    Takes place a few weeks after “Turnabout Intruder.” Considers movies AU. Written in light of COVID-19 pandemic, but is NOT meant to imply that I believe COVID to be bioengineering. In fact, quite the opposite. Kirk’s near-death experience description based on my own experience after I coded after a surgery back in 2001. I also used my personal experience with rape to factor into Kirk’s psyche (although I’m sure he got over that kind of thing better than I have).
