Ochako felt like she was about to throw up, and for once it was not because of her quirk. Her eyes glanced briefly towards the other train passengers, worrying either of them might be recognised, especially Katsuki—who looked eerily and uncharacteristically calm next to her. Or, well, calm for Katsuki's standards. The blond had something between a sneer and a pout as he watched the city landscape gradually turn into that of the country side. If she didn't feel on the verge of an untimely reunion with her lunch, she'd brush her lips against his, if only to see how cute he looked when he scowled while flustered.
"You need to take it easy, Round Face," Katsuki grumped.
"Wow, Bakugou Katsuki giving advice on now to relax," Ochako forced the foul tasting bile down, "I've seen everything."
"I can relax!" The blond barked, raising his palms, sparking tiny explosions which scared the hell out of the other passengers of the train.
"I'm just worried," Ochako sighed, thumping her head against the backrest of her seat, "I don't know what they'll think of you, Kitty Kat."
"You didn't tell them anything about me?" Katsuki raised an eyebrow at her, "And I told you not to call me that."
"They know about you," the rosy cheeked girl mumbled, rubbing the back of her head sheepishly, "They know you're my classmate...and that you're at the top of the class...and they saw you in the Sports Festival. And if you keep insisting on calling your girlfriend names, then I get to call you one, too."
"So basically they know me as the guy who threatened to kill you, beat you up, and made you pass out from over-exertion, all of which was recorded live on stage in a nation-wide broadcast television event for all of Japan to see?" Katsuki deadpanned, other eyebrow joining the first.
"They know you're childhood friends with Deku?" Ochako offered meekly.
"Oh how could I forget, you introduced the damn nerd to your parents before me," Katsuki grumbled.
"Well, Iida-kun's family spent last break there for vacation—though I'm not sure what they could have possibly found interesting in my hometown—and he invited Deku with him," Ochako shrugged, "I spent the break there, too, since I hadn't seen my parents in so long, and since we were all there, they wanted to meet some of the friends I keep talking about."
"So that nerd Deku and his nerd boyfriend Glasses got to meet your parents before me?" Katsuki growled lowly, "And you 'keep talking about' them and Frog Face all the time with your folks and not me?"
"You know their names," Ochako muttered, decidedly ignoring the questions and possible implications, "They're your classmates! You've known Deku since you were kids!"
"I know your's and fucking Shitty Hair's," Katsuki seethed, "You two are way more than enough already."
Ochako rolled her eyes but there was a small smile on her face. She rested her head on Katsuki's shoulder, eliciting a tsk from the blond who planted a soft kiss onto the top of her head. Katsuki was right, she was overthinking. She was just introducing her boyfriend to her parents, what could go wrong?

"I don't like him."
Those words felt like a slap in the face. She nearly spat out the tea she was currently drinking in shock. Her father had been mostly silent since they arrived back at her childhood home, right up until Katsuki left to take a phone call from his mother (she knew it was his mother because she could hear both of them screaming their heads off outside) who wanted to know if they had gotten there safely or if Katsuki had managed to get himself kidnapped again.
"What?" Ochako asked, anxiety sky rocketing, "Why?"
"Ochako," her mother soothed, sounding concerned, "We love you but...are you...rebelling?"
"Huh?" The brown haired girl's nerves evaporated, now simply left with confusion.
"You're such a good girl, Chako," her father shook his head, "Why would you date a bad boy?"
"Heh?"
The girl with the zero gravity quirk simply stared at her parents, not knowing how to comprehend what they were saying.
"Katsuki is not a bad boy," she tried to reason with them, "We're both training to be heroes!"
"He glared at us when we picked you up from the train station," her mother said flatly, "And when I tried to hug him, it looked like he almost wanted to throw me into the train tracks."
"When I shook his hand, he said he wouldn't back down from a challenge and nearly broke my wrist," her father said bluntly, "Why can't you date somebody like that Deku-san friend of your's? He seems like a bright young man. Or Iida-kun? He was very polite when his family visited last time. Or even Asui-chan? She seems like a nice, proper girl from what you've told us about her."
"Tsu is just a friend," Ochako shook her head, trying not to laugh, "And Deku and Iida are dating. But ma, pa, you've got Katsuki pegged all wrong, he's a nerd."
Her parents shared a look. Her father raised an eyebrow in disbelief.
"He always prioritises school," Ochako listed off, "He's in the top of our class. He goes to bed before 9 o'clock. He trains everyday. When he was in middle school, his old friends tried to get him to smoke and drink with them, and he reported them to their teacher. Once he even—"
"Ocha," her mother sighed, "Even if all that were true, his behaviour towards people...it's very unhealthy. He swears all the time and he doesn't even call you by your name!"
"He only likes saying it when we're alone," Ochako defended.
"Ochako," her father shook his head, "That boy...he's just too much."
"Hey!" Ochako snapped, anger boiling, "He's been through so much already! That boy has been through more than most of our classmates! He's kind in his own way, and passionate, and honest about how he feels, and proud but insecure at the same time, and he's the only person who has ever taken me seriously and treated me like an equal, and I love him!"
Her parents' eyes were wide, stunned. Only they weren't looking at her. Turning around, she saw Katsuki, a surprised look on his face as he gaped at them. Or her, rather.
Before she could think of something to say, she heard both of her parents sigh.
"You were always so stubborn," her father muttered under his breath, before smiling proudly, "It's good to see you've finally met your match, Chako."
"We just want what's best for you, Ocha," her mother smiled sweetly, bowing her head, "We're sorry. To both of you. We just want you to be happy."
"I am," Ochako grinned, "We make each other happy. Right, Kitty Kat?"
"Yeah," Katsuki grunted.
"Then we're happy, too," both her parents smiled back.

The rest of the afternoon was far less eventful, and soon by nightfall, Ochako found herself on the train once again, headed back to the city.
"I can't believe you spent so much money just to go to the countryside for half a day," Ochako frowned as she took another look out the window, "Train fares are so expensive."
"Hence why I paid," Katsuki stated simply, "I knew how much it meant to you for me to meet them, and with their work and all our hero training, this was the only chance for us to meet till the next break."
"Well, consider it payment for the first time I met your parents," Ochako scoffed, sticking her tongue out at him.
"That wasn't my fault!" Katsuki barked, "It was Auntie Inko who invited the old hag and my old man to dinner when you dragged me over to Deku's!"
"Well I can't blame Deku's mom! She's a saint and she gives me free food when we're over," Ochako huffed, "You're just jealous 'cause your parents loved me."
When Katsuki didn't retort immediately, Ochako panicked, thinking that she went too far. Opening her mouth to apologise, she was thrown off when her boyfriend suddenly spoke up again, voice softer than she had ever heard it before.
"I love you."
"Hah?" Ochako flubbed, already feeling a bright blush colouring her cheeks.
"You said it earlier," the blond spat, looking hard at the littered train floor, face flushed, "Can't believe you beat me to it."
The brunette grinned widely. Wrapping her arms around her boyfriend, she pecked his cheek, which just made him sputter adorably.
"I love you, too, Katsuki," she smiled.
The next moment, she felt her wrists pinned against the window, a shaky breath hitched against her neck that made her shiver down to her spine.
"If you're gonna kiss me, kiss me like you mean it, Ochako," Katsuki smirked.
Ochako gulped, before feeling a fervid fire of determination grow within her.
"Make me."
