Do Re [Mi]

Summary:

There was a child. A child here. They had appeared out of no where in the middle of his fight against All for One.

In which my OC drops into the middle of the first fight All Might had against All for One. With no memories of their old world or of this new one they had been dropped into.

There's literally no plot to this right now and I'm winging it. There will be mentions of experimentation/body mutilation here.

Notes:

hi, welcome to whatever this is. stay for this mess if you want, there's cookies, chocolate chip or oatmeal raisin. i'll bring those store bought cookies next time, the ones with the icing and a crumbly cookie.

i hope you have.. fun?

(See the end of the work for more notes.)

Chapter Text

“Oh my god, there’s so much blood. K-keep with me, Yonn, d-don’t leave me here alone”.

“...We couldn’t find them in the system, it’s like they’ve never existed”.

The figure attached to a multitude of machines twitched, showing signs of waking.

The voice continued, “No missing posters too. I asked around about them, no one’s ever seen the child before”.

Another voice spoke up, “The villain seemed surprised to see them there too. I don’t think he expected them to appear”.

“It’s weird how they happened to appear just as he was about to escape.”

Huh? The child in the bed groggily thought. Where am I?

“They’re waking up,” the first voice said. The beeping became a faster rhythm.

“I’ll get the doctor,” the second voice announced with the sound of a door closing.

The figure slowly opened their eyes. Hospital, their brain supplied. Blinking away the blurriness, they saw a man dressed in a trench coat.

“Hello there, my name is Tsukauchi Naomasa, the head detective of your case,” the man–Tsukauchi introduced, “Can you remember your name?”

The child stared in silence for a moment, “Y-Yonni… I think”.

“You think?” The detective scrunched his eyebrows.

“I’m not sure, but I think that’s my name.” The child answered.

No family name, the detective noted, “Do you remember anything before you appeared in the fight?”

They searched for anything pertaining to a fight in their memory. The weight in their stomach grew heavier, “I don’t remember anything,” they said in horror. The child’s breathing quickened. The beeping was getting louder.

“Hey, hey, breathe with me. In and out, in and out. It’s ok if you don’t remember anything.” Tsukauchi assured.

The doctor chose this moment to enter with the other man that was in the room. Yonni looked through the tears at them. The doctor looked nice, her eyes were a pretty purple color. The other man, however, was dressed in a full-black attire, barring the white scarves around his neck and looked like he could use a few weeks catching up on sleep.

“Gentlemen, if you could, can you leave the room so I can check up on the patient?” the doctor asked.

The two looked at each other, “Of course, we’ll be just outside”.

“My quirk allows me to ‘see’ mental and physical damages to a person with physical contact. So far, it seems like your memories should return, how soon I wouldn’t know though. Your injuries however, have healed nicely, Recovery Girl did a good job patching you up. We almost thought we lost you a couple of times there, you were brave for staying strong,” The doctor explained after doing a quick check up on the child.

The child was looking at the doctor in confusion, “What’s a quirk?”

The three looked back in confusion as well. The man in black–he had introduced himself as Aizawa, answered back with another question, “You don’t know what a quirk is?”

“No, I’ve never heard of it before”.

Aizawa answered in shock, after all, he could see the child had a quirk factor, “A quirk is a power most people have. Like superpowers, but they can be subtle as well. You have one”.

Yonni looked at him, “I do?”

“Yeah, your quirk factor is right there, I don’t know what it is though.”

The child seemed to be in thought. They’ve never heard of anything called a quirk.

“You two can continue your thoughts later, Yonni here just needs to stay a few more days just in case anything happens. I’ll recommend a few therapists as there seems to be a few mental blocks, if anything comes up, just call for a nurse,” the doctor, Doctor Kizumiru, stated as she left the room.

The child stared at the door she had left through.

“Kid, since you don’t exist as far as Japan knows, we need to know if you remember anything about your family,” Aizawa said.

“U-um, I don’t remember much, but I think they used to fight a lot. I think I had two sisters. I don’t remember any names though,” Yonni answered.

The two sigh, it wasn’t a lot, but it was something. “We’ll find them, in the meantime, once you're discharged, you’ll live with me,” the child’s eyes widened, “It’s because we don’t know your quirk yet so I’m the best choice in case it shows up and is destructive” Aizawa explained. He had fought hard for the kid to not end up in foster care, he knew what it was like and refused to subject another kid to it.

Tsukauchi gave the child a smile, “All you have to worry about right now is to get better, we’ll get your statement another day,” the two get up to leave, “We’ll be back tomorrow to check in with you and to see if you can remember anything”.

The room was silent with the child left with their own thoughts.
