“Major, unidentified flying object sighted about Soukai city! Location: SH0639. Optical readings can not discern the nature of this UFO. No bio-energy readings. Scans of the UFO’s interior have failed. ”
On a skyscraper, a giant news screen flashes red.
[Air Raid: Code 404! Emergency!]
“ Clusters of small honkai beasts and mech units detected. Battle plan deployed and validated. ”
Thousands of white and pink winged honkai beasts — akin to large flies — fly past the warning screen on the nearby skyscraper, wings buzzing.
A puddle splashes on the street far below the bustling hoard of monsters.
2 years, 5 months, 16 days, 02:34:23 - 24 -25
after the 3rd Honkai Eruption.
“Deploying drones to cover Valkyrie boarding action!”
A battleship with a super powered honkai-reactor is heading straight for Soukai city. Schicksal has sent Major Himeko’s Valkyrie trainees to subdue the ship, as if it crashes, 30 million lives will be lost, and it will spawn a Honkai Armageddon.
“ Double time Kiana! ”
Kiana chuckles and merely smiles, not breaking eye contact with the large battleship above her. “Aye-aye madam! Don’t rush me, it’s hard work out here.” Kiana walks forwards on the helipad, her white braids flowing back and forth in the wind. She is calm and steady, body flowing like the runoff of a glacier. Tapping at a device on her ear, a visor flashes across Kiana’s eyes.
The large battleship hovers menacingly over the city, with a hoard of honkai beasts flitting from under it. The buzzing closely resembled being right next to a hornets nest, but a lot more dangerous. And then honkai beasts, oh how they can sting.
The young knight smirks where she stops, and dozens of Schicksal planes fly in from behind the girl, shooting down each monster one by one. A plane is then exploding right in front of her, orange flames lighting up the sky.
One plane, however, begins to spiral out of control, and it’s path is heading right into Kiana.
Kiana runs forward on the helipad, propels herself upwards, and twists, “Neko-“ Kiana starts, lifting up her leg, “CHARM!” Kiana’s body bends as if she were dancing to the most graceful of ballets. From some sort of subspace, a mechanical orange and white cat arm comes crashing into the plane, sending it twisting into the air.
Himeko sighs into her coms, and Kiana can just hear the commander rubbing her forehead, “ Jeez, at least maintain discipline soldier. ”
Another plane swiftly flies by, and Kiana jumps.

The blue sky hangs overhead, seemingly unaware that a plane is descended straight into a building.
“Himeko,” Kiana began, “the aircraft was destroyed.”
Himeko let out a heavy groan, “ Save the explanations for later. I’ll prepare a new drone for you now. ”
As Himeko cuts out, zombies take form. Kiana huffed, “These guys are too easy!”
Once Kiana disposed of the monsters, Himeko cuts back in, “ Soukai city is on the brink of destruction. ”
Half listening to her superior, Kiana watches as yet another, more powerful honkai undead spawns. Kiana groans, and hangs her head for a moment. “Really?” She whines, but prepares herself anyways.
“ We must stop that battleship from crashing into the city and killing 30 million people. ”
As quickly as it had appeared, Kiana knocks down the Jun-Ninja with ease. Kiana lands kick after kick, not sparing a single second. After a particularly nasty kick, Himeko chimes back in.
“ The battle machine is already nearby, keep moving forward! ”
The young knight hums in response, and makes her way over the rubble. Kiana vaults herself onto a protruding support, and waits for the drone.

The drone zooms through the sky with supersonic speed. Kiana’s braids swing back and forth from the drag.
But now archangel after archangel spawns on the honkai ridden jet. Kiana grips her guns, and fights.
As the plane soars, the sea spray hits roughly, creating walls of water and mist along the sharp edges of the vehicle. The drizzle drenches both Kiana and the monsters, but doing nothing to end the battle.
In the corner of her eye, Kiana sees the bridge they’re basing overhead explode. Debris scatters, and falls into the ocean below.
One by one however, the Honkai disappear. They leave no evidence that they were there, only a faint yet jarring memory of combat.
Kiana taps her earpiece, looking around, “Why are they all retreating? It seems like there is a big one about to arrive.”
Right as Kiana finishes, another honkai beast spawns, and Kiana instantly recognizes it. Konungr: An emperor-class honkai beast.
“ Kiana .” Himeko warns, but the young girl doesn’t listen.
“Himeko, wait! I’ll take down this big bugger and then give you a full report.” Kiana suggests, and moves towards the beast. Her shoes scuff against the metal alloy of the drone.
“ Skip that fight. You’re close enough to the target battleship. ” Himeko pauses, “ I’ll make your drone stall midair, it will be up to you to grab the battleship when the moment is right. ”
But Himeko’s words are lost as Kiana yells, “Don't worry, watch this!”
“Neko Charm!” The same, large mechanical cat paw from before appears, and claws at Konungr. Kiana kicks and twirls, shooting bullets into the thick armour.
The fight rages on, each side exchanging attacks. But, it won’t be long because Konungr retreats, disappearing in a pink stream of light. Kiana only sighs.

“Major Himeko-“ Kiana spoke into her coms, a visor like screen appearing in front of her eyes, “I’ve sent the honkai beasts packing, the ship is in sight.”
A voice spoke back, “ Roger. Prepare to land, Kiana. ”
“There it is,” Kiana mutters, a smirk gracing her face. “The Moonlight Throne, Selene.”

The first thing that greets Kiana when she lands on the Selene, is Himeko’s bagging voice.
“ Report your status, Kiana! ”
Kiana rolled her eyes, “I’m on deck! Everything’s going smooth, Himeko!” She puts her hands on her hips and smiles, eyes glinting mischievously..
Himeko sighs heavily, “ I’ve said it many times, but I’ll say it again: You May only address me as ‘Major Himeko’! ” Her voice raises at the end, and Kiana can just see the Major’s annoyed smirk.
“ Ahem ,” Himeko clears her throat before continuing, “ 30 minutes before the battleship crashes. We must seize the helm of this battleship. We cannot let it destroy Soukai city! ”
Kiana nods, even though Himeko can’t see it. The battleship buzzed and whirls around the young knight, making it seem more alive than the honkai zombies it spawns.
“Your teammates are in position. They will rendezvous with you in a while.” The Major informs, and it sounds like she’s reading off a script.
The young knight instantly gasps and cups her hands together, “Mei! You’re talking about Mei, right? I’ll be meeting up with Mei, right?” She chitters excitedly. She could see Mei again, and this time in battle!
“ Calm down girl. Stop being so obsessed with Mei. ” Himeko groans.
Kiana merely sighs, but the Majors words go in one ear and out the other. Inside, her heart is fluttering.
Himeko takes a deep breath, her exhale creating static in the coms. “ Stay vigilant. We’ve lost track of the Emperor-class Honkai beast you fought. ”
Oh, right. That . That could be a problem.
Kiana laughs anyway, Himeko’s words not affecting her. “Pfft.” She scoffs, eyes rolling, “By the time that idiot comes around, I’ll be riding this battleship home.”
She could picture it now. She’d swoop in and save the day, and once the battleship docks, she’d instantly be promoted to an S-tank Valkyrie.
Kiana’s coms buzz, signaling that the call has ended for the time being. Taking a deep breath, Kiana grips her pistols. Two archangels materialize right in front of the girl. And so it begins .
Shot after shot rings out, honkai beasts and zombie corpses falling to the ground one after another with a dull ‘ thud ’ before disintegrating.
Himeko’s voice cuts back in Kiana’s ear, just in time! “ Target neutralized. Keep moving towards the forward section of the deck. ”
After a minute or two, another familiar voice connects.
“ Kiana, Mei reporting. I’m safely in position. ”
Kiana gasps, and her eyes light up like fireworks, “Mei! Awesome! I’ll head over right now!” She barely lifts one foot before Mei responds.
“ Hey, wait. We should follow the battle plan... ” Mei trails off.
The young knight grins to herself, “We’re the bestest partners! We must stick together to make things easier for them.” Kiana
Mei sighs, “ I think it should be ‘ make things easier for us’ . ”
“Oh dear!” Kiana retorts, voice dripping with sarcasm. “Whatever. The battle plan also allowed us to be ‘flexible and respond as required’, right? Just wait for me!”
Finally, the fun can begin .
Jumping onto a platform, Honkai zombies greet the young warrior. With a smirk, Kiana points her pistols at the monsters, and fires.
“Can’t wait any longer!” Kiana exclaims, and violently kicks another zombie. “It’s already been 2 hours, 27 minutes, and 38 seconds since I’ve last seen Mei!” She fires another round, knocking an undead right to the ground. Watching the corpse dissipate, Kiana whiles the sweat off her brow. before moving on.
Right when Kiana turns, she hears footsteps. Kiana mutters a curse under her breath as she turns once more.
“No annoying zombies or beast can get between Mei and I!” The warrior releases another Comet Fall combo, the large mecha cat paw stomping down on the unsuspecting zombie.

“Hmm, that should be it.” Mei say sighing as she sheaths her katana.
That’s odd , Mei’s thoughts trail off, I hear… footsteps .
Mei turns around, only to be met face to face with a familiar mecha cat paw batting away a honkai zombie like a fly. Behind the paw, is a smiling Kiana. Mei smiled back.
