    Summary

Master Cheng, Master Nie and Master Lan have a series of problems on the first day of school.

The System that governs all of the rules of assassination? They've found dark cultivation in it, but no one knows why.

Jin Ling and Lan Jingyi? They've been assigned by the System to assassinate each other by the end of the year, but no one knows why.

The Yiling Patriarch? He's arrived as a guest lecturer in historical and dark cultivation, but can they be sure they know why?

This fic is a modern AU with magic intact, where cultivators became assassins - all except for Wei Wuxian.
