“Come on, hyung, get up and let’s go,” Hoseok pulls on Yoongi’s blanket with a smile hanging on his lips and shakes the older’s arm. He’s all freshened up and ready. His skin is cold from the shower that he just had and it feels nice on Yoongi’s skin.
“Five more minutes,” Yoongi grumbles. He captures Hoseok’s hand and rolls, pulling the other onto the bed with him.
Hoseok yelps and laughs. He tries to wriggle away but Yoongi locks him in a tight embrace. “We’re gonna be late,” he says, still giggling.
“So be it,” Yoongi replies, nonchalant. He doesn’t really mean it, of course, but it’s nice to pretend that they don’t care for this brief moment. The stardom can wait for another five minutes. Right now, they’re just Min Yoongi and Jung Hoseok.
And it’s nice. It always is.
“Three minutes, okay?” Hoseok says, surrendering. He carefully moves so his shirt won’t wrinkle too much and pulls Yoongi closer, tucking the older to the crook of his neck. It’s ticklish, slightly, but Yoongi is warm and he likes it.
“You smell nice,” Yoongi says against Hoseok’s skin.
Hoseok laughs. “We’re sharing the same soap and you own the exact same perfume that I’m wearing right now.”
Yoongi shrugs. “Doesn’t smell the same,” he slurs, dangerously falling back to slumber. “Soap, perfume. They’re not it. I guess it’s you.”
“Hm?” Hoseok inquires, already closing his eyes himself.
“I guess I just like your smell,” Yoongi says, pressing his nose to Hoseok’s collarbone to make a point.
Hoseok laughs again, slight crimson on his cheeks. He’s happy and it’s silly, but he feels what he feels and he feels happy. So very happy.
Elated.
Euphoric.
“I guess you just need to stick with me, then,” Hoseok says, feeling the heat creeping up even more to his face. The feeling is similar to the one that he has when he’s drunk. The good kind of drunk.
“Hm, yeah, I guess so,” Yoongi agrees easily. Then, he adds, “You’re stuck with me forever, now.”
Hoseok laughs, merry and in love. “Forever, alright.”
The three minutes are up but neither of them is going to say anything about it.
