    Prophecies are heard in many different tales, but a common theme is a chosen one bringing about the end. Avery was told from a young age that was his destiny. To bring the end of everything, humans and vampires alike, so the world may start anew. So that was how he lived his life, working to become the heir to the family name as one of the Thirteen Nobles of the Vampire Society, and bring about the end as well.

    The Nobles had never been a very progressive group, ran by elders who have been in power for far too long. Being born only half vampire, Amelia was never well liked among the society that raised her and the siblings in which she shared blood. But with her return to the life she once left behind, she's determined to right the wrongs of those who made not only her life miserable, but also those who she cares for.

    But a friend from his childhood returns and Avery becomes distracted from his duties. She notices this change in him and is determined to find out how it was caused. Was it really because of his so called 'destiny'? Or is there more behind it?

    A change is coming.
