”So, why did you want to talk with us so urgently, Kinoko-chan?” Itsuka asked her fellow classmate, who was sitting across her.
”Yep, you seemed pretty desperate,” Setsuna agreed from beside the redhead.
The girls were sitting on futons at the common room. It was a Friday night and they asked their homeroom teacher’s permission for a girls’ night. Thankfully, their teacher gave it to them without a second thought and even warned the boys not to dare disturb them in whatever they planned to do.
”W-well,” Kinoko started hesitantly while playing with the hem of her nightglow, ”I-I need your advice about something.”
”What can we help you with, sweetie?” Yui asked the other, placing her hand on her shoulder. She had a soft spot for all of her classmates, even thought sometimes it was hard to show – especially with the boys.
”All of you are in a relationship, which means you are more experienced than me,” Komori started, but Setsuna interrupted her.
”Excuse you, but I am single and proud!” Itsuka rolled her eyes and Reiko hit the greenette on the head with a pillow. ”Okay, okay, sorry for interrupting!”
”To be more precise, almost all of you are in a relationship, which means you are more experienced than me,” Komori repeated the sentence.
”Is there someone who’s captured your young heart?” Ibara asked with her usual poetic tone and crossed her fingers.
Kinoko blushed, then nodded. When they saw that she would speak up again, everyone leaned a little bit closer.
”You know, whenever I speak with Kuroiri, I feel these warm and fuzzy feelings in my chest,” she admitted with her blush spreading to her ears. ”I have no idea what to do!”
”Ah, young love!” Ibara sighed dreamily and Itsuka rolled her eyes once again.
”You’re a first year as well, you know,” Setsuna muttered under her breath, but all of them fell silent when Reiko spoke up.
”It was Yui who asked me out after one month of the start of school,” she said, leaning in her girlfriend. ”I had nothing to do, only say yes.” She tilted her head up and kissed the ravenette on the cheek, making her blush.
”Juurota-san is such a gentleman!” Ibara said with a dreamy expression. ”He said that he wants nothing more than to have the honor of being my boyfriend, but he is willing to wait as long as he needs to. So we can say it is half-official.”
”He calls you ’Miss Shiozaki’. Of course he’s a gentleman,” Setsuna teased the greenette, but instead of getting embarrassed, Ibara only smiled gently.
”My case is just like Reiko’s,” Pony spoke up next. ”One day, Neito walked up to me and announced that from now on we are together.”
”I remember that!” Itsuka said with a snicker. ”That was the first day you two ate together and his face was as red as a tomato.”
”Well, his body language usually speaks louder than his mouth,” Pony said which made all the girls laugh. After their joy subsided, Kendou opened her mouth, but was stopped when Setsuna raised one of her hands.
”You don’t have to say anything, Class Rep!” The green haired girl said and Kendou didn’t even have the time to feel offended, because Reiko continued immediately.
”…cause you two are the perfect match!”
”…your love bloomed at the battlefield!”
”…you’re Class 1-B’s power couple!”
”…and you’re going to marry someday!”
”Girls, stop!” Kendou all but whined, fighting tooth and nail against her blush. When she heard the giggle, she turned towards Kinoko who had a delighted expression on her face.
”I’m really thankful for your help, girls!”
”But we didn’t do anything special-” Pony mused and all the others nodded.
”Mh-mh,” Kinoko said, shaking her head. ”You showed me that if I really want something to happen between us, I have to be brave, but consider how Kuroiro feels at the same time.” Her smile widened, brightening up the whole room. ”I couldn’t ask for better friends!”
