens to be the prince’s childhood best friend, though their relationship as adults has always been rather shaky. So it comes as a shock when Katsuki crashes the Selection, demands a spot in the competition— and becomes Izuku’s surprise thirteenth suitor.
